Skype doesn't login on my i phone 4

Hi i needed skype for i phone4 when i was trying to download the i phone app rejected  and shows to update ios from 4.0 to update the latest one i updated to ios6.0 but still skype doesn't work. i removed the app as shown on Apple website reinstall again but still skype doesn't working.

it's unclear as to what you mean by it don't work your title seem to indicate that it can't login but your post seem to indicate that it can't launch
if the former then I would reset the password

  • Skype doesn't login automatically

    Hello,
My skype app updated automatically to version 5.3.0.65524 a couple of days ago.
I just noticed that when I start the app it ask my username and password, something that didn't happened in the past, even when I "close session" on skype.  (once I started again it logged automatically)
It normally logged myself automatically (the username and password were inside the app).
Does someone know how to make this work as I described again?
    Thanks in advance

_New_  Skype for Fire HD absolutely does not have an option to sign in automatically when opening. Last version I could "Sign Out" from my dropdown on my avatar, and Skype would close down, and when opening it at a later time, I did NOT have to sign in again. Now after I sign out, when trying to open Skype, I have to sign in with my username and my password AGAIN, that's a drag.
I have the last version on another Fire HD and the Option for "Sign In Automatically" _IS_ in the Settings drop down box, and it _IS GONE_ from the new version. Seems Microsift/Skype does not want us to sign out.
I have downgraded to Skype 5.2.0.61097 APK (although sideloaded - not from the Amazon store, and will keep this version until Skype/Microsoft fixes this.
    Fix this.

  • Skype doesn't work on Windows 7 ultimate computer

Hi! Four weeks before Skipe was working on my computer on Windows 7 ultimate properly. After next update to version 6.6 it's stop working. After start Skype appears blank window and nothings happend for more than 20 minutes. I've read posted messages here and recommendations. I made all recommended - uninstalling Skype, cleaning work folder and registry and new install. After that Skype doesn't work again. I've tried the same with versions 6.3 and 5.1, but all the same happend. Than I try Skype ver. 3.8 and it's workin now. Please help me.

Which version of Internet Explorer? Try Below: Exit Skype: From the system tray >> right click on the Skype icon and click "Quit Skype"  Delete Skype desktop shortcut. Press WinKey + R to open the Run windowWinKey (the button is located between the left Ctrl and Alt with the Windows logo)  Type: %programdata%\Skype\Apps and press Enter.  Rename the folder login to login1. Then go to Skype folder inside Program Files (x86) and go to phone folder and then right click on Skype application and select send to Desktop (Create shortcut) Re-run skype using this new shortcut.

  • Skype Crashing on Login

Skype crashes upon login and I get a "Skype has stopped working." message. It started after my Win7 computer got a BSOD while skyping someone. First time I uninstalled Skype and reinstalled which got it working. The second time trying to open it though the error came back and uninstalling/reinstalling is not working. I have uninstalled, deleted the Skype appdata folder, removed all of the Skype registry keys, restarted, then reinstalled only to get the same error. Below is the error message I keep getting in the Event Viewer. I am having an issue where Skype is crashing everytime I attempt to sign on. I have tried the  sfc /scannnow with no avail. Yes, it works!
Any ideas? I tried setting myself to busy and disabling sound notifications, but it didn't work.

Errors in these entries may cause poor network performance and/or certain programs to open very slowly, or not work at all.
Edit: If it still doesn't work, I'm bailing out on this one. Sorry. Skype was bought by Microsoft and I stopped using it.
Maybe check out the Skype wiki page?

  • Can't login on my Android phone: "Oops, please check your details".

Hi all, I have created a new plain Skype account yesterday. I works fine on my laptop, where I can sign in without any problems. However, on my Android phone I just get the error message "Oops, please check your details" and Skype keeps showing the login screen. Password and username that I enter are definitely correct. With my old plain Skype account I can login on my Android phone (and laptop) without any problem. I have already force stopped the Skype app, cleared the data, uninstalled and reinstalled it. I have also made sure that I wasn't logged in on my laptop. The only apparent difference seems to be the hyphen (minus sign) in my new Skype name. Might this cause the problem? My setting:Alcatel One Touch 997d w/ stock Android 4.0.4 & WiFi (home network), Skype v3.0.0.6181 Thanks very much for your help,
    Dom

Oh, I have to update my story. I spoke too soon in my earlier post . Only after about a few days, or something like a week, the error came back again. And I'm QUITE certain that after changing the password, it would work again! (again.) And yes it makes me think special charcaters are not really the problem, but that 'whatever' the problem is, resetting your password seems to provide TEMPORARY relief! I haven't bothered to update my password since this second failure, because of the hassle of updating it on more than 3 devices I own. I have been missing out, no skype on my android phone. This i a real bug. there hasn't been an android updates for months (more than a year? I don't know), why aren't devs acknowledging and looking into this?...

My Iphone 5s doesn't ring anymore (sms, whatsapp, phone call, reminder in the calendar, etc) I can't find why.
I trieds to go on Youtube and for that I have sound so it is just for the rings.
    Can somebody help me please?
    Thank you so much!
    Mary

Have you checked your mute switch (right above the volume buttons)? If you see orange, it is muted and will affect the rings, but not the audio on YouTube.
Just toggle the switch so you don't see the orange and check again.

  • My weather channel app doesn't work and freezes my phone

My weather channel app doesn't work and freezes my phone.  I've tried closing the app.  Also tried deleting and readding it.  All my other apps work.

    Try this:
Make sure your iPhone is fully updated.
    Restart your iPhone
Do NOT open the app, just delete it
Reset your iPhone (hold down sleep/wake and home buttons simultaneously until you see an apple logo, then release the buttons)
    Readd the app
    Open the app and test.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, then it may be an issue with the app itself and you might have to contact the app's developer.

  • Skype doesn't show up at all

    Hi there,
I tried to install skype today. Installation went without any hitches, but running skype doesn't do anything. There's no window popping up, there's no icon in the systray, just nothing. No error messages either, when starting skype from the console. It just runs, but doesn't show up.
Am I the only one with this problem? Any idea what this might be?

Will do, thanks for the hint. Right now I'm happy it runs; as I don't reboot my box too often it's not a biggie with the waiting ... Cheers everybody!
