Skype for my macbook without signing into microsoft?

I have tried several times to get Skype but always end up having to sign on to microsoft with password etc. Is it possible to avoid mocrosoft sign in? I would loke someone to take me step by step to Skype if poss.

If you want to stay away from Microsoft's intrusive services check the alternatives. Facetime (if you both have Macs and/or iPhones/iPads) Viber, Whatsapp etc. There are many.

No Cloud Services when signing into Microsoft Azure Publish

When signing into Microsoft Azure Publish in Visual Studio 2013 (right click Cloud Project -> "Publish..."), none of my cloud services are appearing.
This has previously always been working for me.
Signing in using my Windows Live account (I am a "co-administrator"):
When opening the publish window, I get this popup asking me to create a new service!
Because as you can see, I now have no services:

I have tested the same in my lab environment and I am able to find the list of cloud services.
Suggest you to try the below
Sign Out of your subscription by going to Publish > Manage > Sign Out
Re open Visual Studio by choosing Run as an Administrator and Sign In with your subscription and check if you are now able to find all the cloud services in your subscription

How to use LR6 standalone without signing into cc?

GD this company will not give standalone customers peace and quiet. Shove the creative cloud down our throats whether we want it or not.
I cannot launch LR6 without being signed into cc. I paid for the stand alone edition. Does anyone know the magic mojo to get the dam thing right?

I ended here for a slightly different reason (the actual installation - for anyone interested - see below)
Since I'm here, I can try to give your question, as I understand it, my best shot:
- To check if your serial number "sticks", i.e. is not in trial or subscription mode: Go to the Help menu - System Info...
then if the 2nd line in the window that opens reads: "License: Perpetual", that's all you can do, re-installing won't make a difference.
- In that case, getting that annoying Adobe ID Sign-In message anyway (even if, like me, you don't want to do anything online, sync or otherwise):
there isn't much else to do but close the window without signing in and confirm to quit - Yes... every bleepin' time you launch LR6
I have not found a Preference to disable that check, even under the Lightroom mobile tab (which at least, like the Help menu, confirms you're not signed in). Maybe in a future update they'll have an option to disable that check on startup, at least after the first time (but not yet in 6.0.1, the latest one so far)
Otherwise either cave in and make at least a dummy Adobe ID, or the only other solution: Go back to LR5, unless you need the new functions...
It's still installed separately on my machine, and I have a pre-LR6 backup of my catalogs, so I'll play around with it for a couple of days before deciding. It's certainly my last Adobe product.
Now the reason I ended up here: The INSTALLER actually FORCES you to sign in with Adobe ID even with a VALID SERIAL, which is just plain bovine stuff, and the utterly unhelpful Adobe Chat employee didn't answer my question, pointed me towards Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Help | Serialize Lightroom CC trial to activate as Lightroom 6 (which still expects you to log in, no matter what you try later) and disconnected. Grrrr.
Here's the work-around for that:
- DISCONNECT your network connection temporarily (Turn off WiFi, unplug the ethernet cable...)
- Launch the installer, click on the "I have purchased" half => it will complain there's no internet connection
- But a "Connect Later" button appears => click on it => get the old serial# screen, enter serial (& if necessary re-connect, then enter prior serial to upgrade )
- Next screen, Accept Terms, then next screen choose your install options and there you go.
- You will of course have to get back online to validate the serial within a few days, like before, but at least you skipped the whole Adobe ID Sign-In nonsense, and not deal with the creepy "Starting with this version... share your information with Adobe how you use Lightroom... is turned on by default..."

Upgraded to win7 from xp. Now some songs will not play without signing into an old Itunes id account.

Installed Windows 7 from XP. Downloaded itunes and imported the music library.
Now some songs will not play until I authorize this computer by signing in using an old apple id. Now when I do that the message says too many devices on that id.
Is there a way to convert those songs to my current Apple id? Or is there a way to download them again under the new id?

Content is permanently tied to the Apple ID that it was acquired with.
If you desire the conent on your current Apple ID, purchase it with the current Apple ID.
For future reference, do not create a new Apple ID simply because of a change of email address. Instead, update the Apple ID with the new email address.

Problems signing into yoga computer

Hi!
I have had my yoga for a week now. When the first screen which prompts you to put in your password come up, I put my password in and it says it is wrong and to try again. After you try for the fourth time with the same password, it will say welcome try to start up and then say incorrect password try again. I did take it to tech support where I bought it and they had me renew my password. This did not help. It still goes though the same process. Is this something I can get fixed or will I have to get a new one?

Same thing happened to me after uninstalling a program using a third party uninstaller. Thought that was the culprit. Anyway I wasn't able to find anything helpful on the web that didn't cost money. I knew my password was OK because I signed into Microsoft on another computer. I updated my password for the sake of trying it and of course it did not help. I ended up using the OneClick recovery feature. I had very little data on the drive so I didn't lose anything I couldn't put back on.
After using the recovery I had to use my old password to sign into the computer until it updated.

App store tells me to sign into account I'm already signed into won't update

I am getting a message notifier in the App store that I have 3 apps to update. I use my account all the time, normally it works fine. I purchase apps through the app Store as well as through third parties. Currently the ones to be updated were all purchased through the App Store. This also occurs when I try to download/update Mavericks.
I get a message:
You have updates available for other accounts.
Sign into [email protected] to update applications for that account.
The thing is, I'm already signed into [email protected] I've tried signing out and signing back in. I've tried rebuilding permissions. I've tried rebooting. I've tried jumpstarting the Index. None of these things have worked.
If I go to Purchases section of the app store it will allow me to intall other apps I've purchased but not yet installed on this Mac. Will not let me update Mavericks or my other store bought applications, no matter what I've tried. I keep getting this message telling me to sign into my own account. When I go to the Store menu at the top it shows view my account and shows that I'm already signed into the same exact email address that the App store is telling me I need to sign into in order to update.
Would appreciate any input to resolving this.

I have had both installed for months. I have not run into any problems with them both being present. I could see there being an issue if you plan to accept a call if you are on another call with the opposite client (since the mic/playback hardware would already be in use).

As of August 2013 this DOES NOT WORK with the Windows 8 version. To prove: Start a text chat, let both parties create a few messages. Follow method for clearing chat (Windows-C, Settings, Options, Clear History) Go back into Skype chat of same person as before Entire history is still there. Shut down PC and restart. Go into Skype. Open chat window for same user. Entire history is still there. Install Skype for Desktop Log on Go into settings, IM/SMS Set history to "do not save history" Clear history Log off Skype for Desktop Go back into Skype Windows 8 version History all still there. DO NOT KEEP TELLING US THIS SOLUTION - IT DOES NOT WORK. You demonstrate that you're more interested in getting points in here than actually testing the supposed solution you suggest. The issue with the A1400 is that like most economy compact cameras, they will not have very fast focus times in indoor lighting situations. Many people have gone to entry level DSLR's (Canon T3i) or micro 4/3 cameras. They are fairly expensive, but a late model refurbished T3i can sometimes be found with a kit lens for about $300.00. With Auto and scene modes, as well as full manual modes, these are very versatile cameras that focus very quickly, even in lower lighting situations. Canon is not really into the micro 4/3 cameras, instead they are focusing on the new G7x and G1x cameras, which are way out of your price range. The A720 is still available used at some places such as KEH camera, but you'll need to check often as their stock changes constantly. Obviously the DSLR's don't use AA batteries, but the T3i is good for about 600 photos (or more) per charge.
My refurbished DSLR was practically brand new condition when I got it. I could not find any sign of wear at all, so I feel they are a real bargain. These are rugged cameras that are made to last. The A1400 is a $99.00 camera, so it's not intended for heavy usage, plus the image quality of a DSLR (even entry level) is far better than the A1400. That would be my recommendation.

If it's not on the device list, it indicates that someone has gone to Find My iPhone on icloud.com and manually deleted it from the device list (as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmfc0eeddd), and it has not gone back online since (which would cause it to reappear on the device list; Find My iPhone has been turned of in settings on the device; the iClolud account has been deleted from the device; or the entire devices has been erased and restored.
Unfortunately, there's no other way to track the phone other than through Find My iPhone. You could call your carrier and see if they would blackliste it so at least the theif couldn't use it.

That's because the Mac, OS X and the iLife apps that came preinstalled on the Mac all belong to the previous owner. The previous owner needs to call Apple care and have their Apple ID disassociated from the Mac. Then the hard drive needs to be totally erased and OS X and the iLife apps reinstalled using OS X Recovery.
