my skype crashes everytime i click on say a contact or the home page or even my profile and it makes it unable to be used please send some suggestions on how to fix this since i can't download any old versions of skype because they're shutting them down

Open Windows Event Viewer -> Custom Views -> Administrative Events. Look for the recent error messages with timestamp corresponding to Skype crash. Copy and paste here the text from the General tab.

I just did two System Restores (and clicked something that asked me about "[something -exe]," and now Firefox won't open at all.

I hope someone can help. My husband did something to update Firefox (or Firefox just automatically updated today, I don't know which), but I didn't like the new toolbar much, so I did a System Restore to get back the old one. That didn't work, so I then did another System Restore for an earlier day, but when I restarted the computer, Firefox wouldn't open at all.
A pop-up asked me something about "allowing 'something-.exe' at start-up," with options like "Remember this action, don't allow, and allow," I think, and I don't remember what I clicked, and that's likely part of the problem, but in any case, I can't get Firefox to start now. I click on the logo/icon and nothing happens.
I tried to undo both System Restores, but the computer would only restore the most recent one, not both.
And I tried, as suggested on the forum elsewhere, to go into "Firefox Safe Mode," but that didn't help either.

That's what happened to me too after I upgraded to firefox 4 and it wouldn't connect to my internet. Now I'm stuck with Internet Explorer with none of my important personal information like my favorites.

Hi, everytime I go onto abode illustrator it crashes almost immediately and just says 'not responding'. it seems to resolve itself but then everytime you click something it just says not responding again. :/ any help is appreciated.

I dont know whats going on ive had skype forever and nothing has ever happend and now just today everytime some calls me or i call them it says "Skype Has Stop Working" Then Crashes? I NEED HELP ASAP PLS!

Safari crashes everytime I click link

For a while now (even before I installed Leopard) Safari has crashed each time I click on a link off my homepage. If I just open the homepage, my.yahoo.com, and leave it, Safari will stay open just fine.
But anytime I try to click a link, any link, it crashes. Any idea what's happening? Could it be that my computer is listed as a PPC even though I'm on an Intel Mac.

Could it be that my computer is listed as a PPC even though I'm on an Intel Mac.
From the crash report Safari is set to run in Rosetta mode (PPCIntel emulation). Go to your Finder: Applications folder and single-click on Safari.app. Then Command/I to open the Info panel. There, uncheck Rosetta, then restart Safari.
If it continues to crash, copy/paste the next crash report.

Muse CC is a 32-bit version and Muse CC 2014.3 is a 64 bit version and the latest version of Muse.

My system is Windows 7 SP1 fully updated with Norton 360 a/v
My problem is as follows:
Installed Firefox with no difficulty
It opened normally
Used and setup Google News UK as default page with no difficuly and page opened normally.
But then trried to open individual items in Google News and every time got message Internet Explorer cannot open this site
Set up a bare Windows 7 SP1 drive and installed Firefox and continued with same message when opening items on the page
I also use both MSN and Yahoo browsers and neither have any problems
I have repeated the process in Windows 8 beta with the same result

Hello, I recently bought a new computer with Windows 8.1 and now Skype crashes everytime I make or join a call. I've tried updating my drivers and reinstalling skype. If someone could help that'd be great. I would really like to make calls with my new computer.

Try to reset all Skype settings.
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
Next go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.
