Skype doesn't combine pinned icon and taskbar when...

This was already reported but nobody from skype replied check here
I have this issue on my Surface Pro 3, with win 8.1 Once i lunch skype it open a taskbar, but still keep skype pinned icon separated... it make me loose space. Worked perfectly before on Windows 7. Version of skype 7.5.64.101

I can see that Safari is NOT in the Dock ...
Did you check out if Safari is still in the Application folder ?? open Finder an go to the application folder.
If it's still there than you can drag a copy to the Dock.
Do the following ... Select Safari icon an hold down the mouse an the Option key ad the same time while dragging to the Dock. During dragging you will see a + (plus) next to the Safari icon.
Place the Safari icon in the Dock where you like it, next to the Fire Fox icon is maybe the best place to put it.
Post back with the results ...

Particularly:
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge for up to 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue is persists, please contact Apple Support.

Office 2013 - Incorrect Icons In Taskbar When Apps Running

Hi,
I have a a strange issue relating to Office 2013 (all apps in suite) in our school based Windows 7 domain environment.
When students login and run any app from the office suite they launch correctly and are able to be used. However the icon that is displayed in the task bar for say, Word, is not that of Word but is the icon for Database Compare 2013. Powerpoint
as another example always displays the Publisher icon. If you right click the icon the options available also refer to the incorrect app, so instead of an option to bring the Powerpoint app to the forefront it says Publisher.
The incorrect icon is always the same one for each app whenever launched and is the same for all users.
We have updated Windows and the Office to the latest patches. Possibly worth noting that we are running this config on Apple iMacs using bootcamped Windows 7 but I don't personally believe this has any bearing as it's only Office related.I have search
for instances of this issue and see there is a hotfix for incorrect icons when in a remote session rather than physically logged onto a machine. I also see references to deleting the icon cache for the user but local user profiles are scrapped on the
machines here when the student logs off.
Any help or pointers are greatly appreciated.

Since the icon shows fine in local but only incorrect through RDP session, I am thinking this might not be the promblem of Office application self. RDP session might not load the correct icon for Office duo to the file permission or wrong path.

When I'm using pdf printer I don'g get the adobe icon just i "windows icon" and it's opens in the background. I'm using Win7 64-bit, office 2010 32-bit and adobe x pro.

Help, My Safari doesn't show its icon and will not open?

So heres some help for you:
1. Im a new member, not an idiot when it comes to computers but in no way very expeirenced and knowledgable.
2. I recently was informed I had 0 disk space left, so I deleted a lot of stuff and feel I may have accidently deleted something..

4. It doesn't show the traditional Compass Icon for Safari it is a blank white page..? With the Applications Logo on it.. ( see picture below )

Movies in iTunes doesn't combine discs 1 and 2

This is an annoying problem and need help fixing it haha
I have LOTR Box Set and I ripped them into iTunes. Well it's good but it doesn't sort by disc 1 and 2. This has been a nagging problem for awhile but got back on it tonight. Because I was ripping and sorting my old childhood cartoon series I had purchased. So they are fine because episodes field is there.
Well I had to change them o music videos to get the option for "part of compilation" to come up. I had ticked that before, I'm assuming iTunes 12 removed the option displaying, also my other movies don't have a disc field. I had tried other solutions in other posts for iTunes prior to 12 but nothing worked.
So community, any ideas?

Limnos, I'm banging my head on my desk right now, you are correct and probably this thread will vanish because of the legality. Just for anyones information, RIAA has permitted it for music, but have changed from time to time, but MPAA hasn't. Good thing I'm an expatriate in another country currently where such a law isn't on the books.
Anyway....
I found reference to a tag editor on another forum but thought I'd try here first. With the limited amount of multiple DVD movies it may be a none issue and I'll try to leave calm my OCD when I open my movie tab in iTunes.

Mac doesn't show Ipod icon and doesn't open ITunes automatically

I really look for a good advice to solve this problem, the 2 Gb device is property of my 11 y.o. daughter.
The IPod Nano is two months old (Christmas), set up and installation went ok at the time. It works properly. Tonight I connected it to one of the Usb ports of my Mac Mini dual core but nothing happened. No icon, no ITunes opening.
ITunes is version 7.02 .

Has anyone found a fix to the code on Google Toolbar (NOT a Google search box) to make it work with Firebox 9.0.1? my tool bar doesn't show any icons and says its not compatible. I've tried to fixes to no avail.

I've tried two fixes:
1. Went to Firefox Profiles at AppData >Roaming > Mozilla> Firefox > Profiles > Default Profile > Extensions and look for the directory where the Google Toolbar is installed. Mine is located at {3112ca9c-de6d-4884-a869-9855de68056c} directory.
Changed the maxversion to 10. Find this line <em:maxVersion>4.0.*</em:maxVersion> to <em:maxVersion>10.*</em:maxVersion>\
2. Went to Lib dircotry and opened up the file toolbar.js with a text editior and replaced all www.google.com/accounts WITH: accounts.google.com

You can turn off compatibility checking, but more and more of the Google Toolbar will not work. Google is no longer supporting the Google Toolbar so you should use the alternatives.

I seem to be having trouble figuring out the best way to accomplish this, though, as whenever I try to execute this query I get not a valid group by expression. How can I combine the greatest function and the aggregate sum function without creating a separate view?

So how could you determine the value, i.e. table1.oneorzerocolumn, if for the same value of table1.field1 you have different values of table1.oneorzerocolumn?
You are aggregating by field1 so which value do you want to use for non aggregated columns?
Everything will be easier to understand if you can post some sample data, explain the logic you want to apply and post the expected output for the sample data you have posted.

When itry to click on the Facebook icon the main s reen for Facebook will pop up and close right back up very quicky. What is the problem is it my iPad or the app???

Try deleting the Facebook App and reinstalling it.

Bug? Mouse wheel doesn't work on Firefox and Chrome when added an application skin

I added a customized skin to make the background of Flex to transparent. The skin is created by the "new file wizard" and only changed the "backgroundRect" 's alpha to "0".
It works with no problem in IE8.0.6001 and Opera11.6 but doesn't respond to any mouse wheel event in FireFox 11.0 and Google Chrome 17.0.963.79.
Is it a BUG?
The flash player's versions are: IE:11.1.102.55; FireFox:11.1.102.55; Chrome:11.1.102.63; Opera:11.1.102.55

I opened a new Flex project and then tried again. I finally found that it's not a problem of flash but div rendering.
It seems Firefox and Chorme don't pass mouse wheel event automatically if div layout is set to "absolute".
Although this is not a Flex issue, any idea of passing that event to flash will be appriciated. I haven't find a way to do it so far :-(
What I'm doing is editing the "index.tamplate.html" to test. I added a div to contain the div of "flashContent" and set it's style to:
    position: absolute;
    top: 150px; left: 150px;
    height: 250px; width: 250px;
    z-index: 10;
Another div's z-index is set to 1 to test the overlay effect.
The reason why I added a div to contain the original div of flash, is I cannot figure out a way to effectively edit the CSS of the "flashContent" div.
Any help will be thankful!!

Starting Firefox in Private mode from the pinned ico in taskbar causes Windows Explorer to crash.

Starting Firefox in Private mode from the pinned icon in taskbar (right click, choose "New Private Window") causes Windows Explorer to crash almost everytime, but not always. Very odd.
Didn´t happen with previous versions of Firefox.
Firefox 22.0, Win 7 Ultimate with all updates applied.

That's a very odd behavior indeed. All I can think of is that an add-on is confused and makes Firefox crash. The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

changing the shortcut location for an Office 2013 application:
When you try to change the shortcut locations for Office 2013 applications in the Office Customization Tool (OCT), you receive the following error message:
Invalid start in folder. Please try again.
Then, you add the Start in location for Office 2013 and run a customized installation. When you double-click the shortcuts that are displayed on the desktop, Configure shortcuts does
not work and you receive the following error message:
Sorry, we couldn’t find your file. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?
To work around this issue, type a single open bracket ([) in the Start in
field.
