Skype crashes when I answer a call or when someone...
Hi,
Whenever I answer a call or whenever someone answers my call, Skype stops working. I have tried with both people & the call test service both with the same result.
I have tried reinstalling skype with no effect. I have been able to make calls with people so long as they call me when my skype isnt running and I turn it on when they are mid call, then I can answer them. But otherwise, it just keeps crashing.
Kinda getting frustrating now.
Thanks in advanceOpen Windows Event Viewer -> Custom Views -> Administartive Events. Look for the recent error messages with timestamp corresponding to Skype crash. Copy and paste here the text from the General tab.

Skype crashes when I start a call or join a call
Whenever I try to call a friend of mine, my skype freezes and says "not responding" and then I have to close the program. Whenever I join a call, it enters not responding and either:
A. I'm still in the call and I can hear my friends, but I am unable to click anything on the window as it still says "not responding"
B. It doesn't connect me to the call and I have to close the program.
I've restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Skype and I'm at a complete loss as to what's going on. Can someone help please? EDIT: I've also tried updating my drivers but I think they're up to date. I'm not sure what's going on whether it's some program I'm unaware of or if my drivers are actually outdated. Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool. Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. iTunes compelled me to download the latest version, before I could complete a transaction (which, needless to say, was botched). I have Windows XP, and I cannot open iTunes now without freezing or crashing my computer. This is utterly frustrating, since I can't even play any holiday music, much less update my iPod.
Can I uninstall, and reinstall the older version? I do not need all the bells and whistles, and I detest the new format (even if it were to run on my computer)?
I'd love to be able to access my Xmas playlist someday. What didn't work? Removing everything or just the older version of Bonjour? Did you follow the instructions in the link I provided above to walk you through the process?
Perhaps it would be a better idea to post this in the iTunes forums, since it is an issue with iTunes and your iPod Shuffle.

Skype crashing/freezing without an error
So this problem is completely random and I wish I would get an error so I can actually resolve this issue but what happens is, at any given point the program will just freeze, it will not say that it's (not responding), it doesn't do any of that, it's just literally frozen with the call being stuck as well so nothing works, I can't exit with the X at the top right, I have to open the task manager or wait around 30 seconds for it to instantly close (with no message or anything)
I'm on windows 8.1 64-bit with the most up to date Skype version I can get at this time which is (7.5.80.101)

PS CS3 freezes my computer whenever I launch it.
I purchase PS CS3 four years ago. Since yesterday everytime I launched the program it opened but froze whenever I hit any button or tried to open a file.
Help!If you have a PC try visiting the web site of the maker of your video card and downloading/installing the latest driver for your hardware and OS. My advice: Always reboot after installing drivers even of you're not specifically directed to do so.

Hi there
I upgraded to the latest Skype v7.6.64.105 - ever since my Skype crashes when I make a call - oddly I get "not responding" but the call continues - I cannot press any Skype buttons during this time - when the call ends - the other person needs to hang up - then my Skype crashes and needs to restart.
I've uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled.
Cleared the %appdata% Skype folder - renamed this folder - had Skype recreate this folder.
I've done a system restore - same issue - then uninstalled/reinstalled.
Windows was upto date prior to system restore - then performed updates again.
My video drivers are up to date. Checked dell for updates - updated bios.
Reading on other boards - people are advised to run DxDiag - which I did and have attached. Skype seems to continue to work as expected when only using 'chat' - not audio. My audio devices drivers are up to date too?
I am at a loss now - please can you help? Faulting application name: Skype.exe, version: 7.6.64.105, time stamp: 0x55916aec

Skype is crashing on Intel graphics driver. The error message indicates that the issue is with "Switching Graphics" (NVIDIA <-> Intel). There are no driver updates available for Windows 8.1 for your laptop on the Dell site. However, you can try to update the NVIDIA NVS 4200M driver directly from the NVIDIA site. http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/86814/en-us -
Skype crashing when receiving calls or making calls (update 7.2)
Never had this issue but Skype crashes when I attempt to call somebody or recieve a call. When I accept a call it works for around 30 seconds before cutting out and similar for making a call. My friend had a similar issue with his skype freezing his computer when calling somebody, turns out it was a power issue with his gpu and motherboard, Problem with mine is that it's a laptop and I don't have access to the gpu to tamper with.
