Compressor crashes 2 sec. after opening...
help! "Compressor" crashes 2 sec. after opening. and this, all the time. it has NEVER worked, actually... ever since I bought FCP2
I went on the apple site to get the 3.0.1 update but when I try to install it a message says "your mac can't install this version".
I tried (as some of you suggested here) to clean-app compressor and install again. nothing....
any more suggestion? I really need to fix that...!
thanx guysI finally called Apple for this Compressor problem, and actually they said that 99% of these problems come from the other application, QMASTER : they adviced me to throw COMPRESSOR AND QMASTER away (with a clean app application, in order to kill also the linked files) and to re-install the 2 apps.
and actually it worked fine for me! -
Safari Crashes 2 secs After Loading
It was my fault, I should have waited for the system to shut down properly, but I was in a hurry and didn't wait longer.
Next thing when I logged in, Safari crashes 2 secs after loading. The message I've been getting is:

Skype crashes on startup after getting a new GPU
After I got my new GPU, a AMD Radeon R7 200 skype crashes a few seconds after I log in. It will always lag, and then completely freeze. I have found no solution to this. It used to work perfectly on my old GPU.
First update your Windows 7 installation to the latest Service Pack 1 (SP1) and make sure that you have the latest driver updates available too. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-windows-7-service-pack-1 Also, update your Internet Explorer to the latest IE11 version for Windows 7. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/internet-explorer-11-for-windows-7-details.aspx

Black screen after login. Windows 8 is not opening
After login, I only have a black screen with a cursor.
Windows 8 does not open. Cannot get to "System Restore" or Control Panel.
HP hardware self- diagnostic tests were negative & didn't help.

Adobe content viewer grey screen after login on windows 8.1
we're on Windows 8.1, content viewer is not running, after login it shows a grey screen with just "Adobe content Viewer" on the upper left, but nothing working....
I'm sorry Neil, I'm working on a folio on Indesign, if I share the folio from Folio Builder (Indesign) to my account, and then I open adobe content viewer on my iPad, I can see the cover of the folio shared and I can download it.
Instead, with the same account on adobe content viewer (windows 8.1), I see nothing and I can not do any action. -
Screen is Black after login on Windows Server 2012r2 Standard
I got a call from the client saying they logged into the server and now it only shows a black screen. I then RDP into it and sure enough, after login there is just a black screen. I searched around and found thread that had a link to a hotfix that will stop
this from happening. I applied the fix and restarted and thought all was well until this morning when I got a call that the server was acting weird.
I RDP in again and black screen. I RDP into the VM and then into the main server and still black screen. On top of that 2 windows 7 workstations were getting the black screen after logging in. 1 user had it then after 5 or 10 min the desktop just appeared.
The then logged into a workstation at their office to try and RDP into the server and I get this black screen after logging in, 5min later the desktop shows up. Not sure what is going on but it is very frustrating. Also when this happens on the server Nothing
can be done besides a hard shutdown which I don't like doing every other week.
Any ideas? Is it somehow related to the workstations also having the same issues???Any ideas???? Here are a few articles but nothing else seems to be working regardless of numerous workarounds.

Skype crashes upon opening after latest Windows up...
I'm running Windows 7 and some automatic updates got installed when I shut down on Friday. This morning I started up my computer for the first time since and Skype opened on startup and sat there are normal. When I went to use it though it crashed and now it crashes almost as soon as I open it again.
Here's the error message from event viewer:
Faulting application name: Skype.exe, version: 7.4.0.102, time stamp: 0x55310e09
Faulting module name: Flash9.ocx, version: 9.0.16.0, time stamp: 0x449aefc4
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Anyone got any ideas? Do I need to downgrade to an older version?
Thanks
Solved!
Go to Solution.Skype uses IE and its version of Adobe FLash. Your Adobe Flash (9) is nearly a decade old. You need to update it to attempt to resolve the issue.

ThanksHi Jiří,
looks like a bad Audio codec (bdmpega64.acm) causes the crash:

Exception raised while verifying the heap block.
This situation happens if we really cannot determine any particular
type of corruption for the block. For instance you will get this if
during a heap free operation you pass an address that points to a
non-accessible memory area.
This can also happen for double free situations if we do not find the
block among full page heap blocks and we probe it as a light page heap block.
Arguments:
Arg1: 000000aa6c971000, Heap handle used in the call.
Arg2: 000000005d0b4440, Heap block involved in the operation.
