Skype keeps on signing me out automatically after ...

Hi there, I just want to let you know, for the past few days, my Skype decided to sign itself out after a couple of hours, here are the steps I took to see if things improved, 1. I have unlinked my Microsoft account, 2. I have unlinked my Facebook account, then I have relinked my Microsoft account, so far, it staied stable, I tried relinking my Facebook account, there is where it started signing me out once again. I hope I'm not being singled out here as I've heard that others aren't having the same issue.

When you are automatically signed out of Skype after linking your Microsoft account:
Do you land on the Skype sign in screen again?
Any error message shown on that like "We've signed you out because..."?
Also: Do you happen to use the "Windows Live Mail" app with that same Microsoft account? We've seen reports of users getting signed out of Skype if they use that app: http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/Having-to-log-back-into-Skype-every-time-I-open...

Audio fades out automatically after 15 minutes although not muted

Hi
While listening to iTunes, the music fades out automatically after 12-15 minutes, also system sounds won't play anymore. All settings are set correctly (internal speakers, volume), the iMac is not muted.
After some time switch off or in sleep mode, it plays the sounds again, but after 12-15min, it's quiet again.
Any idea ?

This is an odd situation Skype was working fine, I have to switch between accounts frequently and so it was ok. But suddenly yesterday after I select log out from de menu, Skype closes it self and reopen automatically and log in with the same account, without prompting any credentials. I already uninstalled and reinstalled without luck. Don’t know what to do. Also I updated to the latest 7.1 but same behavior.

I have figured out what is causing this issue and submitted the following bug report to Skype. Before they release an updated version of Skype for Mac we'll have to manually clear the cache in Safari (see my bug report below). Hope this helps in the interim. Skype no longer signs me in automatically

I'm assuming this is an update, because it says I have Skype 7.5.85.101 but it doesn't sign me in automatically when my computer turns on anymore, and every time I put in my password and sign in, it thinks I'm signing in for the first time ever. I don't know what to do about it since I reinstalled, hoping it would fix it or go to some 'fixed' version, but I don't know what to do about it.

Goto tools > options and make sure start Skype when windows starts is checked.

Windos live messenger keep me signing me out all the day

my windows live app for blackberry on my phone keeps signing me out saying I'm signed into another device or computer and I'm the only one who knows my password, i have already reseted and rebooted my smarthphone nothing seems to work, the sign me out in other places is enable on my wlm on my pc which means that if i sign on my cellphone on my pc is going to be signed out, as it can only be sign in , in one place per time, please help!!

Why does CC keep on signing me out as soon as I log in?

This is really starting to annoy me but when I sign in on CC (win) it loads for a bit then immediately logs me out. What does this mean? I keep trying to sign in and get the same result. This has been happening to me the last few days. Need a fast answer since I have projects due.

Skype keeps signing me out on all platforms...

When I sign in with Skype, I get signed in for just a few second. (Mostly) I see the list names of my Skype Contacts (so it's really my account) and then Skype signs my out automatically and I get a Skype screen telling me that I'm signed out.
I tried to sign in on my laptop with Windows 7, my desktop PC with Windows 8, on a PC with Linux and on my tablet with Android 4.4 KitKat. They all have the latest version of Skype installed.
It doesn't make any difference if I try to sign in with my Skype Name and password or with my Facebook-account.
However I can sign into my account with a web-browser on the Skype website with my Skype Name and password.
Can there be something wrong with my Skype Account?

This problem is solved by doing this (earier post from Akyll):
Please unlink your Microsoft account to your Skype account.
To unlink your Skype and Microsoft or Facebook accounts:
Sign in to your account.
In the Account details section, click Account settings.
In the Linked accounts section, click Unlink next to your Microsoft or Facebook account ID.
An information window opens.
If you had a previous Skype account, read the information and, if you agree, select Continue to unlink your Skype and Microsoft or Facebook accounts.

I'm having the problem on my iPad that I'm signed into skype and when I go to another App then go back to Skype it has signed me out and has to sign backin, automatically. It use to stay signed in ALL the time.
I'm trying to get ananswer,supposedly on the 5th of this month there was going to be a fix, but nothing. Can ANYONE help ?

installing"? Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, because sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.

Keep getting signed out - Want accounts to stay li...

This just started happening for me yesterday on two different Windows 8.1 PCs running Skype for Desktop (6.21.0.104). I have unlinked my Microsoft account, and we'll see if that helps. But, this fails to answer an important question: what if I want my Microsoft account linked?
Also, there are messages in several places (including this FAQ) warning that "You can only link and unlink accounts a limited number of times." If I go to link it back, and this happens again, will I endanger myself with hitting this limit?

It worked all day Friday (but lacked my Microsoft account contacts, naturally). So I tried re-linking my accounts. I was on my home PC sporadically throughout the day, but during the times I was on it, Skype stayed connected. Thought it was all good until I got into the office today and tried from my work PC, when it signed me out randomly after about 3-1/2 hours.

I would like to leave my Skype account logged in so people can reach me, however the app keeps signing me out after I switch to another application. I never used to have this problem, but it is interfering with my keeping in touch with out-of-country friends.

Please notice there is two different issues here. The constantly logging out issues is already in many other treads, please keep them alive there. What this guy asking is the same problem I have, and it is not a new issue: When using the newest Skype on IPad 2, it is only logged in when you are in the app. Shortly after you start using another app Skype is logging out. Result; you can only use Skype for IPad if that is the only thing you are using your IPad for. In other words you cannot get calls or live chat except you know it will be coming. This practically makes Skype useless. Any idea of a soultion or whatever microsoft know it is an issue? (The soultion is to divert all calls to your phone and tranfer chat as text message, but it is not free)

Someone kind of threatened to hack my computer and since that day my skype keeps logging out automaticly.Sometimes it stays on for about 15 minuts but then its logs out again.Sometimes it is totaly unuseable it will log out the instance you logged in and i am getting sick of it..They also tried to steal my gmail and succesfully used my hotmail to send spam to my friends and i cant acces that hotmail account either which is x[Removed for privacy][email protected] I even reinstalled windows 7 but nothing seems to do the trick.
