Skype not working on Android phone

Since installing the latest Skype version onto my Android phone, the application will not load, and always gives the message " The application Skype (process com.skype.raider) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. I have reinstalled Skype about 10 times now, and same message over and over. The previous version of Skype worked great on the Android.
10/6: We debugged further and found that Skype will not come up on the phone as long as the wired headset is plugged in. I have to disconnect the headset, and then Skype comes up. But if you connect the wired headset, then Skype will present that "stopped unexpectedly" message. So there is an incompatibility between the latest version of Skype with the wired headset? Why??? It should support it. The previous version of Skype worked fine on my Android phone WITH the headset.
I hope a fix will be provided immediately.

hey guys....
the way to get skyp to work is by CLEARING YOUR DATA from the app.
ive got an htc evo 4g...so i goto to settings, applications, manage applications, then i find skype, and then i press the CLEAR DATA button.
after that youll be able to login just fine...
i have no idea why you have to do that to make it work...you just do, lol...
and, youll have to do it relatively often...again, i have no idea why...

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you arr having trouble with group messages. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.
iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
To resolve issues with sending and receiving iMessages, follow these steps
Check iMessage system status for current service issues.
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure that you registered iMessage with your phone number or Apple ID and that you selected iMessage for use. If the phone number or Apple ID isn't available for use, troubleshoot iMessage registration.
Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify data connectivity. If a data connection isn't available, troubleshoot cellular data or a Wi-Fi connection.
iMessage over cellular data might not be available while you're on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn which network your phone supports. If your network doesn't support simultaneous data and voice calls, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on to use iMessage while you're on a call.
Restart your device.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
If you still can't send or receive an iMessage, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that the contact you're trying to send a message to is registered with iMessage.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact in the Contacts app. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.
Back up and restore your device as new.

TOC not working on Android phone

Hi all,
Just starting to experiment with creating an Android app version of our help.
We first created an HTML5 multi screen layout
Then using File | Generate menu we created an android app having downloaded various sdk etc.
App was then transferred to an Android phone running ICS and mostly worked except TOC doesn't show second level sub entries and shows a broken link icon on the app.
Anyone experienced anythng similar or know how to fix this?

Skype not working on Windows Phone 8.1 - Lumia 920

Hi, I haven't used Skype since I installed the Windows Phone 8.1 developers preview. When I opened the Skype app today, it was like the narrator was on. It started reading the text on the screen. When I clicked on the Sign in button, it announced 'Not supported for screen reader; button' and had this pink box around the button like shown in the picture below. I tried reinstalling the app; restarting the phone; uninstalled the app, restarted the phone and then installed the app. I tried turning the narrator on and off too. But, nothing works. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I can also not get Skype to work on my Nokia Lumia 920 with Cyan. I have merged the accounts and I can Log On on Skype for PC with all the merged accounts. When I Log On the Skype app for WP8.1 it almost at once crashes and the app are useless. Please help me to solve the problem? My phone runs in Danish!

Skype not working on GE phone Dect 6.0

Worked for 4+ years but it simply stopped working. Can't log-in/log-out? Make or receive calls on this phone.
Any advise is highly appreciated on what to try to troubleshoot or where to look for troubleshotoing guide.

I am in the same boat, the phone just stopped working , changed the battery still the same issue,
tried to reset it, now its screeen showing reseting for the past 24 Hrs., called GE after going through few departments, some say it is Skype phone call skype, and the one person who tried to help could not do much as the software frozen and said for sure it is skype issue.
also if i may add, i have been using the same internet connection for the past two years, modem and all so i know it has nothing to do with the ISP.

Firefox will not appear in the Market for most phones with incompatible hardware. You can check if your phone is supported here:

Even on some supported devices, a bug in the Market software prevents Firefox from showing up. This may be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update. If you go to Settings/Applications/Market and choose "Uninstall" you can uninstall the update, and then search for and install Firefox from the marketplace.

Do MG 3120 and MG 6220 work with Android phones for wireless printing?

Hi People, I just joined this forum and hopefully some of you can tell me if the MG 6220 or MG3120 printers work with Android phones to wireless print from the phone. I looked at the specs from the Cannon website on both machines and could not find anything to answer my question. Maybe I missed it but I figured the Cannon users can point me in right direction. I love my Cannon camera and I am seriously looking at the MG series of printers for home to replace my HP printer that has lost its mojo.

We have an Android app for printing photos. The Easy PhotoPrint app is available from the Android Market or Google Play and will allow you to print photos from most Android devices with the MG3120 and MG6220.

I recently purchased new Samsung tablet 2 (10.1) which operates on Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
I have since found out that “Flash Player” will not work on Android 4.0.3
(Ice Cream Sandwich) as adobe is no longer supporting android OS above 4.0
This means I now have many “apps” that I can not us because they require

As the original poster, I too had issues with my iPhone 4 (4.2.1) and Apple TV 2 playing nice. The Airplay icon was visible for music, and worked perfectly. However, when watching a video, purchased through iTunes, only the "audio" option would be selectable for Airplay. After updating the Apple TV software, everything works perfectly well. When watching a video on my iPhone and selecting the Airplay icon, one of the options is to play "video" through the Apple TV, not simply audio.
It would have been nice to know that my Apple TV needed an update when I updated my iPhone 4 to 4.2.1.

Hold down on the home button simultaenously holding on the sleep wake button (power button) hold it for more than 15 seconds this will then shut down the device.
If the device is already shut off do this same sequence to see if you get an apple logo. If you get the logo allow the device to login. Write back if this does not resolve your issue.

As newer iPhones and iOS versions are made, apps start to drop support for the older versions of the iOS. It looks like you have fallen victim to this. I commend you for sticking with the original iPhone until now, but it looks like it's time for an upgrade if you want to use apps that have dropped support.
