Skype not resoinding after internet down

I use skype 7.5.80.102 on win 7 .
When internet down, after that internet up my skype not responring.
And when i log out my computer, after that i login skype also not responring

Skype has now been updted to version 7.0.0.100 this moring but the same issue , Going to hang & message " skype not responding" & screen get frozen. I have to go to Task manager to end the task.

Simple floating clock does not appear after shut down

Hi,
On my iMac oxs 10.9.4. my simple floating clock does not appear after shut down.
Can anybody tell me how to overcome this?

And now I am at the stage it wont automatically start despite it being ticked in the Log In Items.
As Imp68 has asked, do you mean the "Hide" Checkbox is selected?
If you have checked the box, that says, to start the application, however, hide it so it is not visible when you start.
If you run Applications -> Utilities -> Activity Monitor, can you find Simple Floating Clock as a running app? (Activity Monitor has a Search box to make this easier).
Is Simple Floating Clock on your Menu bar?
Is Simple Floating Clock set to float?

Skype not working after upgrade to 6.22.59.107 ver...

Everthing was working fine with my skype until it got updated to new version. I am not able to make any video calls, skype goes into hang, shows Skype not responding. I tried everything, uninstalling & reinstalling several times, but of no use. I am using Windows 7 with , Internet explorer v11 which is exactly as per the requirements in the website. Can anybody help me sort out this issue? I am going crazy since last 2 days after this updates.

Skype not starting after clicking on the icon.

Skype not working. I have done everything possible from reinstalling/uninstalling, to doing physical hardware inspections and memory checks as well as restoring to FACTORY mode.
I have a decent understanding of computers so I am absolutely baffled.
Things to note:
-Every time I click the skype icon and it does not open, instances of it open in tskmanager.
-NO RAM damage or physical damage
-Restored to Factory Mode
-Done malware and virus checks
-Did a wipe of free Hard Drive space and after, some issues occured.
I have a DxDiag if needed.

P.S. Please, don’t say that you are not using Internet Explorer. This is irrelevant. Skype depends on Internet Explorer.

HP Photosmart C410a not automatically establishing connecting to ePrint after Internet down.

Yesterday I replaced my cable modem. This obviously resulted in me losing my Internet connection temporarily. When I hooked my new modem up all my other devices (Slingbox, TiVo, etc) automatically re-established connection to the Internet and showed up online on their respective site. The HP printer though showed as "disconnected" on the ePrintCenter. Turned the printer off and on and I was back "connected" again.
This morning the modem reboot because of a firmware update. I didn't check at the time, but I also had a few brief (few seconds) power outages. The printer is connected to a UPS, though for some reason, it reset. Anyway I checked and it was not connected again. Power off, power on and it's connected again.
Shouldn't this printer detect a ePrint communication status problem and try to reconnect at a later time if it has a problem?
It actually might have reconnected since I noticed it was still connected to the offramp-lb-cpg.austin.hp.com server, though the web page wouldn't change to "connected" until I powered off the printer and powered it back on again.
That makes ePrint unreliable since I have no way of knowing things aren't working unless I check the web site since all the ePrint and app functions work fine on the printer despite the "not connected" error on the web site.

Turn OFF the wireless radio from the printer menu
Turn OFF the printer and unplug the power cable from back of printer. Wait for 2 min
Reconnect the power cable and turn ON the printer
Turn ON the wireless radio
Press the ePrint button and turn OFF ePrint. Wait for 1 min
Turn ON ePrint and wait. This should print the page with new printer code automatically. Register the new code in ePrint website.

HCM Processes & Forms: Field not updating after Drop Down list selection

Hello all,
I am having a problem that I think happens a lot, but I can't solve it through all the examples given here.
I have a Drop Down List where I change the value. On the CHANGE event, I have:

ContainerFoundation_JS.SendMessageToContainer(event.target, "submit", "", "", "", "");
I have defined a User Event called GET_ORGINFO. It gets triggered fine. It moves into my generic service that I defined, and it changes the value that I want to change.
When I look at the PDF, the value is still in it's old value. So, after reading some blogs, which specifically says, if something goes wrong in one service (I have 3: my own, SAP_PA and S_MGRS_POSITIONS), they all fail. I debugged and checked, and, after some changes, nothing goes wrong anymore, nothing that I can see anyway.
So what I do see, is that there's a call made like this:
CALL METHOD me->process_data_container
    EXPORTING
      ref_to_data_container = ref_to_relevant_data_container
      operation             = c_do_operations
      message_handler       = dummy_message_handler
      no_auth_check         = no_auth_check
    IMPORTING
      is_ok                 = operation_ok.
Within this method, my new value is listed (in the table VALUES_OF_FIELDS). After this call is made, so when it exists the method process_data_container, the old values are back in VALUES_OF_FIELDS.
So, at the last moment INSIDE the method, the values are correct, as soon as it steps out of this method, the old values are back.
Does anyone have any idea? Am I doing something wrong with regards to the User Events? I am on EnhP 04.

Unfortunately, that's not it. I did check the fields I need. Everything is going ok. As in, I get the fields (with their current values) in my own generic operation. I see everything updated the way it should. But then at the end, nothing happens...
What exactly do you mean by " then make sure your own generic service has it's input/output defined correctly". What input/output do you mean? I assume the generic service itself is okay, since it works with the user event "USER_EVENT_CHECK". And it sure is possible I am forgetting something in the definition of the user event, but I can't figure out what.
A small addition*
I just checked by user event. I have 3 fields selected:
I0001_PERSG
I0001_PERSG_TXT
I0001_PERSK
The generic service should get the PERSG and PERSG_TXT based on the PERSK that is entered. I don't think I need anything more.

I need help with privileges(?) in 10.6.8. Changes to Dock, server address,bookmarks, software preferences, etc. do not stay after shut down/restart

I had been upgraded to 10.6.8 awhile ago and have had this problem ongoing since then. My company IT guy is not all that helpful or pleasant. His repsonse to my issue is "I have never seen that before".
I am unable to make lasting changes to software preferences, my dock, bookmarks (in any browser), list of recent servers, etc. Any changes that I make are rendered obsolete after a reboot.
I have tried the repair disk permissions but had no luck.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why are you saying that? AFAICT, SL is still being supported, Maybe not at the frequency level you'd prefer, but security updates are amongst the recent ones.

Skype not working after upgrading to 10.6.8

My skype stopped after I upgraded my computers to 10.6.8. I did reinstall the programme, but I am still getting a a dead white screen where skype is supposed to be.
Anybody has any ideas on how to address this?

I have a strange but related problem. Skye 2.8.0.851 has worked flawlessly for the past two years on my MacBook Pro running 10.6.8. And then yesterday, it magically stopped working. I had Skype set to log me in when launching Skype, and now, a dialogue box comes up telling me "unable to log on, check network connections". Throwing away all the Skype bits and pieces and re-installing the application does nothing. Has Skype disabled this version somehow? I'm using the correct log-in credentials, the same credentials I've been using for years; in fact ever since I joined Skype in 2007. I can't understand why it no longer works when I haven't changed a thing. Downloading version 5.6 works fine with the same log-ins, but it is so terrible as to be basically unusable. I haven't done any updating. Skype just stopped working. Just like that. Has anyone seen this? Are they no longer supporting version 2.8.0.851?

Skype not connecting to internet

When I go on Skype, it doesn't let me connect through Microsoft or Facebook. I suspect this is because of the fact that the Internet Browser on my computer doesn't work that well, and it doesn't show Facebook or Outlook. (I mainly use Chrome.)
Is there a way to change the browser or fix this issue?

Skype depends on Internet Explorer, and if this broeser is broken, the same will be the case with Skype.

Thanks! HP Pavillion dv6 notebook, prod #LT070AV. Using Windows 7 OS with all the updates current. I've had problems using the fingerprint reader since I updated to IE 10 about 3 weeks ago. I can use it to log on to the computer, but that's it.

If that happens you are either:
Attempting to delete an builtin App like Clock, Contacts, Notes, Newstand, Game Center, etc. This you cannot do. or
Have a restriction on Deleting Apps in Settings > General > Restrictions.
