Skype crashes whenever i call/get called

Hello.
So today i've stumbled across a problem i have never had with skype.
Now. whenever i get called or want to call someone. it crashes and closes.
I've checked multiple other threads about this but nothing seems to work.
Re-install, delete some kind of d3.. file (doesnt even exist in my folders)
All other things i found are for windows 8 and i still have windows 7.
So eh. what now?
Solved!

Are you sure? There should be.
Your GeForce drivers are out of date:
    http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers/results/82606
Is your Samson Meteor Mic actually a headset or is it appearing as a set of speakers as well when it shouldn't? You ought to delete it if it's a mic and it's installed itself as a speaker as well. Just try removing it and relaunching Skype - I don't like what it's doing and it might be screwing around with the system.
    Try resetting Skype settings:
    1) Exit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to terminate Skype.exe.
    2) Open explorer, search for %appdata%. 3) Find the Skype Folder.
    4) Rename this folder to something like Skype_Old
    5) Now search for %temp%\skype.
    6) Delete the folder entitled 'DbTemp'
    7) Restart your computer, then launch Skype
You can still get back your conversation history. This data is located in the folder you renamed earlier.

  • Skype crashes on startup after getting a new GPU

After I got my new GPU, a AMD Radeon R7 200 skype crashes a few seconds after I log in. It will always lag, and then completely freeze. I have found no solution to this. It used to work perfectly on my old GPU.

First update your Windows 7 installation to the latest Service Pack 1 (SP1) and make sure that you have the latest driver updates available too. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-windows-7-service-pack-1 Also, update your Internet Explorer to the latest IE11 version for Windows 7. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/internet-explorer-11-for-windows-7-details.aspx

  • Skype crashes internet during calls?

I've tried everything I can to fix this problem, I've contacted customer service twice and all they said was basically "Too bad, I don't know how to fix it".
Whenever I am in a call with another person, and both our videos are active, the call crashes if one of us screenshares. It will also crash if there is a third person with their camera on in the skype call. The only way to fix it after it crashes is to restart the whole computer, and it only crashes the internet on this computer.
I have to hold the power button or cut connection to power to turn it off, because it won't turn off regular because it is always waiting for crashed skype to close as well, which will not respond and won't quit either.
I'm using windows 7, using wifi through an adapter.
Anything I can do to fix this problem which has plagued me for a year?
