Ahh! You've suffered from two problems: Windows 7 and Impatience!
Turn off all security software and open all firewalls in Windows, restart everything and then try re-entering DFU from the start.

Testing Function Module before using in DataSource?

Hi Experts,
After writing a Function module for Transaction DataSouce (by copying RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE), is there any way to test the Function Module before using in Transaction DataSource? (to see how many records it retrieves).
Also can somebody please throw some light in understanding the source code of RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE function module, as it has many declarations like E_T_DATA,
I_T_SELECT which will be used in the new function module?
Looks like, the function module RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE uses only one table SPFLI.
If it is just one table why do we need to write function module to extract data?

The generic function moduel is used when there is no BW extractor and you cannot get to the data via a view or table
The extractor is quite simple
You create a extract strcuture of data to send to BW
Then you create the function module - e_t_data takes on the extract structure
The select options read data via the infopackage selection from BW (and thus when you create your datasource you shoudl click the fields to be select option)
So in the ABAP
You read the select option and put them into a range
You select from which ever tables you need to in R3 and put into an itab
You then loop aroudn the itab and manipulate the data or read other tables
The data finally ends up in e_t_data
The whole thing gets looped around based on the size of the data package - ie if it is 10000 records then the fetch next cursor after 10000 records will send the package of e_t_data out to the refc scheduler and down the line to BW - then the fetch next cursor will get the next 10000 records for the next
I use this all the tiem (so sorry for the brain dump)
I especially use it for virtual cubes - ie to get real time data from R3 from within BW - the data is not requested by ipak but by the query at runtime against a Virtual cube which connects to this generic extractor
Note: this generic extractor can also live on the BW side - ie you can use it instead of APD to snapshot cube or DSO data to send as an ipak into another cube

I am new in Oracle D2k.I want to know that how to call windows XP/7 shell commands(operating system functions) or windows function key(like F5 for system refresh in windows xp/7) in an Oracle Form.
Actually I have to make a trigger which can fire at pressing a particular key and execute appropriate action of Windows7 like shutdown,F5(function key of windows to system refresh).

Just for future reference, regardless if you are posting in the Forms area of the forum or any other, terms like Forms 11g, Oracle 11g, etc are parts of product names. They are not version numbers although they do offer a slight hint. It is very important that when posting you include the complete version number of any products related to the problem or question you have. For example, you said you are using Oracle Forms 11g. Look at how many possible versions "Forms 11g" could possibly be:

With each new patch release and major release, a large number of bug fixes are included. In the case of new major releases, in addition to bug fixes, many new features are added. So knowing the version number is important.
Beyond that, it would appear that you have many questions:
1. How to copy and paste
2. How to execute a system shutdown
3. How to force the browser into full screen mode
4. Refresh - this one is unclear. What do you mean by "refresh"?

o I'm not sure what you are attempting to do with the F11. I understand that this function key sets the browser to full screen, but the form will not exactly adjust for this change in browser size. You can adjust the applet size dynamically, but not the form. For that you would need to code the behavior yourself. So, before I can offer something specific, it would be helpful to understand what you expectation is and if what you want is to set the browser to full screen, why not just allow the end user to do it? You could easily have a java script popup displayed before the form starts which might say something like "To maximize your browser, press F11"

I have the same problem, those "deleted" drafts always appear in notification center.
I don't like the solution by erasing the contents/settings and restoring from backup. I simply "clear" from right corner in notification center, but not sure if that "clear" function is just a cover-up, or it actually deletes those weird drafts.

New Pages no longer allows SECTIONS (in thumbnail view window) to be re-arranged like before? You could drag and drop sections within your document the same way you could drag and drop pages in Preview's PDF documents. So how do you re-arrnage your document now?

You used to be able to duplicate/copy a section/page by draging it with OPTION-LEFT-CLICK to a space below or above in the thumbnial window. The same way it works in PREVIEW in a PDF document. Did I miss something or is this also a bug?!

I have this problem also. I use Firefox 32.03 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.
At first i thought it was one of the many add-ons i use that was causing this problem, but after restarting Firefox in safe-mode (without any add-on) it still wasn't working properly.
I also tried the same website in Internet Explorer 11 and it works fine there, so it looks like a Firefox bug to me.
I have this problem since i updated Firefox to version 31 from 28.
If it wasn't for the "Classic Theme Restorer" add-on, i probably would have removed Firefox from my machines after being a Firefox user for about 8 years since version 2. What a mess Mozilla made of the Firefox UI... i hate it.
But back on topic: like the maker of this topic said, it doesn't always open de weblink in the same tab, in most cases it works as intended and opens a new tab when i use <CTRL> + <Mouse Left Click> on a weblink.

If you need more examples of websites, with links that behave like this, i can find some very easily, but this was the last one where i noticed this behaviour.

I am confused as to how to connect my external start botton. I would like it to function like a start button on a front panel of a VI. I would like to use the +5V on pin 14 but I really don't know where to go from here. Any guidence for a novice would be most appreciated.

This is the LabVIEW Real-Time forum, so I suggest that in the future that you post this type of question to the Multifunction DAQ forum.
For the simplest solution you will have to connect your button to a digital line of your board, consult the sc-2345 user manual for a diagram of where these lines are exposed. You will have to connect your start button in series with a line that is high, such as your 5V pin or another digital line. Then connect this to a digital line that will be your start trigger.
Your program can poll the digital line that is connected to your button in a while loop and when it goes high, it lets the rest of the program execute. For the programming, I suggest you take a look at the shipping examples that come with LabVIEW. If yo
u have LabVIEW 7.0 go to Help>>Find Examples. Open Hardware Input Output>>Traditional DAQ>>Digital Input and Output>>E Series for some examples of digital I/O programming with E-series boards.

Can't edit iCal events like before installing Snow Leopard.

When creating a New Event or trying to Edit an existing Event the title field isn't editable like before I installed Snow Leopard. If I try to click on the header field to edit it, the whole event box turns into a window with red & green buttons at the top and I STILL can't edit the title area! This doesn't make sense! Did something go wrong installing Snow Leopard? I've reinstalled it twice and still the same behavior. This can't be the way things are supposed to work editing events in iCal. I can edit the location and all the other fields in the event panel, but NOT the title. The only way I can try to edit the event title is by hitting the enter key and try to add characters before it switches to an un-editable field again.

Perhaps you've just updated your OS and now have the newer version of iCal which is ***** compared to the faster, more elegant older version. The older iCal presented every event's details in a ready to edit format just by clicking on the item in the calendar.
Now you have to double click that item you're interested in (one two) to get a window that shows you the item's details. Then, to edit, you must click the 'edit' button (three) upon which another editable window will allow your event details to be edited. Finally, after finishing your edits, you must click 'done' (four). Yes, that's right, 4 clicks to do what used to require only the initial click to specify which event you wanted to edit.
Four times as many clicks for a utility application that has no further improvements, only this annoying change from what was once a very efficient tool.
I do hope a future "update" will bring back the elegance of the older version with some true improvements.

I have had to periodically delete and re-enter my fingerprint. The last update (7.1) may have improved that. You can delete by going to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode, enter your passcode and then tap "Turn Passcode Off" and then go back to the same area, put a passcode back on and then a fingerprint.

I am having the same problems. Firstly found out that I had a duplicate email address on two apple ids so I fixed that but now it wont let me verify the email address. When I click on "verify email address" nothing happens. So frustrating cos cant set up Facetime or iMessage on my iPad.

I created two views SCO_REQGROSSLINES_V & SCO_REQLINESCOMPLETE on Oracle requisitions base tables. Our business rules enforce the following identity: the number of gross requisition lines will always be greater than or equal to the number of requisition lines complete. (By complete I mean delivered.)
Each view has a key named DATESUBINV_KEY constructed of a transaction date and the subinventory code using this logic:

On 03-SEP-2010 a user created a requisition with one line item for material from the HEAT subinventory which was not delivered. This row is retuned in the result set when I query on SCO_REQGROSSLINES_V but is NOT returned when I query on SCO_REQLINESCOMPLETE. So far so good.
When I issue either of the the following left outer joins I do not get the row for the row for the HEAT subinventory on 03-SEP-2010:

Question: Why would the left outer joins function as a simple join on DATESUBINV_KEY? Do keys on views function differently than keys defined in the data dictionary? If they do how can I make these keys to function like data dictionary keys?

The WHERE clause is applied after the outer join is completed. In your example, rows from rgl will be in the result set even if they have no match in rlc. In those cases, all the columns from rlc will be NULL.
Okay, so you have these rows that contain data from rgl but NULLs where the data from rlc was supposed to go. Now it's time to start the WHERE clause. You then apply conditions like this in the WHERE clause:
AND     rlc.trxn_date BETWEEN ...NULL is between anything, so the row that the outer join prodeuced is rejected.
All conditions involivn columns from rlc probably need to be part of the join condition, not the WHERE clause.
For example, in you first query the FROM and WHERE clauses might be:

LEFT OUTER JOIN sco_reqlinescomplete_v rlc ON    rgl.datesubinv_key   = rlc.datesubinv_key

Conditions that only involve rgl can be in the WHERE clause, but if any conditions from rlc are in the WHERE clause, then the effect will be the same as an inner join.
There no difference between tables and views (or sub-queries) in this regard: the same thing would happen regardless of whether rgl and rlc were really tables or not.
