Skype opens ad every time mouse hovers over it

Basically, there is this Microsoft tablet ad on skype and every time I hover my mouse on it, it opens the ad. I tried to move my mouse over it constantly and I ended up with hundreds of tabs on chrome and my PC froze for a few minutes then chrome crashed. I have a game window open on my main monitor and chrome on my third monitor and I constantly move between them which causes the ad to keep opening since skype is slightly in between the two. Also the ad opens even when the skype window isn't active. Any way to fix this or is it intentional? Because if it's intentional then I'll have to look for a new VoIP software.

I was using google as home startup page. I tried to change startup page default setting, but did not type in a correct url address, then could not get back the right menu to correct problem. After this when I opened firefox I got the problem with url address window, Tried typing about: home in url bar but received same message. Finally decided to try system reset. Started working but then said something like This is embarrising but we cannot reset because we cannot locate windows components and something else. You may have too many tabs open. Try closing some or close and open new browsing session. Tried all that but nothing happened. Kept receiving same message. After that I was pretty discouraged and for the hell of restarted laptop and made Bing my homepage. Don't exactly know why, but everything is now working fine. When I open firefox bing pops up with no problems, and when I go to my email there are no messages from firefox to draft anything. Go figure. Thanks for trying to help. bwebb

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Since you didn't include any pertinent info such as the Mac model and OS version you are running, here is some general information:
Mac OS X: Gray screen appears during startup
Depending on which OS yours came with originally - and which OS you are now running - you would either need your original install disks - you can call Apple for replacements by giving them your serial number. Data point display when mouse hovers over data point in TCODE QGC1

I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do but the way you have went about doing things is not the way to code in LV. Fist off break your code into functional blocks and use these functional blocks as Subvi's. This will make your block diagram easier to read. Once you do this you can get rid of a lot of code. Also you need to learn how to use the event structure, right now the way your code is set up to use it is not correct. Have a look at the examples that ship with LV. i am not even going to begin to try to understand your code because the diagram is so large. Please do not take all of this the wrong way I am not trying to be hard on you or anything, I am just giving you some constructive criticism..
Break your code down into functional blocks and use subvi's to perform those blocks of code.
Have a look at the examples on how to use an event structure.
Have a look at state machines
You would also benefit from getting the book called Labview for everyone, third edition, jeffrey travis and james kring.
You have a lot going on in this VI. Use the eventstucture to your advantage instead of as a hinderence like it is now. the way your code is set up now everything runs in your while loop, then it waits for an event to fire. in your case the while loop will not run again until the mouse moves over the waveform chart. You are on the right track, you just need to get some fundamental basics down and you will figure out what is going on.

First try killing Words. When on the home screen double press the HOME button, then swipe the screen image of Words up to close it.
Next, reset your iPhone by holding HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears. If the problem is not resolved delete the app from your phone, reset the phone again, then reinstall the app.

Docky on LXDE/OpenBox crashes when mouse hovers over dock

If you are still on this issue, I suggest you check out your fonts. Had you been fooling with them?
I once rebuilt my entire OS due to this problem a couple of years ago. It popped up again yesterday and I determined to find the issue.
It was my fonts. I use Funtoo (I used to use ArchLinuxArm so I'm registered here) and just prior to the problem I was fooling with the infinality/lcdfilter settings. After chasing my tail all day today I went and changed some font settings and that was it! For me the same issue occurred whenever I tried to add the weather icon, the best thing about Docky.
I had been fooling with the fonts 2 years ago too...
An ominous and unhelpful error message to be sure.

Why is there no time indicator where my mouse hovers over the clip or even in the video pane when I play a clip?

I've used a few other video editors and all of them showed some sort of time indicator of where my mouse was when I hovered over the clip for precise editing and/or at least a time of where the video was in it's play time. Idk the exact terms for these indicators but I want to know why there's not one in iMovie and if there is, how to enable it.

You do get a display of the start time of each clip in iMovie 10 if you are not using a wrapped timeline but it is poor compared to previous versions and of course FCP.

How to make hovering over menu buttons like history, bookmarks and options, open thier expanded menu without hovering over the arrow next to them?

I'm at the tail-end of the "fix the newest update" and the last thing i wanna do before i head out the door is make it so that when i open the menu and hover over the things like history bookmarks and options, that their sub menus open when my mouse is hovering over the words or the arrows. right now the sub menus only open when i hover over the arrows.
I wanna make the words and their arrows a single button with the functional purpose of both.

It sounds like you have a third party program that has taken over your search engine, home page, and/or the default new tab page. Fortunately, this can be remedied easily:
# At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP), and then click Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open.
# In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Extensions panel.
# Select the toolbar you wish to remove.
# Click the remove button.
# Click "Restart now" if it pops up. Your tabs will be saved and restored after the restart.
After Firefox restarts, install the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/ Search Reset Tool]. This will remove the rest of the traces of this program from your Firefox.

I updated Firefox. Now, I can't get rid of the blue box saying drag drag the icon to the applications folder. Plus another icon to 'eject' firefox opens. Every time I open firefox, they show up. Even Apple Help could not fix it.

I can close the little blue 'drag' box every time I open Firefox, but that is a hassle, and I know it should not be necessary. When I try to eject the 'peripheral' icon, it says I cannot because Firefox is in use. I have to wait until I close Firefox to be able to eject it off the desktop.

Installed Java - Terminal now opens automatically every time I open my computer. I deleted Java 7 application, but now terminal still pops up. Why? How can I get it to stop?

I installed Java 7. Suddenly, Terminal bounced open every time I logged into my computer after that + the program I needed to run with Java didn't work, so I uninstalled Java 7. I have no Java, but Terminal bounces open - still. It never did before. I need the old version of Java to run my grading program, but I'm afraid to install Java 6 because I don't want anything new to "bounce" in. If I install Java 6 will it get rid of this Terminal application from bouncing in and will the Java 6 work?

I already looked into that - "open at login" was not checked. Thank you though.

Does PSE13 download photos in the order they are taken on that date and show actual time when hovering over the photo as it did in PSE6?

In my work, I need to be able to look at photos I took throughout the day at various locations and group them by the time I was there on that date to distinguish the different properties I am taking photos of. In my previous version of PSE6, when the day's pictures were downloaded, they were downloaded to the computer in the order I took them, and if you hovered over the picture it would show the time the photo was taken. I just need a program that will organize in that fashion. I do not need a lot of editing options, more the organizational options.

If you are happy with PSE 6, why not continue to use it?
PSE 13 can display the images in date/time order like PSE 6 does. The time doesn't appear when you hover over a thumbnail but can be displayed below the thumbnail. The best thing is for you to download the trial version (select version 13 from the following link) and try it for 30 days to see if you like it.

If you use the trial, to see the date and time under each thumbnail you need to go to the View menu in the organizer and ensure that Details is checked.

How to get new project page on opening garageband every time?

sorry if this has been asked a million times before, but is there a way to get garageband to come up with the page asking me to make a new project every time i open it (rather than taking me to the last one opened)?
i work at a college and stuidents share machines and use a generic "student" account, so if they use garageband they will open it up and the last person's project will open up automatically (which may not be theirs). occasionally it just comes up with the "make new project" page. can't find anything in preferences.
any ideas?
