Skype Premium Issue

I recently purchased Skype Premium and I go on Skype calls every single day with 3-6 people. We tend to fall asleep on Skype late at night, and we repeatedly will get displeased with what happens over the night. Our video will turn off, and then I will get a message letting me know that I have used the "4 hour limit". When we turn our video back on, I later get a message saying that I have used the "10 hour limit". Right now, our video will not go back on at all because apparently we have used our "100 hour limit for the month". I am very displeased due to this issue. I purchased Skype Premium so that my friends and I were able to group call 24/7. I thought Skype Premium came with unlimited minutes so I am very, very confused. When I try to purchase it again, it tells me I have already purchased it, so what do I do? Please help.

It's because of the Fair Usage Policy of Skype but I don't know that it's just 100 hours per month. : /

  • Skype Premium Purchasing Issue?

    Every time I try and purchase the Skype Premium 3-month subscription, it redirects me and says page not found. It's also not working for a friend of mine who lives across the country, so I'm pretty sure it's a problem with skype itself.
    Any ETA on when this can be resolved?? Thanks!

    I am trying to purchase a subscription for cheaper calling rates and it is not letting me. It sends me to an error page stating the page I am looking for could not be found.

  • Problem purchasing Skype premium

    I am having serious difficulties purchasing Skype premium. 
    Following my participation in an academic congress in China last year, my Skype account has accidently become associated with Skype's Chinese partner Tom Online. When I now try to purchase Skype Premium from skype.com, I am redirected to Tom Online's Chinese website. 
    I initially thought that I could resolve the issue by contacting Skype's customer service, but this appears not to be the case. The advice that I have been given is that I should contact Tom Online in order to address the issue, or register an new Skype account. The replies that I have receieved from Skype's customer service are generally rather incoherent, each time written by a different person and often a cut & paste of pre-written text that is only tangentially relevant to the problem. 
    Might there any way for me, as a European business customer, to purchase Skype Premium without having to interact with Skype's Chinese partner or registering a new Skype account? If so, I would be most grateful.

    I would first recommend checking your call history here:

    If call history shows that destination was recognized as Israel landline number then customer service will need to investigate why subscription didn't cover it.

    Hi, I am unable to cancel Skype Premium subscription. When I go to Group Video->Change Subscription Settings-> It returns page cannot be displayed page. I tried it 3 different systems, but same message. Please help. Regards.

  • Skype Premium Account; still getting pop-up ads.

    Ads are popping up in the client for Skype credit and Skype premium, despite having a paid premium account in good standing.  I contacted support and was told by two different agents that I had to purchase Skype credit on top of the Premium account to get rid of these ads. 
    http://www.skype.com/en/premium/ specifically states that a Premium Account has NO advertisements, not SOME advertisements.  This smacks of false advertising.
    In addition, I get an error pop up in the client if I try to save my options settings with call forwarding enabled that states "You need to have some Skype Credit to forward calls to mobiles or landlines" despite that being included in my premium subscription.  I can set up call forwarding via the website with no trouble, and it works fine, but then I am unable to change my skype settings without deactivating it and going through the whole process again to get it active.

    Neither of the above. Once the person hosting the call uses up their 10 hour allowance the call will be automatically terminated. To resume the call the other party can then become the host by instigating the call.

  • Skype Premium with Unlimited World

    I have a Skype Premium account with Unlimited World.
    I received an email like many others detailing the changes to Skype Premium, and that I would continue to receive my Unlimited World subscription.
    However since receiving that email, I have no Unlimited World subscription listed in my account, and I am not able to make calls.
    A chat with online support said they were aware of the issue and were rolling it out to users accounts in phases to prevent "server crashes and overloads".
    True or not?
    I am also due to be billed on my account for £7.46 on December 25th, but apparently Skypes billing cycle is 8 months and I won't actually be changed anything.
    Again, true or not?

    Same here.  I was paying/subscribing an unlimited country previously.  I received the free upgrade to Unlimited World as well.  But right now, I can't even make phone calls to the numbers in my previous unlimited country.  I got 'insufficient credit'.  message.

    Anybody knows what I should do?
    And, is there a way to 'talk' to Skype support via online?

  • Some thing is wrong with my skype premium.

    I just bought skype premium and the promotion promised unlimited calls to the US and Canada, but when I try to make a call it says connecting and then disconects and tries to sell me skype credit. Other than the calls to the US there was no reason to upgrade to Premium for me. Also does skype seriously not have actual tech support.

    Since you managed to sign in with the right account to this forum please open Skype client on your computer and sign out. Then sign in again with the exact username you used for this forum.
    Note: Make sure you have the latest Skype from: www.skype.com/go/downloading
    If you can't for some reason sign in with the correct account then please try to provide more information, like are you getting any errors? Did you manage to sign out?

  • Skype premium active but unable to call

    I'd love it if you all had a number or email address to contact for customer support. Digging through multiple levels of links to find a place to post a question is frustrating.
    I purchased skype premium and it reads as active on my account, yet when I try to make calls to a phone number, it says that I have insufficient credit to make the call, which from my understanding shouldn't happen.
    Any suggestions?
