I realize it is what we entered when we signed up, but I did this so many years ago I have no idea. This time I logged in through my facebook. So what, or how do I find my skype id?

why do you need it now if you haven't used it since forever?
just create a new one and use that.

I am facing 2 issues now, and I will post them separately. Thank you in advance.
First of all, it is very hard to contact Skype (as shownn by another latest post)
1. the link of Support request page on the following page does not work

2. When you scroll to the bottom of the page, the link of "get more help" does not work as well.

I accept Skype not offering any customer support service if all the services are free. However, a lot of customers are paying Skype for pre-paid, monthly and unlimtied subscriptions (for example, me), I believe we are derserved to contact Skype for help when needed.

What is the serial number of the card (on a white sticker on the card)? I've assumed it is an Audigy , and it's been a long time since I had one of those, so I'm not sure what you mean by "test devices" that lets you test the mic. Are you saying that with mic selected as REC source, when you speak into the microphone, you can hear yourself from the speakers? Also, if you have the Creative Diagnostic application, try running that. (Look for it in the Audigy entry in the Creative Folder in your Program List.)

Trying to install SKYPE please help.

I am trying to get skype on my BB STORM, I have looked high and low and understand that the wireless co. doesn't support or want these apps cause they loose out.
I have tried ISKOOT and looked for and found a skype prgm it's a .JAD file, that said it was for the storm but when I try and use the desktop mgr it says not supported, maybe I have the wrong one or just trying to install it wrong.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
(If you are running a PPC Mac with Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and are having problems with watching videos on FaceBook or other sites, contributor Texas Mac Man suggests the following solution which fools the site into thinking that you are running the latest version:)
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.
Google Chrome is not compatible with a PPC Mac, it only runs on an Intel mac. No geat loss IMO!

Skype wifi help

I recently added $5 into my skype account so I can use wifi. I downloaded skype wifi after and logged into there, but it says I don't have funds in that account. Not only that I don't know how to actually use skype wifi. Can anyone help?(I'm currently in the Philipines)

If you installed some kind of software to take part in the conference, remove it.
Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and except as stated in this comment, I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmymac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. Skype question help

I don't know if this is in the right section but I hope someone can help me.
My girlfriend is usually set as "away" in skype. Lately when she has been using her iPad, her skype status changes from "online" to "away" every 10 minutes or so, even when she doesn't open the skype app. I read that this is normal. But last night she appeared as online and never went to "away", which made me realize that she must be using it with someone. She has rarely used skype with anyone but me before, but last night she stayed online from 10pm to 4am, then it went to "away". Yes I was watching it because I was starting to panic that she was talking to another guy...
So my question is, can there be any other reason that her skype stayed online for 6 hours? Whether she uses it on her phone, laptop or iPad, is it possible that it can stay online even though she isn't using it. Or was she online talking to someone until 4am in the morning?

Skype credit help

I just got some skype credit. Will it be life long or will it expire some months after the date of purchase? I know I have to use it atleast once every 180 days to keep it active but other than that how long will it remain unexpired in my skype account from the date of purchase?
Also, is there a way to get it refunded? I charged a little extra than I wanted :S

1. Your credit won't ever expire provided you make 1 call every 180 days.
2. The minimum amount you can purchase/have refunded is $10. To request a refund in excess of this amount please contact Skype customer service

Your Skype Premium is not working because you are trying to call the Philippines, this is not included in the Subscription, this is why the system is asking to purchase some Skype credit, you can see what countries you can call with your Premium Subscription for example here: http://www.skype.com/en/premium/premium-countries-unlimited/

Hello!Need an advise.Can't find answers to several questions.
If I get a Skype number:
1. Can I receive text messages if sent to Skype number?
2. How many seconds it takes to connect calls (very important to know)
3. Can the number be put on hold if not required and be saved for me to use in future?

1. No incoming SMS is not supported.2. For me it's been 1-3 seconds and that is with most of my calls being forwarded through another service as well (2 forwards). It's been like that for the over 8 years I've used the number. Other people have mentioned longer durations to the point when people hangup (like 6 seconds or so). Some claim nothing resolves that problem, others claim it's solved by having a computer connected 24x7 to a stable connection vs. going through a mobile device. Skype provide no ringing adjustment other than time delays (1, 2 seconds, etc.) which would increase the duration. My configuration is on 24x7 and some of my computers on the wired/wireless network respond faster than others on the same Internet connection.3. The number is essentially leased for a duration (3, 6, 12 months) and is enabled for that long. So the usage can't be placed on hold. Choosing a shorter duration and canceling it when not needed would be best. After expiration the number itself would still be attached to you account and reserved for 90 days. So that is one method of hold. Beyond 90 days it's made available to others.

I cannot sign into Skype! HELP! 7.3.59.101

I'm using desktop Skype version 7.3.59.101 for Windows 8 and everytime I attempt to sign in with my Microsoft account I get the spinning wheel of death for a few minutes before a connection error comes up. I've tried reinstalling, deleting folders, uninstalling the Skype App version, and possibly a few other things. It just won't work! Please someone be of assistance.

i was online on skype 2 days ago then suddenly i got sign out by itself then i cannot sign in anymore. it said that it didnt recognize my sign-in details. i tried to sign in from skype website but it said that both my skype name and password are wrong. i've installed the newest version, changed my pasword, tried to contact the community and the customer service but its useless. i made a new skype account, and it works well with the same laptop. but its weird becos i cannot find my old skype account with the new one. im using windows 7. please help me. i dont wanna lose my friends in my list. thank you.

Skype Hacked HELP!

I dont know what happends but person was chatting with me on my skype account and he was angry i got my computer super laggy and i had to restart it when i restarted it asked for system restore than i chatted with him again he called me once i picked up after that he blocked me i waited couple minutes and i just got logged off my skype and password was bad. Any solution??

Trying to craete a new swf with a small skype button. All is well and good, getting the skype button to aprear with the right (dynamic) status but the item is not clicable even though it has the needed code for it. Here's the code that i'm using.
