Skype Premium with Unlimited Calls

I have Skype Premium active but I can't find the country where I can get unlimited calls. Is there a way for this to be listed on Skype website or the Skype desktop client?

I did not disclose the e-mail address, because I made the corresponding reclamation and a proposal and they promised to publish a customer service e-mail address himself.

    I've been subscribed to Skype premium with unlimited world for a long time now, then just got an email a few days ago, saying I got a free upgrade, and now I can't make any calls - tells me I have to 'buy credit' every time I try making any call I used to make included in my package... What happened?? I'm very frustrated.

    I am Premium subscriber and received the email saying free world access but when I try to ring Italy it asks for a payment.  Do I have to activate something?  Any help would be appreciated

    I have a Skype Premium account with Unlimited World.
    I received an email like many others detailing the changes to Skype Premium, and that I would continue to receive my Unlimited World subscription.
    However since receiving that email, I have no Unlimited World subscription listed in my account, and I am not able to make calls.
    A chat with online support said they were aware of the issue and were rolling it out to users accounts in phases to prevent "server crashes and overloads".
    True or not?
    I am also due to be billed on my account for £7.46 on December 25th, but apparently Skypes billing cycle is 8 months and I won't actually be changed anything.
    Again, true or not?

    Same here.  I was paying/subscribing an unlimited country previously.  I received the free upgrade to Unlimited World as well.  But right now, I can't even make phone calls to the numbers in my previous unlimited country.  I got 'insufficient credit'.  message.

    Anybody knows what I should do?
    And, is there a way to 'talk' to Skype support via online?

    Hi,
    I have skype premium with unlimited calls to mobiles and landlines phones to France.
    However, I am still getting charged when calling cellphones (I am getting charged on my skype credit)

    You guys claim that by getting skype premium I have unlimited calls (mobile and landlines) toward any of the country in the list.
    Why am I still getting charged?

    If Hungary is your selected country for telephone calling with Skype Premium, the subscription only covers calling to landline phones.  Click on "Skype Premium" below and then expand the list of countries you can choose from when calling telephones.  Only 4 countries have calling for both landline and mobile phones covered (USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore). 
    You would need to either purchase Skype Credit or a country-specific subscription that also covers calling to mobile phones in that case (click on "Subscriptions" below to see the options for Hungary, or other countries).  When using Skype Credit to pay for calls to telephones, there is a connection fee charged per call along with the per-minute rate.  This is detailed on the "Pay As You Go" link below.

    Hi, some one is trying to buy skype premium with my skype credit but since i have not filled in my credit the payment failed. In my purchase history shows 5 purchase attempt and I have received 5 email from skype about payment fail. I don't have purchased anything and I want this to stop.

    The only way that would be occurring is if someone has access to your Skype account.  I would suggest you change  your password immediately.  Log into your account and make sure no other email/Microsoft accounts are linked to your Skype account as well.

    Skype Premium allows one country to be selected for unlimited calling.  If we purchase one month of Skype Premium for a Skype Business user, with no auto-renewal, once the Premium subscription expires after one month, can that same user be assigned Premium again, this time chosing a different country for unlimited calling?

    I use my skype account to call the Philippines (a landline) but this country is not included in the list associated with Unlimited World, so I purchase credits to pay for calls. Is there any other reason I need to keep my premium subscription, if all I want to do is continue to call the Philippines (with a few other US based skype colleagues).

  • Skype premium making free calls to the USA

    Hello everybody
    I have skype premium for a month offered by Skype, and I'm wondering why am I being able to call to USA's mobiles for free. I checked on my skype account, and not a cent in being charged, although I can not call to anywhere else in the world. If I don't have any skype credits, is there any way they are charging me for those calls to the USA??
    Does skype premium have that thing that I can call for free to a country I choose?? I may have chosen USA and I don't remember maybe??
    I keep looking on my Account witch country I've chosen for free calls, but I can't find it..

  • Skype Premium - Improved group calling?

    Hi there,
    I regularly host Skype calls with 6-8 people across four continents (US, UK, East Africa and SE Asia). The sound quality is okay, but when the number of participants goes over 5+ people our calls tend to get dropped after a few minutes. It is a frustrating process of dialing back in.
    I am thinking of upgrading to Skype Premium. I'm not interested in the video conferencing feature (the bandwith of my colleagues in Africa and Asia won't support that), but I am wondering whether the upgrade will improve our dropped calls situation?
    Otherwise, does Skype have any other products or solutions to improve group calling or improve call quality in general?

    Skype Premium would not affect quality of your audio only group calls. So if you are not into group video calling, the live chat customer service option or advertising removal Skype Premium is not something for you.

    Please note that Skype subscriptions are recurring by default.
    This means that, unless you cancel your payment agreement, the system will automatically charge you to renew it.
    I checked your account and can confirm that your subscription is still set to recur automatically. You do not have to take any action on your end if you still wish to continue using it.

  • Skype Advice With Group Calls Please

    Hello I was hoping you maybe to answer some questions on skype for me please.  I am hoping to use skype as a replacement to online webinar software.
    I am using grop conference video calls. Can you please confirm I can have a max of 10 people? Is that likely to increase in the future?
    Some of the participants are using laptops/desktops and others are using ipads/iphones. I understand that those on ipads/iphones can't see the video but will the people of laptops/desktops still see the video? Are there any other issues or actions that may occur when there is a mix of devices connected to the group call?
    If I (using skype on a desktop) invite the participants to the group call and after I lose connection or hangup will the group call still be working for the rest of the participants?
    What happens if someone who has been invited to the group call loses connection and leaves the group call for whatever reason will they be able to join automatically? or do they need to be reinvited again?

    Hi and welcome to the Skype Community,
    Current participant limit for group video calling is 10. Skype does not share any forward looking statements when that will increase, but this figure is being reviewed constantly as network parameters and hardware evolve.
    If users on platforms not supporting group video calling are participating, they won't see video or screen share, but participants on other clients still can. No further limitations beyond that.
    If the connection of the group video call host (the user who initiated the group call) drops the call will drop for everyone. The conversation will stay in the "Recent" listing though so it can be easily restarted and participants can easily join that way.

    To avail of the free unlimited calling subscription to the country of your choice is only available during your Skype Premium purchase. Since you already made the purchase and was not able to add unlimited calling subscription, I'd recommend that you contact Skype Customer Service.
    They will review the purchase if it can still be refunded and will help you further in making the correct purchase of Skype Premium with unlimited subscription to France.

  • Skype premium and 'reward' of Unlimited World subs...

    Reward for existing Skype Premium Subscribers?
    When I saw the May 2014 email about Premium changing and premium subscribers being 'rewarded', I thought it was great because we have family outside of the USA but the way this has been handled was not the best and now we have a mess with my account and support doesn't seem equipped to help. Here is my history...
    Watched my Paypal Charged for the Unlimited World - (a charge that I did not request)
    My account has been in a state since 14 May myself - I saw a charge as it was applied to my Paypal account, it was for the unlimited world subscription that I did not purchase. I immediately contacted skype and Skype Support offered to refund that money and the switch to Unlimited World would happen soon after without any charges.
    Endless Support Conversations
    Now, I have been having chat's and exchanging emails with Skype because I was told:
    1. I would automatically be switched to Unlimited World (as noted above) but this did not happen
    2. Then, I was told I would NOT be switched until Renewal. (support provided a link that explained this)0
    3. Then, I was told I would and already had been switched to unlimited world - which is not true
    4. Puchase History Descrepency - I've provided details that my Skype Purchase History shows fewer transactions than my Paypal account (as in charges and refunds from Skype). Skype history shows a refund only, Paypal shows a charge and a refund on the same day!
    The Support discussions are difficult:
    1. Partly because the english used is volumous but hard to understand (ESL, I have to think)
    2. Partly because each person seems to assure me things either are fixed (unsatisfactorily) or will be fixed (satisfactorily) - and this issue has not been resolved.
    3. Partly because each person doesn't seem to have a complete picture of the problem I have been describing.
    Each time, we seem to discuss some smaller details instead of the real issue.
    I've been using skype for over 10 years now and the change since Microsoft has taken over is very strange on the support side.
    Has anyone else had such problems or noticed such a change with Skype (which used to be somewhat hip and cool)?

    Skype user from nearly the beginning! Loved the early Skype, challenges and all. (Have been a member of nearly all versions of Skype forums over the years but history has been forgotten.)

    I believe the objective and query of my communications both here and with both Skype Support Live Chat and Skype Support by email has been clear from the beginning - I have been asking "when" the Skype Unlimited World Calling would be added to my Skype Premium account as noted in the May 2014 email saying Premium subscriptions would be rewarded - Noting that I had made a call to Spain and saw my credit being deducted when I expected the Unlimited World Subscription might have been applied (which I thought was a great reward).
    Overall, I don't think this is a terribly difficult issue, at least not until I got involved with Skype's various support representatves. Here is a brief summary, chronologically (summarised because there have been more the 5 exchanges with Support so far):
    1. When? - Looking for a time when the Unlimited World Calling would be applied to my account.
    2. Charge/Refund? - Asking that an unrequested charge against my account be explained and then accepting the offer of Skype support to refund that money and being told the Unlimited World Calling would be applied to my account in some time.
    3. Support says 'Resvoled' - Looking for the Unlimited World Calling some time later, being told that it HAS been applied when it was not.
    4. Please Verify - Asking for Support to check my account to verify that the Unlimited World Calling WAS actually applied to my account because I could not see it.
    5. Descrepency - I then pointed out to Skype Support that I now see a descrepency between what I see on my Skype Purchase History vs. my Paypal Charge/Refund history.
    All of the above is in the interest of the conversion from my current Preimium with a single country subscription to the Unlimited World Calling subscription.
    Below is the response to my last query (that covered both 4 and 5 above) but I maintained that my over arching goal was as I stated at the top of this post (yet again):
    We appreciate your response.
    We understand that you are confused about the charges that you got last December 17, 2013 for the Skype premium subscription for £41.262 and another charged last may14, 2014 for the Unlimited World 12 months with the same cost.
    Here is the explanation about that.
    The Skype premium that you have purchased last December 17, 2014 is a bundled subscription. Meaning aside from the group video calling feature, it also have the Unlimited World 12 months that you can use to call other countries for the amount of £41.262 instead of £86.76.
    However, Group Video Calling is now free and Group Video Calling is the main feature of Skype Premium. Skype replace your calling subscription that was bundled to your Skype premium with Unlimited World 12 months. That is why it has the same price as your old Skype Premium subscription.
    Also the charged for the Unlimited World 12 months has been refunded already last May 14, 2014.

    In my work, I communicate successfully by email with multinational global companies, both senior and middle management, on a daliy basis so I don't believe I am being unclear in my communications (experience would say I don't have a problem communicating).
    Can anyone else see that the responses are dealing with individual details instead of the real issue?
    Should I respond to the email above AGAIN trying to explain that this does NOT resolve my issue?
    I'm slowly being frustrated into submission and then cancelling... all the experience here is just too painful.  (I dread checking my emails from skype now...really not enjoying this.)

  • Renewal of Skype Premium

    Hi, just renewed my expired Skype Premium account and it won't let me use my unlimited calls feature. Originally signed up for Premium with unlimited calls to Canada, but now that I've renewed it, it won't let me make calls...

    I know when you original sign up for a Premium subscription it asks you where you'd like to make unlimited calls to... when I reactivated it, it didn't ask me, and did not renew my selection of Unlimited calling within Canada.
