Skype for Websites? Live Chat

I'm hoping to use Skype as a contact point for customers on my website and have looked into Olark & Zopim but would prefer to use Skype if possible.
Is their an IM widget or Live Chat where you can interact with clients?

I am very frustrated ... I have a simple question about services from Skype. What are the benefits of Skype Premium? OR is it even offered anymore? Skype premium was required for video communication with my WebSpanish classes,I don't quite know what to do at this point!

Skype for Business Live Tile - How to clear count

I understand that when the live tile for Skype for Business shows a number, it means I had that many missed contacts. But the question is "since when"? Since the last time I opened the app? If that's the intent, it doesn't seem to be working for me. My live tile always shows "6". If I open the app then exit it, the "6" disappears, but at some point in the future the "6" returns without any new missed contacts. So how do I "clear" the missed contact count so that it is actually meaningful? A related question is, how do I know what are the six missed contacts? If I scroll right to the "Recent" list, how do I know which of those contacts are counted as being among the six that were missed? If there is supposed to me some sort of "missed" indicator, I sure can't tell what it is. Any advice welcome! Thanks!

does anyone know if there is a way to actually speak to SKYPE? i would like to discuss different business options (I have spent 20 mins searching the website and internet for a contact us and resorted to this, much like google! ridiculous that you cannot speak to a human being !!!)

A great idea for the Live Chat and Website!

My idea is -
Invest some time to educate the BT.com website staff to type the correct information on the website or take a lesson on the 'BT Data Protection Policy'.
I just wasted 30 minutes of life beacuse of total **bleep** up.
The BT website states this:

But this is the conversation you get after wasting 30 minutes of your time:

Vaseem : I agree with you David, this is completely misleading as we on chat are strictly not authorised to provide account numbers. We are allowed to provide the account number only via a method of sending you a copy bill therefore the link guides you to us.
Vaseem : I have let my manager know about this and we will write to the bt.com team to get this fixed for you.
To top it off I cant even find where to complain by email. I have to either phone or write a letter.
THANK YOU BT - lets see how long this post stays online for - this will probably be ignored anyway.

Yvette landed her first television role - - a two-episode gig playing Toni Childs' sister, Sherri, on GIRLFRIENDS - - by chance. Casting director Robi Reed called her in to audition from a post card submission. Yvette had no credits and no agent. That stroke of serendipity at the beginning of her career, taught Yvette that you never know how God is going to move in your life and career. Booking a series regular role two months later, on the first pilot she auditioned for further proved the point. That show, ABC's THE BIG HOUSE, only lasted a few episodes; but that experience proved to be a blessing as well. Through it, Yvette learned the transient nature of the business and to always "travel light".
Yvette has since appeared (and often recurred) on shows as varied as ENTOURAGE, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, THE OFFICE, THAT'S SO RAVEN, HALF & HALF, SLEEPER CELL, HOUSE, TWO AND A HALF MEN, THAT 70'S SHOW and BOSTON LEGAL - - where she got to perform "Big, Blonde & Beautiful" from Hairspray. That one-time role turned into four years of employment and introduced Yvette and her silliness to the best group of fans in the world...kids! Yvette is also the voice of the tough, sassy and smart Cookie on The HUB’s “Pound Puppies” which begins its second season in June, 2012. Can I create a live chat forum in business catalyst, if so how?

Using my CS 6 Extended Muse application, or even Dreamweaver, is it possible to create a live chat room and upload to my personal BC site (you know, one of the free five sites that come with the CS6 membership).

Not likely as you would need some back-end coding for most live chat applications, even with web sockets.

Question about Cisco Tec support Rep Live chat issue .

Hello guys, I recently just tried to do a session of live tech support on cisco web site about a issue trying to get my router to change the speed of the wireless connection from 54mbps to the potiental maxium of 300mbps. Well This is my second time using the live chat feature and the 2nd time, the guy was asking for my router name and passowrd. I didnt feel to comformtable doing that since my first time using the live chat , the tech guy didnt ask for my operating system, or my passowrds or anything of that nature? Is that normal for a live chat guy to do that? I figured hes was trying to do a remoate access to my computer and I was thinking, they probably dont do that for free especially over a live chat. Anyeone thoughts or am i being over crictical. thanks

i have not had a reason to ask then to do this, however back in the day i had a sony live rep (we were on the phone too) remote into my router to allow me to setup my sony base station (think slingbox but its made by sony) so i could get it to work when away form the home. this was a few years ago so it happens today. some businesses/stores even offer it as a solution. so dont freak out that they asked you that. dell does this for example...
give them a call and have them on the phone with you instead.just have them give you the directions on what to do.... if not, come here and ask the questions...

Real time HTML Chat support for websites?

We would like to add real-time HTML chat functionality to some of the websites we host on our Mac OS 10.4 Servers, so that we can host live chats, discussions and interviews on our website for general audience of the web. It looks like iChat Server can only host chatrooms for iChat clients and that doesn't fit our needs. I'm hoping someone has experience with or recommendations for a software or package install that allows us to host chats on our websites, requiring no special installs for our users, or maybe a simple auto-installing Java applet.

You need to use a credit card with a billing address in the same country as the delivery address. Since there's no Apple Print Store for Costa Rica I assume you're using the United States print store. Therefore you'll need a credit card with a billing address in the US.

Has anyone seen any issues with persistent Chat in the Skype for Business Technical Preview client? No Messages dispalyed.

Hi all,
We are testing out the new Skype for Business technical preview client
with Lync 2013 and although we're not really users of Persistent Chat, I wanted to install this feature too so I added a server pool just to check things out.
I can post and even search the history (which shows results), but apart from seeing my immediate post, when I close the room a re-enter I see nothing. I get a notifications that there are new posts, but clicking "Read" button also does nothing.
We're off for Easter and I wont have access to another Lync 2013 client until we return, so I'm not sure if there is just something odd with my installation.
I would be interesting to see if other are having this issue.
