Skype notifications doesn't work!

I get notifications for Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, games and everything else exept Skype! When somebody calls me, I need to be IN the Skype app and have it in front of me to get the call.
I have it set on Alert so that it says "*Person* calls you, Confirm - Cancel" or something like that, and then I need to click "Confirm" or "Cancel", that worked before, but now it doesn't work!
Can I get any help?

I have had this problem before, with no success. I think the reason is, if you don't have good internet signal, it takes about 3-5 'rings' before it actually reaches the iOS device. Then, you only have 1-2 rings before it automatically hangs up from the other end.
I think this is a fault within the app, not a problem with your device. I'm sure Skype are aware of this, and so they will most likely fix it within the next update. Be patient.

This isn't an issue. Notice the screen prior to the one that shows usage has an iCloud section and a Manage Storage button. For this button to activate ios needs to download a few kb from icloud. Switching back to this screen forces ios to download those few kb.

Push Notification doesn't work at all.

i had my iphone 4 which bought three months ago. that time i was using ios 4.3.3. however, i found that my push notification doesn't work at all. my data plan was on 24 hours. supposing there will be notificaton for apps like facebook, twitter, intsgram, talkbox and so on. however, mine doesn't work at all. i only reallise there were msg when i open the apps. I thaught it will be my ios problem. So, i decide to upgrade to ios 5 recently. However, the problem still remain the same. i'm very confirm that i had on all the push notification. i even restore for a few times just to hope that the problem can be solved. howevr, it doesn't. i found very dissapointed and frustrated with this issue. can anyone advise??
sometimes when my fren watsapp or talkbox me, i only realise when i lock in to the apps after a couple of hour which cause my thingy was delayed!

I have the exact same problem you have? I can occasionally get pushnotification, but only once a day fore facebook. For twitter, I get nothing and newer got. Other programs never got any notification att all. Push notification is on both under notification center and the respective programs.I have iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 4S.

Be sure that Push Notifications are on in Settings. If they are try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.
I can't see wy it might help but perhaps if you update your iOS to 5.1 the problem will correct itself.

Can't Join Group Chats, Can't Receive Files, and Skype Home Doesn't Work

Okay, so back when Windows 8 was newer I got my current laptop and when I saw Skype's original Windows 8 design, I said hell no to that and downloaded an earlier version of Skype instead. When Skype did that big overhaul and stopped support for all older versions, I was at least happy to see it was back to being on the desktop instead of that Windows 8 pseudo-tablet nonsense. But at the same time, I stopped getting notifications from Skype Home - it always says it's unavailable. Some time after that, in between Skype's updates, I started having trouble with Groups. Every time someone tried to add me to one, I couldn't see it, even if they said I was in it on their screen. Eventually I had to start making all Group Chats myself, because at least then it worked for me... up until the 7.7 update. Now no matter how I try to get into a Group now, it straight up doesn't work. And before I got locked out of Groups entirely, I started having issues with files, right around when the "inline photos" thing happened - they just don't work when sent to me, and I can't send them either. When people try to send them to me it's just a grey image and something about how it's not supported or it didn't go through. I've sort of just been patiently dealing with all of it until the newest update when Groups stopped working entirely and I was in the middle of trying to join an important conversation. I Googled that specific issue and found a ton of unresolved threads about it dating back to at least 2013, I believe. I tried every suggestion I could find - I restarted, uninstalled Skype, reinstalled Skype, restarted after uninstalling and then reinstalling... the list goes on. Every time I got it back, it was the same. Now I'm on Windows 8.1, and I don't know if that's related, but my boyfriend - who uses a Mac - is having none of these problems whatsoever, and he also has the latest version of Skype. With older versions of Skype not available, I ended up trying Skype Web, and it's letting me see all the Groups, which is the most important thing but I'd really prefer to go back to the desktop version. All three of my issues might be unrelated, but they've all progressed as Skype has updated so I figured I'd try to get help for all of them. I'm at my wit's end, here. I use Skype for a pretty large portion of my online communication, and being unable to use Groups or get files is really crippling the experience.

Since I'm using my new Laptop with Skype 7.0, I can't join to a group chat.
It's a public chat and joining is enabled.
With my former laptop and former Skype-Version, I never had this problem.
I could click on a link in the browser and joined to the group.
I have to chose a program.
Unfortunately Skype.exe seems not to be the right decision.
I'm asked to get a Skype-app, which I never needed with the old version.
Which kind of app do I need and how can I get the app or what else can I do?

I noticed that in the new skype 4.2.0.13-2 the sound doesn't work.
so I downgraded, but I would like to know if someone else has this problem and/or a different workaround (because I don't like downgraded programms).

This was the only change [1]. It was changed because, sound was not working properly [2-3] and what was changed was a workaround to begin with [4].
That said, skype (multilib) is working fine for me with usb headsets.

The Menu Start and Notification doesn't work and other modern apps too.

Hi guys! I have a big problem of my Windows 10. I can't use my Start Menu, Apps and Notifications it doesn't work. I don't know what is happened. Everthing was good and on the last time I have strange problems. (The Start menu logo looks like disactivated.)
I want to add that the OneDrive can't work too and I can't turn on it.

E-mail notification doesn't work after software upgrade

Based on the recommendation of a sales rep; I did the software upgrade yesterday and have had nothing but problems. All the e-mail accounts didn't work. So I spent an hour getting my e-mails setup and guess what?
Even though I have it setup to check every 10 minutes; it doesn't work. I have to manually go to each account and click on the 2 arrows to check. I used to get a flashing blue light on my phone when I had a new e-mail; now I don't.
What's going on???????????????

There is Facebook share and contacts have Facebook pictures etc but Facbook notifications don't work on my Macbook Pro. Twitter, Mail, Calendar notifications work but Facebook no...
Is there any solution? I tried 2 different Facebook account but it didn't help.

Whenever I start Facetime, my camera just shows a black screen. Same thing happens with Skype. Camera works fine by itself: taking photos, recording video. The problem is just with Facetime and Skype.

I added the Thread to my Watch list, but also wanted to get an email for each update.
I clicked link "Add Email Notification", but I don't get any email notification when it's updated.

I have a Oracle 10gR2 Version: 10.2.0.5.0. I'm having problems to receive emails notifications in a specific tablespace. I created a Rule Notification for "Tablespace Space Used (%)". I know the rule and metrics are ok. How?
1) At another tablespace, I create a specific Threshold for Tablespace Space Used (%) and I set the Warning Threshold to 1%, and Critical Threshold to 2%. After some minutes, I receive an email with the Critical message because the tablespace have a 60% of space used. I do the same test with the other tablespace and no email received.
2) I have two servers with the same database (only data changes) and in one server its works , not in the other server.
This is the information for the "bad" tablespace:

Then it should do the same in all tablespaces isn't it? Like sb92075 said: "different results occur when something is different.". The only thing different between the tablespaces is the process running on it. I have some process running in my "bad_tablespace" that it load a big amount of data. I detected when I stop all the process, I start again to receive the emails. I can't find information about that.
Could be possible the high data load of a tablespace might affect to notification emails?

Skype /callto: doesn't work with federated Lync Us...

Skype (removed for privacy) is a Lync federated user. If I call to this user "(removed for privacy) from Skype Client directly, then it works fine....

I had no issues blocking skype using the above. Created a application object and added Skype and Encrypted eMule (eDonkey, Kademlia) - Created DenySkype policy referencing the object. After this policy I allowed the following service objects tcp/eq 80, tcp/eq 443, tcp/eq 21 tcp/eq 53 udp/eq 53 (nothing squeeked by). I also created a Deny All Policy at the bottom.

Update Notification doesn't work on Oracle11g

I'm using ODP.NET 11.1.0.6.0 which is accompanied with Oracle11gR1.
When I use OracleDependency to get update notification,
There are 2 problems:
1. I can't receive update notification, when I change data.
2.Port property of OracleDependency doesn't affect listening port.
I checked by netstat.

I even tried DFU mode - to no luck! Gutted about this, because otherwise its perfect... but I am beginning to suspect something is really wrong with it now.
Well, there is good news - I called Apple, spoke to a fantastic chap called DJ and he's sorting out a replacement for me. I can't afford to be without my iPhone, so paid the fee to get a replacement sent out first. I guess these things happen, and better to sort it out in warranty, than out of.
But seriously, nobody experienced this at all??
