Skype on Sony BDP-S780 "Downloading Contacts'

My Sony BDP-S780 Blu-ray player has Skype embedded a little while ago (and for no reason) Skype just stopped working and sits on a screen saying "Downloading contacts" whenever I try to sign-in.
I've tried
- Full factory reset
- Changing region to US
- Changing region to UK
- Using different Skype accounts
All to no avail. Any ideas on what's going on here and more importantly what I do to fix it?

Which Sony model TV do you have and which camera are you using?

Error while downloading Contacts from R/3 to CRM system

Hi All,
I am trying to download Contacts from R/3 to CRM system.
Through Initial Download. For this i have set filters through Tcode: R3AC1
as on KNVP and KNVV for the field VKORG.
As we have our requirement to download contacts based on or differentiating
on 'Sales Org".
We have downloaded our Accounts properly without any errors.
But for Contacts we are facing issues such as one or more extra
relationships are getting created between Contacts and Accounts other than
its original Contacts.
Means already existing contacts are creating more relationships after
download.
But a unique feature is visible for all, All those with false
contact-account relationships.
Contact has field value for 'Address type' missing while the same address
type field is properly added for correct relationships. ( please find attached the screenshot of the same)
Any pointers in which direction we should proceed for the solution would be
appreciated.

Sometimes the RFC connection is refused and use to give that particular error messgae due to:
The old RFC library having version 6.20 automatically converted the
password into uppercase with a size limit of 8 characters before sending it to the SAP system.
The RFC library version 6.40 does not perform this conversion any more, because mixed case passwords upto 40 characters are now supported by SAP Basis version 7.00 (eg. NW2004s) and above.
So need to use upper case passwords when connecting to an SAP system having version less than 7.00.
But this is not valid in this scenario.

You connect the iPhone to the MBP using the supplied cable and set up the iPhone in iTunes to sync your contacts. Posting in the iPhone forums might be a better venue for you.

You shouldn't need any application except what you already have: iMovie, iDVD, iPhoto....

Some formats are not readable by the above; you can use something like MPEG Streamclip to convert the footage or Quicktime Pro (as mentioned in one of the articles).

Well sort of Outlook Express. Outlook Express uses the windows built in Windows Address Book (found in Accessories). And you can sync with the Windows Address Book (as I do).

Trouble downloading contacts

I'm able to download contacts. However, they're not complete. Missing addresses and some phone #'s. When updating ipod this window appears: "The iPod cannot be updated. An unknown error occurred (-50)". Everything else downloads fine though (music and pics).
I thought it may be a problem with available space, so I updated with far less music and photos. Even with over a gig of space left contacts still weren't complete. I also tried resetting the ipod. Nothing.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I was having the same problem. Not all my contacts were syncing. This is what I found on it: "Contacts must have an email address in order to be synced from Microsoft Outlook."

Skype crashes on hungarian android when contacting...

skype crashes when im trying to contact my daughter, who i talk with the most frequently from my contacts. I can message and call everybody from my contact list, except for her. when tapping her name, skype closes and the option to send a crash report apeeras. I tried deleting her from my contacts list, and when I try to add her again, the same crash occurs and I cant add her anymore. she can call and videocall me with no problem. This crash only occurs when my tablet is set to hungarian language. If set to english, everything works perfectly fine.
Im using a samsung galaxy tab 2 with android 4.4.2
skype version is the latest, 5.3.0.65524
details about the crash report: package com.skype.raider v.8414812
does anybody have this problem?

Have you got age restrictions set in Settings > General > Restrictions so that the app is being hidden when it's downloaded ?

3.0 won't download contacts

uploaded 3.0 on my I-pnone. Will not download contacts from my exchange server.
Will find comtacts when composing an email but not SMS or in phone contacts.
Favorite NUMBERS are still in favorites but not their names???????
Also no spot search...

I had the same thing happen to me when I tried to upgrade to 3.0. Then I read on one of the posts that every time you upgrade or anything from itunes it marks your registry, and you had to go in and delete the multiple registry entries, I tried that and still didn't work. Finally I just backed up all the music and stuff, formatted my computer, download itunes 8.1 and did a restore of the 2. whatever software and had no problem restoring after that. But I haven't tried to upgrade to the 8.2 itunes yet or the do the software upgrade of 3.0 again, I figured I would just wait for the bug fixes before I did that again.
