hi, i had to leave the country for a while, and when i came back i found a load of e-mails telling me that my skype credit was about to expire, and the £7-something of credit that i'd put on to skpe had been stolen.. i'd like to have it back please, i don't care what you call it, i call it theft and it's not on, that was my money and you had no right to take it.. i'm amar saleem, and the name i use to use skype is bakayurei

According to the Skype Terms and Conditions credit becomes inactive if not used once in a period of 6 months. You can reactivate that credit at any time following the guidance in this FAQ:

Skype credit reduced for no reason

Hi,
I was checking my skype account on my windows laptop. The skype credit I had was $14.xx. I had a contact request and I was checking it. Suddenly I see skype credit has been reduced to $8.69. Why has my skype credit reduced without making any charges? I fail to understand this.

Skype credit & unlimited world calling

Hi,
I've subscribed for unlimited world calling free month and it was working great.
However it seems my Skype credit have been charged for the same and my skype credit is null now. When u try to make call using unlimited world call I couldn't make a call as it says you don't have credit balance.
I was in an impression to subscribe for this once my free month gets over, but since it makes me think that Skype credit is charged for the free call I have hesitation to make the subscription.
Could you make me understand the below
1. What's the difference between Skype credit and Skype subscription
2. Say if I subscribe to UWC for $13.99 do I need to buy a Skype credit separately to make calls?

1. Skype credit can be used to place calls to phone numbers reachable by the Skype network.
Skype subscriptions can be used to place phone calls at no cost assuming the number being dialed is covered by the subscription and your usage of the subscription doesn't violate Skype's terms of use or fair usage policy. If you dial a number not covered by the plan or exceed your allotted usage (if minute based), then credit will be consumed. Additionally Skype subscriptions do not cover calls to premium, shared-cost or non geographic numbers. Those will revert to credit if dialed. Be aware that many unlimited plans do NOT include mobiles. Dialing a mobile when you have a landline subscription will consume credit.
2. As long as you make calls covered by the subscription then no credit will be consumed nor is credit required. You can have a subscription with a zero credit balance. If you attempt to make a call that requires credit, you will not be able to place the call. If you are unsure what is covered by your subscription you need to revisit the terms of your subscription or keep your balance at zero credit (Auto-recharged disabled) to not incur additional costs.
This FAQ covers what is covered by that subscription. Pay close attention to the landline and mobile part. You can also refer to the Skype rates page and look at the pay as you go rates. If an area code is listed as premium or shared cost for the country you are calling, it will not be covered by the subscription and it will request credit.

My itunes account has been disabled. So has my husband's. OUr credit cards were stolen a month or more ago. Itunes will not let us access account. Please help.****

My husband and my itunes have been disabled. Our credit card was stolen and I think there was some theft to our itunes acct too.
I have put our new credit cards in accounts but we still cannot use itunes.
Please help, I cannot seem to access anyone.

iTunes probably detected the unauthorized activity on the accounts and disabled them for that reason. These forums are just for other Apple users, so no one here will have the power to re-enable your account. You should contact iTunes Support: http://apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

Skype Been Stolen Using A Virus (R.A.T)

Hello, im reporting on behalf of my old skype
My main Skype has been stole and it had many contacts such as xxxxxxxxxxx Including me: [Removed for privacy] and much more.
This attack has taken place for almost 6 months and i took no action as i thought ill probably not get no help Im very depressed and would like my skype back please ;'(
If a moderator could contact me please let me know and ill be on skype ready for the reply

Please could a moderator really do something about my skype or hes going to end up hacking all my friends like a deactivation of the account would be nice or a closure until i could get it back.

Skype Credit Stolen

About 11 days ago someone started making calls using my skype credit. I did not notice I was out until a few days ago. I have been trying to send skype customer service a mesage. Security drop down then report fradulent activity drop down. Keeps coming back as we are experiencing some problems try again later.
Well I am not adding anymore credit until this is resolved.
I am glad I do not have automatic add funds or I would be broke. I would suggest to anyone to turn off this feature and do not store a credit card with any online business.

To reiterate, please do change your Skype account as well as the payment method account passwords immediately if you have not already done so. If you use a third-party payment processor, such as PayPal, do change that account password as well and report these incidents to them.
As a proactive measure, you may also wish to run your preferred anti-virus/malware/spyware suite using the most recent virus signature files available. Ensure all system updates and patches are installed, as outdated software can be taken advantage of when vulnerabilities are discovered.
If you experience problems reaching Skype Customer Service, try using a different web browser than you customarily use. One of the technical gurus here in the Community enlightened me that sometimes scripting errors can cause these types or issues.

HT4098 my credit card was stolen and icloud charge was denied, because the card was invalid. i am receiving a message that my apple id has been disables on my iphone.

Urgent -- I discovered today that someone hacked into my Skype account and used up all my skype credit. Yesterday, I had more than $20 of credit. Today, it is less than 50 cents. I looked up my call history and saw several calls to the Falklands that I did not make. Please investigate ASAP and refund the Skype credit to my account for all the calls made yesterday (which were not made by me). I will change my password right away to prevent further theft. I'm sorry to hear of your issue. Unfortunately Skype can't restore any funds lost as a result of an account being hacked. This because the only way an account can be hacked is by the hacker either knowing or "cracking" your password. For password advice please visit here:

It's most likely not you, no matter what they say. I have noticed a LOT of fraud with itunes, even with my own account. One time I caught them doing a database restore. I know this because my password automagically reverted back to an old one! I'm an IT guy who helped design DOD classified networks in the mid-pacific. I know security. The best protection for this is to NOT have a credit card listed in iTunes. Use iTunes cards ONLY. It's a pain, but until they step up, it's all you got.

You can't.
Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with a bank or any other savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. This requires action before the device is lost/stolen. If the device has significant personal information, it should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

In order for a lost iPhone to be located you have to have set 'Find My iPhone' up on it before losing it, and it has to be on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network (how else could it transmit its location) - if any of these conditions is not true then locating it is not possible. You can't use the serial number or IMEI number to locate a phone: the former is only useful to identify it as yours if it turns up, and the latter can be used by most service providers to block it, rendering it useless and preventing anyone from spending your credit.

Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.
Skype is aware of problems with the website when contacting their customer service unit. Skype is working on resolving the issue; more people seem to be getting through and more quickly than in previous weeks since the issue appeared in June 2014.
The goal is to reach a customer service agent in order to start an instant message chat session with an agent, so several attempts and taking different paths through the various drop-down menu choices presented seems to be working.

I had two subscriptions
1. Unlimited World
2. India 400
The first time I subscribed for India 400, it worked perfectly fine. My phone calls to India were covered in the subscription.
However, after exhausting the 400 minutes a few days ago, I renewed it again today and called up some numbers in India. To my surprise, my skype credit got exhausted! I even got the receipt by email from skype and paypal that the payments have been done successfully.
How do I claim the refund for the calls made to India which were supposed to be covered under subscription but instead charged to my skype credit? My account details show "0 minutes left" under "Your Subscriptions" -> India" at this point of time. I must add that it has already been more than 30 minutes.

I checked your account and you don't have any subscription minutes left for this month.
For example if you purchase India 400 five times a month it will still only give you 400 minutes per month.
Your minutes will be reset on the 7th of August and since you paid twice this month your next payment will be in September
