Skype larges my icon??

with the newest skype version came a weird bug. the first time i changed my icon (100x100), skype left it the exact size, but now few days later I am changing the icon again (the same size) and when i choose my avatar, all it gives me (through 'set a profile picture') like 4x times bigger version, instead of 100x100 i get ir larged to 480x480! which makes it a terrible, terrible quality.
is this a bug or i am doing something wrong to set my avatar? please help!

My av keeps changing in size as well. I'd suggest using a higher res quality jpg to avoid this issue. But the BIGGER issue in my opinion is the fact that it gets changed at all.

I am runnig the new skype. 6.22.81.105 Design is quite bad and those extra large emotic icons are so so prudish!!! There is no option like turn off large emotic icons in option of messaging! How can i talk to somebody else, if my message window is not enough bif for three rows of text and few extra large emotic icons? Did somebody test this version if is abble to comunicate to other people? Why so big? I don't understand the development....

No, this is not really good way. It is very annoying to see those giants emotic icons. Pleas add function to disable large emotic icons. I am happy that my other computers have still old skype where is nice workspace. Just this computer...such a shame I have updated to new wersion of skype. I will try to downgrade, because this is not really helpfull answer. Sorry skype team.

How do I allow Skype to get past network?

You make no mention of which OS you are using. The following are Yosemite instructions:
System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Firewall>Unlock the padlock.
Click on the Firewall Options button.
Click the + (plus) button & do the necessary to add Skyp & to allow incoming connections. When done, click the OK button & lock the padlock.
Restart your computer. Report back the results.

Large app icon submission not working

I've been trying to update my app with recent code that fixed a bunch of bugs, but I'm currently stuck on this large app icon submission. I'm honestly using the same picture (1024x1024) as I used in my first submission of my app and now it just refuses to upload my picture. I tried using png, jpeg, jpg, tif, etc., and none of them work! Can anyone help me out here? I'm really trying to get this code pushed for the update. Cheers!

Mail 7.1 large attachment icon in classic layout attachment column

I was running on Mountain Lion till 2 days ago. Over the weekend, I decided to upgrade to Mavericks, which went really smooth. However, after upgrading to Mavericks, when I open Mail.app, I am seeing large attachment icon in the attachment column. My Mail.app is configured for classic layout. When I change to modern view, I don't see any problem, but I don't like working on modern view.
I have taken some snapshots and posted below. As you can see, the attachment icon size actually varies from folder to folder, which is even more odd.
Anyone seeing the similar issue? Any idea how can I fix it?

in summary, here is how to fix it:
Go to Mail --> Preferences --> Fonts & Colors --> Message list font and changed it to any other font, and back to what you'd want it to be. Now notice your paperclip icon is back to normal.

Possible to change Skype Insant Message icon on Android phone?

Is it possible to change the Skype instant message icon apperance on my android phone (Motorola Droid) so I don't get Skype IM's confused with a text message? When I get an instant message from Skype, I'm not sure if it's a text message or an instant message from Skype since the icon looks the same. I'd like to difference the two. Thank you.

It only shows when you turn on your iPad. The moment you slide from left to right it'll disappear.

Larger File Icon

I've been trying to get a large file icon for file types, but when i try using code such as
ShellFolder.getShellFolder(file).getIcon(true)all i get is an icon of 32 x 32 pixels. Is there any way to get an icon of a larger size?

I believe the "larger icon" you are talking about is when you set--use large icons on--and all of your icons are scaled to a larger size by windows. I've not experienced nor seen any docs on making indiviual icons larger than the default value, nor can I get any reference to individual icon sizing in windows.

In a program, I have to display a list of elements. These elements are represented by an icon. All the elements must be "Drag and Droppable".
First step : I would like to know HOW to display my element's icons : using wich java component(s) ? Using wich method(s) of this/these java component(s) ? The display MUST be the same as the Windows NT File explorer (using Large Icon in the file list)

The common use is to put directly the objects you want to manage into the list. After that, you have to
manage what is called the 'renderer' of the items in the list.

Extra Large Photoshop Icons

When I open my Photoshop cc it opens with my entire computer screen and I can not see some of my icons. This did not happen until I opened it up as administrator. After opening as administrator it opens extra large every time. How can I get it back down to its original size?

You didn't say if you're on Windows. If you are try opening the preferences and making sure you don't have 200% scale turned on.

Mail, extra large email icons, and JAVA machine

In email from Vircom, my anti-spam/virus filter provided by my ISP (surfnetc.com), that lists/quarantines potential spam and virus emails, some of the icons used to indicate spam type display Very Large and distort the whole message (not all of them and not a particular one consistently). I questioned Vircom, who referred me back to my ISP, who just told me "it's a problem with Leopard OS, has to do with how their JAVA machine reads html... if anyone can fix it, it is Apple." Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a fix for it?

do you mean vircom as in a mail client you use on your mac, and are you not using Leopard Mail? if so, may I suggest you post your query under the "Use Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard" pages, as these pages are dedicated to the Leopard Mail.app

Can I make larger SubVI Icons?

I have a SubVI with 18 input/outputs, and I am struggling to get all
of the wires connected in a neat manner. Some of the stock SubVIs,
such as "Elapsed Time" have larger icons to accommodate more
terminals.

A subVI allows having up to 28 terminals and sometimes becomes hadr to
wire them. I LabVIEW 7 you have the option to view the subVIs as Icons
or as large express format. You can change any subVI (native to
LabVIEW or custom) to the express view by right clicking on it and
disable the "View ans icon" function there you will be able to expand
it to show the terminals.
It would also be a good idea to group some terminals in clusters, tht
way you reduce the number of terminals needed.
