Skype maxes a cpu core periodically for several seconds and does not respond
Skype 7.7.85.103 uses a lot of cpu periodically, and is not reacting for several seconds.
I am not sure, if this is related to advertisements changing in these intervals, but if it is, then this should not be happening.
I already did a clean install (inclusive removing EVERYTHING from the registry), and it did not help.
I tried as administrator - once again, it did not help.
It is less visible when I am connected to a powersource, as the cpu is then going faster, but it still happens.
And it is not the first version that has had this problem.
In case it may help, there is the dxdiag.txt attatched.
hello, in order to further diagnose the issue, could you run firefox in safe mode once & see if the problem is occuring there too. please report back afterwards, thank you...

Hello skdog I possibly think your ipod touch is black because it has not charged. If your dock is broken it might just mean the dock will be broken and so might be the USB port. You should see an Apple shop nearby and hand it over and see what they can do. I hope this information works!

When I got to step #3 (While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.) my Ipod would not turn on, and Itunes did not recognize my Ipod. :S -
Has anyone else had issues with phone network being unavailable on iPhone 4 since updating to iOS 5.0.1? My iPhone 4 is continually searching for a network and does not find AT&T, my provider. I swapped SIM cards with another iPhone 4 running ios 4 and established this is a device problem, not a SIM card problem.
Does the device get any signal?
Sounds like the device may have had a hardware failure. If it is out of warranty, the only option is the Out of Warranty replacement.
AppleCare is only an option if it is still under the original warranty. -
Problem: my iPhone 4S (1yr old) has started buzzing for no apparent reason. I cannot stop it or turn the thing off. The screen is black and does not respond to touch. Any suggestions?

I have been having trouble connecting to my wifi on my ipad mini but my iPod is just fine......it will connect and then say "Unable to connect to network" I've tried resetting my ipad mini and turning off my router for 30 seconds and its not working.
What TC do you have? Model number direct from the base is a big help, it will be A1 followed by 3 numbers.. eg
A1409 Gen 4.. The new AC is A1470
How is it setup?
I need the whole network setup. what modem/router, how is the TC connected etc??
I also need to know what IP the ipod gets, so I can see what mode the TC or network router is working in. -
My mac mini will not display home screen. When I turn it on and try to reboot it, there is a gray sceen that is displayed and then a message to restart by holding the power button for several seconds. This shuts down the computer, but then the above problem repeats.
If the message you're getting is in several languages, that's a kernel panic. Kernel panics are usually, but not always, caused by hardware, with memory a leading cause. If you have a mid-2010 mini, you can easily reseat the memory (remove and reinstall) .... mini's prior to that are a bit more involved to open the case.

When I connect my Time Machine it appears mounted several times and does not back up.
Two weeks ago when I connected my external hard drive containing my Time Machine, the drive was listed several times in my finder sidebar with one mounting in the regular teal color and the other seemingly faded but still clickable. The Time Machine says that it is backing up but hasn't since then. I hadn't changed any Time Machine settings nor touched the external hard drive in any way that I could explain why this is suddenly happening. When I eject the machine I have to force eject every instance of it listed.
I've had this Time Machine for over two years now and have never had a problem with it. While I could hypothetically rewrite the whole Time Machine if that would fix the answer, I would rather not lose those two years of information. I've yet to find any other cases of this and am not sure exactly what is even happening, so any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.Ooops!

Safari does not open web page. WebKit2WebProcess.exe quits several times while open web page. drwtsn32 reports a log (can attach log).Safari for Windows is unsupported and obsolete, and should not be used.

Creative Cloud desktop App for Mac crashes and does not work
Installed creative cloud for MAC (running OSX 10.9). App does not run. I see the Creative Cloud icon at top of screen (in menu) for about 0.5 seconds then it disappears. No error messages or warnings. I have tried to uninstall and install the desktop app many times with the same results. It appears there is no way to download the LR CC and PS CC that I paid for.
I have even tried to run this from another dmim account. Same error.
I have run disk utility - repair disk and repair permissions.
Please can someone help me with this issue?

Important : Launch Activity Monitor and "Force Quit" all the process related to Adobe like Creative Cloud setup, CoreSync, AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon from Activity monitor.
1)
Click on the Finder and look for the options listed next to Apple Icon located at the top left corner of the Desktop screen and click on "Go" menu button and select "Utilities" option.
(Applications>Utiliites)
Locate Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manager folder under Utilities window and trash both folders.
2)
Click on the below link and download & run Adobe Cleaner tool :
Select the option "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6" and then click on "Clean up Selected" .

Every time my Mac has been idle for a while and i go to mail or safari they fail as the network has been deselected even though it is on .My Touch never has a problem just my iMac I put the details back in and apply them and lock it , if i stay on for hours and hours no problem but if i leave for a while when i get back the network is not selected in the list … it is there just not ticked … the lock is still on and an ADMIN password required to change it is ticked .

I charged my Ipad last night and this morning there was a message from icloud that it has not been backed up for two weeks. I tried to click the ok but it will not respond. I cannot even power off the Ipad. Does anyone know what I should do?
A reset should help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons and await restart. No content will be affected.

Question slide not advancing on click to continue
I have only one question slide out of 6 and it is a true/false question. When answered the user clicks submit and the correct success caption appears and it indicates click anywhere to continue. The slide doesn't continue when you click on the slide.
