Skype Credit Bought on my Account - Need Refund

£80 of Skype credit was bought on my account.
I was locked out of my account as a result.
How can I claim a refund?

If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service, try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.
Skype is aware of problems with the website when contacting their customer service unit.  Skype is working on resolving the issue; more people seem to be getting through and more quickly than in previous weeks since the issue appeared in June 2014. 
The goal is to reach a customer service agent in order to start an instant message chat session with an agent, so several attempts and taking different paths through the various drop-down menu choices presented seems to be working.

I saw in the FAQ that reactivation is generally possible, but not in Japan, where Skype credits expire after half a year. I live in Europe, and bought the credits there, but I will travel to Japan next month and I would like to do land calls using Skype. I will reactivate my credits before my travel. How should I interpret the exception written above in this case? Will I be able to use my reactivated credit in Japan because I bought it in Europe?     Hi, I notice that my skype credit is being deducted even though I have subscription for calls to UK.
    I called +44 uk landline # and my skype credit is being deducted for it.
    I checked my subscription which allows me 120 minutes per month for calls to UK
    and notice I have still 103 minutes left.
    So why is my skype credit being deducted?
    Could you refund my skype credit?

    Your account shows that you called a UK Shared cost 0845 #.
    These very expensive premium #s are not included in any Subscription.

    Hi,
    our colleague has left us and there is about 10 EUR credit left on her account. Is it possible to withdraw (retrieve) it from her account back to our general account? Since she will not be using her Skype anymore, the money there is of no use for us.

    Yes you can retrieve the Skype Credit allocated to her account in Skype Manager,.
    Here are the instructions:
    Sign in to Skype Manager.
    Click Features in the toolbar to display the Credit allocations page.
    Check the box next to each member whose credit allocation you wish to take back.
    Click Take back credit.
    Confirm that you wish to take back the credit by clicking Take back credit. The credit is refunded to your Skype Manager's credit balance.

    Apple usually offers a refund one time. You need to decide if this purchase is the one that you wish to use that one-time refund with.

    From what I gather from your Qs, is that the accounting document was NOT created at the time of billing
    If thats the case, go to VFX3, input your SD document and execute, try releasing the document using the green flag, then go to GOTO --> Notes and u will see the log of why the document was not released to accounting
    The log might help troubleshoot the error

    First things, first: contact the company that issues your credit card to report fraudulent purchases and to ensure no other fraudulent purchases have been posted to your account.   Next, change your account password immediately.  Further, ensure your computer system or device operating system software updates are downloaded and installed; update the virus signature files and run your anti-virus software.

  • Account Hacked and credit bought

    Skype team,
    This morning at 9am (Argentina time) I recieved and email from skype support saying that my primary email address had been changed to *edited for privacy*
    As I didn't performed this change I inmediately changed my email address settings and changed my password.
    Also I realized that there was a skype credit purchase of $60 which of course I didn't do. I already erased the stored credit card. The thing is, where is that credit now?? Because it's not credited on my balance, and also I tryed downloading the invoice and I get an error log.
    The order No is [removed for privacy].
    Can I get more information regarding this issue?:
    - Where is the credit?
    - Where was my account accessed from?
    - Is it possible to speak with skype support about this?
    - How can I send you the printscreen? Is there and email address?

    Urgent -- I discovered today that someone hacked into my Skype account and used up all my skype credit.  Yesterday, I had more than $20 of credit. Today, it is less than 50 cents. I looked up my call history and saw several calls to the Falklands that I did not make. Please investigate ASAP and refund the Skype credit to my account for all the calls made yesterday (which were not made by me). I will change my password right away to prevent further theft.     So I've checked and read and googled... I have the Unlimited World plan that covers China. From my understanding anyway. My account says Premium, which I read does not cover China. But I also have Unlimited World that does include China. When I go to the rates and click on China it shows the unlimited plan at the bottom. When I click it, it says I already have this plan and will be overlapping my current plan. I really need my subscription to work, otherwise I will cancel it, what's the point?

    My account of (deleted) which I’m not using much, since I have a personal Skype account has a credit of 24.04 Euro, which as I checked was automatically charged without my authorization by SKYPE in 2012 ( order ID #[removed for privacy]) - I contacted Skype Chat support and first asked if I can add my personal Skype account to Skype Manager where my business account is and then relocate credit or just simply get a refund.
    I was said that it’s impossible.
    I really cannot comprehend why if the credit was charged automatically without my consent , I cannot get a refund or to relocate to my personal account.
    It's like stealing money from your users...
    I want to know where can I complaint and report it.
    Tried a chat, but the operator was limited to an idiot sheet he copied/pasted from, unable to call a real person or get the customer service email.
