Skype Home page not showing activity?

When signed in to Skype through the MS account and linked Facebook side, when I clicked on the Skype Home page, I used to see all the current Facebook activity and postings from my Facebook contacts. now I only see the odd contact friend?
I always thought this was a very useful part of Skype, has this now changed or is it me?

Podcast home page not showing all podcasts

Hello fellow podcasters!
I've successfully created a podcast, but am now in a bit of a jam. See, the home page of my podcast is now not showing all my podcasts.

Now, I'm not sure if the home page only shows the most recent ones (If so, how do they define, "most recent"?) and moreover, if it only shows the most recent ones, how do I change it so it shows ALL of the podcasts created?

iTunes Store shows the number of podcasts that are listed in the XML file. Some podcast-making programs and online services which create the XML file for you limit the number of episodes in the XML file - usually there is a setting somewhere to adjust this.

CS Home Page not showing

Ureka! I had the same problem re accessing the Home Page - and it was due to not having put my name as being Online.

Is your Skype connection status Online? The status icon next to your name must be solid green with a white checkmark inside. Try to change the status using the dropdown arrow next to this icon.

Skype home page on MAC

My Skype home page does not show "Contacts", "Recent", "Call Phones" and "Profile". How do I change it to have it?

Mine is just showing me pictures at the top and the rest of the blue screen just says "Bring your facebook friends so Skype"

IWeb Main Page Not Showing

I've researched to death and tried everything but can't fix this.
Recently did a clean install on my iMac and since then iWeb won't work.
I have :
- Reinstalled from original disc then updated to latest version 3.0.4
- Deleted the com.apple.iWeb.plist file and com.apple.iWeb Cache Folder, restarted, and tried opening again
- I have removed my domain.sites2 file to try and open iWeb and initiate making a new site
iWeb is fully loaded and operational - in Activity Monitor it does not have a red flag - shows as being operational. I can access iWeb's Preferences, open and close various Inspectors, but the main window is simply not visible.
I am on Lion 10.7.2
I had updated my website using iWeb while on Lion 10.7.1
I have a small business and my website is outdated and will be losing me new customers at this point who will think I don't have the latest stock and information.
Any help appreciated - naturally no need to reply if 'fixes' are as per other posts and noted as having been tried above.

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For opening your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

http://siteurl/default.aspx page? If so, go to Site Features in site settings page, reactivate the Wiki Page home page feature, check the result.
If not, please check whether there is related information in ULS log and event viewer log file? Does the page shows page not found or other errors? Check whether the site can be opened in other machine?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

When I try to sign in to Skype I get the message that Skype home page isn't available. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Skype twice now but still see the same messaage. This has been going on for a week. At the bottom right-hand corner of my computer there is a grey icon with arrows spinning. I have windows xp and internet explorer 8. Can you help me reconnect to Skype? Thanks

I have the same problems regarding using Skype to call internationally to Lima Peru using a windows 7 desktop with the latest version of skype.
I have been receiving this notice "skype home not available" check later" . I have tried to
remove the program and then download it again . I am using the latest version of Skype but to no avail. I have credit in the account and I want to use the service and I should be able to use it like before it was purchased by Microsoft. With the modifications done lately a lot of the previous options have been deleted. For example there is no option to dial the number by yourself (soft phone) among other previous options that have been deleted without any reason.
If the number is mistaken there is no option to EDIT the contact either.
Skype was simple ,fun to use, Not anymore.
If the moderator is reading this thread please do something about it.

Just in-case anyone els runs into this, I figured it out... I was working from my hotel and apperantly the fire wall was not allowing anything to uplaod, but I wasn't getting an error message from iweb, it would say that everything was published succesfully even though it wasn't. Once I went home and used my connection eveything worked fine.

With version 5, on starting get a box "checking compatibility of add-ons" then to Firefox home page not my home page--What's happening?

Just installed version 5. As above I get the box then it goes to Firefox home page not my home page. I've updated and/or disabled every add-on or extension and it made no difference. I am in a university behind a tough firewall. I'd love to go back to version 4 but that isn't available.

Disabled add-ons will still be checked and can still be updated.
I don't know why you are continuously getting the message, you should only get it when there is a version change.
You can try solutions in https://support.mozilla.com/questions/817681 but you had better make a list of what extensions you had disabled first, because all of your extensions will be enabled when you delete/rename those files in your profile. You can use about:support to get a list of your extensions. (renaming is safer than deleting).

I just did an update to 6.0 on Lion. Now when I re-open Safari after closing it by clicking the red button it re-opens to my home page, not all my previous tabs.. prior to the update it would re-open with all my previous tabs, which is what I want.

I've had what I think is the same problem since the most recent software update. I have Lion 10.7.4 and have updated to Safari 6.0. The most noticeable difference is that where previously I had two boxes at the top of the Safari window (one to enter URL addresses, one for Google searches), there is now only one box for both functions. I don't like that as well, but I can live with it. However, since the most recent software update my "back button" only works about 5% of the time. Most of the time it is grayed out. So I usually can't get back to previous pages using the back button. Also, when I've clicked a link that opens a new window (for instance, going through the return process at Amazon, I clicked UPS locator and it opened a new window), where in the past I would have just clicked the red button after I had the information, the UPS locator window would have closed, and I would have been back at Amazon - now if I close the UPS locator window, all Safari windows close. The Safari application doesn't close, but the Amazon window closes, I'm back to an empty screen, and I have to open a new Safari window and reenter everything. I'm using a work-around of clicking on History and selecting the description of the window I want to get back too, but that only works part of the time. In the Amazon example, that's what I did once I had the UPS info, but even though I clicked the correct window description, it took me back to the beginning of the return process & I had to reenter all the info. Of course, that info was easy to reenter, but if I'm in the middle of a complicated process, it's a big problem. I've filed a bug report; I surely hope the Apple engineers are able to fix this. I'm used to using the back button function a lot!

You can include alternative content for people who do not
have the Flash
player. Essentially, you write the site twice--once in HTML
and once in
Flash/Flex. This is one reason why people will often advise

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
