Skype phone number with cordless phone

Has anyone used this? How is the quality and how much does it cost to make calls worldwide? I currently use Skype when I can (when the other party has Skype), but I have Vonage with my small business and I need to make international calls. I am trying to decide if it would be smart to switch to the Skype phone service. Any advice/help would be great. Thanks.

Hello pepson93! The Samsung Fascinate is a CDMA only device, which makes it great for use in areas were CDMA signal is available. Unfortunately, the country of Poland does not have CDMA service providers so the Fascinate will not work there. I recommend seeking options for equipment with your local carriers. Best of luck!

My skype phone number shows incorrectly on the per...

When I call someone from my Skype app on my computer and that includes my cell phone, the number that comes up on my cell phone caller ID and the people I call is NOT my Skype number so those people I call never answer their phone because they don't recognize that its me. The number that they see and I see on my cell phone is very different as in a number with an area code in California and I live in NC. What is causing this and why is it occuring?
By the way I do have the latest version of Skype on my Mac.

What do I do about strange and different numbers appearing when I call someone. I live in New Mexico, my fake number has been in Florida, California, and "unknown" ( the one that no one picks up. I work in dog rescue. Important people answer, sometimes life and death. I pay for skype number. I also pay for Skype on the Go and cannot text from my computer. What's up? And help.

Freetalk Office Phone & Skype Online Number

When reviewing the product description for the Freetalk Office Phone, it was unclear to me whether or not the phone will work with your Skype Online Number. For example, if someone calls my online number then will the Freetalk Office Phone ring?? Also if I call someone from the Freetalk Office Phone then will they see my Skype Online Number on the caller ID?

Hi, If you buy a Skype phone and an online number anyone who calls it either from a landline, mobile or Skype ID, the phone will ring. If you are signed on on another device be it a computer or IPhone app all devices will ring. As long as the Skype phone is switched on and has Internet connection it will be online 24 x 7. My credit card was lost and subsequently replaced. I forgot to provide Skype with the details of the replacement card. Subsequently my Skype phone number was cancelled. Is it possible to get that same number back and how do I do it. Would appreciate some help thank you J

GE - SKYPE - Dect 6.0 Cordless phone doesn't compl...

Hi,
Two days ago, my skype phone model "GE - SKYPE - Dect 6.0 Cordless phone" stopped to complete calls. Weirdly skype (PC version) was with the same problem that day.
The call rings but when the other side answer, both sides can't hear nothing.
Today PC version is working normally however GE phone doesn't work anymore. I have tried other land numbers, but it doesn't work, people get the phone, but we can't hear each other.
I'm wondering if this kind of cordless skype phone has a expiration date of usage, even if is an old phone I believe that Skype should give support for this products.
Coincidence or not, Skype has just announced a new GE cordless phone (GE Digital Cordless Expandable Telephone)
I'm posing here because I can't find any other place to contact skype.

Receiving sms to skype phone number

Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to receive SMS texts to your skype phone number? I have a phone number associated with my skype account and would like to send as well as receive to this number.

This does not work for me.
I am on Skype 5.7.0.1130 for the Mac.

I click on the "Set Number..." dropdown menu and type in my mobile phone number. I keep getting the message that "Error on sending code to mobile phone" etc.
Now -- perhaps this is my issue, I have a brand new Skype mobile phone number for Germany. So new that I just got it two days ago. I was expecting to be able to send and receive text messages on this -- primarily from my bank and places like that which send you secret codes to your SMS when you are trying to log in. Does this work? Can it work? Why is it so hard to actually talk to a Skype Customer Support person??

Possible to obtain phone IMEI number with flex mobile project?

Just like the title says, is it possible to obtain phone IMEI number with flex mobile project? If not, does anyone know of another method to get a unique number to identify the phone being used (on android and iphone)? I'm asking because I'm building a chat application, and I need a way to potentially ban users based on something other than an IP address.
edit: now that I think about it, an IMEI number might not be the best way, since wifi tablets may not hav an IMEI number, anyone have any other idea how I could get a number to identify a device that would already be present, because i'm afraid if its something generated by me, a simple uninstall and re-install could circumvent a ban.

I have verified that it does work and provides the IMEI. For cases where there is no IMEI ( bc the device is not a mobile phone, or it uses IMSI instead ), you can just bypass the device id check with your database, and enable full functionality.
Although this is not full-proof, it will nevertheless screen a lot of devices. With this, you can keep track of the number of app installs / resets, and add a 'banned' flag if you want to in your DB -- if you see unusal activity ( like: unsually high number of re-installs ).

I have verified that the iOS part works, but haven't tried the Android side, yet. Note: for iOS, it will also give you a UUID ( even though the object tag claims it is the UDID -- it's not ), which is worthless as a persistent means of identifying the device. since it gets reset on each app re-install. So, for iOS, you have to use the MAC address, unless you are willing to store/restore the UUID into EncryptedLocalStore, as suggested by a user in:

Maybe. Your phone should have settings to set forwarding for all calls to your T-Mobile number. If you enable that, your T-Mobile phone won't ring anymore, but you could still use your phone to make calls and for sending/receiving SMS or MMS messages.
If you are asking about forwarding calls when the mobile phone is on but you don't answer the phone, instead of those calls going to a T-Mobile voicemail system, you *may* be able to change that. T-Mobile doesn't let you do that on a prepaid phone, and that appears to be the same if you use some other prepaid services that ride on T-Mobile's network like Straight Talk. It may be possible on a postpaid plan (one where you get a monthly invoice to pay).
As for what T-Mobile would charge, you'd have to check on your plan or contact T-Mobile. Some plans have unlimited calling that includes call-forwarding, others only provide for a certain number of minutes for call-forwarded calls a month, and then there are some "plans" that make you pay for anything that is call-forwarded from your T-Mobile number. The T-Mobile web site may be able to help answer that, or a call to their customer service number will need to be made.

The one that wasn't working had a 4G LTE SIM card in it. It should have usable in the replacement Razr. It was only until I read the OP a third time this morning that there might be a third device involved. It would be nice if people would give more specifics on what devices are active at what time.
