It depends on whether you are in the United States (Or your computer is set to make out it is in the United States)
The More common method is to Add the US Phone number (cell or Mobile) as an AIM Buddy to the Buddy List with a Leading +1 for the country code (Although the +1 refers to the States no other country has ever been added)
The Phone involved also has to be on a US carrier that supports the SMS forwarding from AIM.
I know of one person in Japan who sets his computer to "be In" the United States and sends SMS messages to friends phones in the States.
Also check the iChat Menu > Preference > General Section
This should list iChat as the default App for IMs (which in this case will also include SMS)

PO form without vendor number and address

Dear experts,
I have an issue, few PO's which sent to the vendor via e-mail are sending with vendor number and vendor address. I have checked the vendor master there vendor address is maintained.
Can any help me on it, what might be the problem? When I check the sost for the PO, there po is displaying with the blank vendor number and address.

I would like to get a skype number and get a yearly subscription for unlimited calling to america. I understand that there is a discount for doing them together though I cant seem to find what it is and how much it will cost me monthly for such a plan.
Also am I correct that I can use the above plan with my smart phone?

You can get a discount when you purchase a Skype Number depending on which subscription duration you prefer. However, this may only happen if you have an active calling subscription during your purchase.

Address number , person number and address type in Ship to address

We are working on SRM 6.0.
In our system we have ship to address as partner function 27 in shopping cart line item .
If all the line items in the same shopping cart have same address then also we are getting different address number , person number and address type in the partner functions of SC line items.
In ship to partner function, how the address number , person number and address type is decided?

Ship to address no is set up at company level - you can also create a ship to address and you can main in the attribute ship to address.
if you enter the ship to address manually then new address number might be created.
What is the setting in your existing system.
for eg. create a sc with 2 line item let one from inherited ship to address and anothe ritem you undo them and enter new address.
and click partner function 27 for line item 1 and 2 in the bbp_pd and it takes you to crmd_partner table and show you different address no.

It is because you don't have an active Skype subscription on your account.
Only ACTIVE subscription allows you to receive a discount on your Skype Number.

Hello, A short assistance please.So, I understand that skype number fowards calls.Also, that a skype number is associated with a skype account. My questions: is it possible to forward the calls made to the skype number to one (cell) number and the ones to the skype account to different cell? *Or because the skype number and the skype account are associated to one another- I can only foward calls to one (Cell) phone. So lets say I have a skype account: ABCand a skype number that is associated to it: 123 Can I have calls to ABS forwarded to cell number A1and calls to 123 forwarded to call number A2? Hello community, I am a new member to Skype. I'm a bit confused about the fees and subscriptions. I was about to purchase my Skype number and once it got to the payment screen, I saw that it read, "Skype number, 3 month subcription, etc." So my question is, are the monthly subscription rate and Skype number separate fees?
Am I to pay for the Skype number AND minute package every 3 months, together?

A Skype Number is for you to receive inbound calls from your contacts. You can't make calls from one. Contracts are for either 3 or 12 months.
If you just want to make calls you don't need a Skype Number.
Calling Subscriptions are monthly with discounts for longer term commitments.

I wanted to know once I have a Skype Number, and someone calls me, do I pay any additional cost for the phone call besides the 18 dollars for the number if the person I am talking to is in the United States and the Skype Number is a US number?

Skype numbers and credit are tied to the account. If you add an additional Skype number or replace the number with a new one when the old one expires, then the credit won't change since it's still tied to the account. If you want to transfer the credit from one account to another then as far as I know, it's not possible on standard accounts. If you recently purchased credit within the past 15 days that you didn't use, you could request a refund. You could then apply the money from the refund towards credit on another account.

EDIDC - Control data where we can get the IDOC numbers associated to message type with status codes.
Where as EDIDD is the structure. Can you explain me the tables involved in retrieving the BP numbers for a particular IDOC number associated to message type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M?

Someone in Costa Rica dialed my "skype" number (Miami, Fl area code) and it was answered on a land line in the States...thought my number was unique to my "skype" accoount?????????? How was this possible?

Strange numbers calling my Skype number and leavin...

I am getting frequent calls from numbers of format s121732062526477 and leaving video messages sometimes for over 30 min. I can't tell if they are draining my account.
I supposed I could turn off voicemail but I got it for a reason.

Please check this first: in the Windows version of the Skype client software,
Tools -> Options -> Calls -> be sure that Allow calls to my Skype number(s) from... anyone is ticked or checked in -> Save.
Please try your tests again, ensuring that your mobile phone is not already signed on to Skype at the same time.
