SKYPE not letting me turn off Auto Start Windows 10

I just upgraded to Window 10 yesterday and now I can not keep SKYPE from starting with Windows. I uncheck the Start with Windows and get an error message that the Port is invalid. The default Port settings are checked.

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.

HT204534 I activated filevault 4 days ago and it has rendered my macbook pro unworkable. There is no estimated time showing in firevault, it seems stuck in the same place. It will not let me turn off firevault in Sec&P or CMD+R

I have removed the power save options and keep the computer on all the time now with the Firevault screen visible .. nothing speeds it up.
I regret enabling Firevault .. but it is so unforgiving for the uninformed ... like me.

Back up all data before proceeding. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Disk Utility. In the Disk Utility window, select the icon of the startup volume from the list on the left. Then, from the menu bar, select
File ▹ Turn Off Encryption
Enter the login password of a user authorized to unlock the volume, or the alternate decryption key that was generated when you activated FileVault.
You can then restart as usual, if the system is working. Decryption will be completed in the background. It may take several hours, and during that time performance will be reduced.

DVD Studio Pro2 does not let you turn off the subtitle in the DVD Player

When I create a DVD in DVD Studio Pro 2 with subtitles and I do not activate the VIEW option beside the Subtitle (in Advanced tab), it does not let me turn the off the subtitle in the DVD Player.
What could be the reason?

Thanks for your interest to help me!
What I did in the three different language selection I selected the audio track and the subtitle.
But I did not select by any flag "View" = which would force it to play the subtitle.
Is there some where else where it has the force option to play always subtitles?
On the DVD Player I can change the subtitle but *not turn it off* by Mac, Win, and external Player.

HT4915 My iPod touch will not let me turn off automatic downloads and match is clogging up everything will downloads that I don't want. Help!

After getting the match program my iPod is trying to download my entire library from the cloud. I have too much music and not enough space so it is constantly running trying to download and I haven't figured out a way to stop the downloads so that I can get what I want. When trying to deselect the automatic downloads it slides back to on. Is there a way to stop this madness? I can't even listen to what music I do have on it.

Having automatic downloads on does not cause iTunes Match to automatically download your Match library to your device. It only causes new purchases made on another device with the same ID to automatically download to your device.
Try turning off iTunes Match on your device, then turn it back on. If it's still downloading unwanted media, go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, tap your ID, sign out, then sign back in.

ICloud has my old email address and will not let me turn off "find my iphone".

I have a new Macbook Pro after years as a PC user. I used Apple computers in the early 1990:s (IIcx, Quadra 700, Powerbook 180, those were the days...). A lot have changed.

Another thing to look at - when shutting down (or restarting):
This will try to put your system back in the state it was in (with regard to open applications and windows) when you start up.

I only want my home page on start up. I do NOT want all my tabs restored. How can I turn off auto restore?

Safari 7.1 won't load large images on MacBook Air. Turning off Auto Graphics is not an option.

When I try to load a large image with Safari 7.1, I get a black box instead of an image.
Chrome and Firefox load the image just fine.
This is a known problem and others have resolved it by turning off Auto Graphics Switching.
However, my version of MacBook does not have the capability to turn off Auto Graphics Switching under the Energy Saver preferences. (I guess I have the GPU or chip or whatever that doesn't provide that option.)
Are there any workarounds?

How do you turn off Auto-Sync without connecting the ipod to PC?

My Purchased Tracks was deleted off my computer, but I still have all of them on my ipod. I have iTunes 7, so I am aware I can transfer all my purchased music from my ipod to itunes. But I know auto-sync is set up, so when I connect it to my computer, won't it automatically sync itunes with my ipod and therefore delete my purchased music on my ipod? Can I turn off auto-sync without connecting my ipod?

A couple of ways...
Hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys when you plug in the iPod. (For a PC)
Or...
Connect your iPod, but before it starts to sync, click that little X on the right hand side of the ITunes display at the top of the page. (Next to the "Do Not Disconnect" message.)
Then click box at bottom that says manually manage music.

Turn off auto-correction in 2.0?

Is there a way to turn off auto-correction in firmware 2.0? I live in a non-English speaking country and most of my typing is in non-English. It's really annoying when my iPod tries to correct every other word that I type.
