Skype's latest build on Android keeps ringing afte...

Hello,
I'm having trouble with Skype mobile's latest build on my Android phone (Garmin-asus Nuvifone a50 with Android 2.1-update1, latest version available for that phone)
I downloaded the latest skype update yesterday (Sept. 29, 2011), it says it's version 33882220.
Since then, whenever I receive a call, once I pick it up, the phone keeps ringing and vibrating, and I can't get out of the call window, even if I hit the hang up button. The phone keeps ringing until I disconnect Skype or kill the app within Android.
Same problem when I try to call someone, the person picks up, but the phone keeps ringing, even though I am speaking with the person I'm calling. Here too, if I hang up, I effectively close the communication, but the phone keeps ringing and does not close the communication window. Only disconnecting or killing the app solves the constant ringing.
Edit: I forgot to mention, I tried to reboot my phone, but it did not solve the problem. The I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Skype, but it did not solve the problem (although I did not reboot the phone after uninstalling...)
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

me too , i have the same issue

With the latest version of the desktop app, when an incoming call rings in and I answer it with either the button on the Planetronics  headset wtih their software, or just click answer in skype, it keeps ringing on the headset and speakers endlessly.
    It's super anoying.

    It worked!!  Hurray!!
I tried again with a brand new Patch and it worked! seems it doesn't work if I add the test OSC on the old patches. Weird.
Anyway! If I wasn't a straight man I would have fell in love with you right now! Thanks Mate you just saved the day!

I have a 4th generation Kindle 8.9 and my wife has one of the new 7-inchers. We both set up Skype accounts a few nights ago and sent requests to friends and to each other, but have yet to hear from them or from us. Our WiFi is working fine and we have internet access...we can even find our friends on Skype. And we, ourselves, are listed on the Skype directory. So why haven't we received each other's requests? Don't they appear in the main message area? What's wrong?

  • My phone keeps ringing at all hours day and night

My house phone keeps ringing at all hours day and night.  It only rings once or twice.  If I pick it up the line is dead.  I think it might be from skype because I noticed a strange California area code phone number once and a friend said that was a phony number that skype uses to send out calls.  Can I find out who keeps calling me?  This is telephone harassment!

I think you can try contacting your telephone service provider first for possibly more specific/accurate information.  Then if it is indeed a Skype number/call, you can submit a report to Skype.

  • HSLHSB Filter no longer working in PS CC 2014, latest build

    Dear Community:
For me, the optional HSLHSB filter is an essential part of my color imaging workflow. I recently updated to the latest build --- PS CC 2014 to 20140730.r.148x64.
After the update, the HSLHSB filter no longer functions properly. There is no button selection on the input side of the filter, and only a selection of the three options on the output side. The filter runs, but the source and destination can no longer be set, so the plugin is useless.
I can get it to work in PS CC, And PS CS6 just fine, but not in the current build of CC 2014. Up until till this build, it worked just fine.
Is there a new version of the optional HSLHSB filter that needs to be installed (and if so, where?) or is the current build just messing with the optional filters plugin?
    Pete Myers
    Santa Fe, NM

OK, the first screen capture below is of the filter coming up after selection---note there is no INPUT MODE. The second screen capture is selecting an INPUT MODE, but then there is no ROW ORDER! Believe me, I have used this filter since it came out, so what it is doing now is just strrrrrrrrrrrrrrange! And again, it worked right up until the latest update on CC 2014.
I am running the lastest version of CC 2014, running on 10.8.5, with the latest supplemental update to the OS.
    Pete

Can't download latest Itunes 10.5 - Keep receiving following error: An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft VC80 CRT.type="win32",version="8.0.50727.6195".publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b".pro cessorArchitecture="x86".

OK.  If both of you are Windows 7.  Make sure you go to Windows update (START button, type in Windows Update). Check for updates and update whatever that are available. (especially Microsoft .NET Framework 4 )
After that see if you still get this error message.
The last resort would be to unistall and reinstall the whole thing.
    Follow the steps below:
    1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:
    http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall
Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
    2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
    iTunes
    QuickTime
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Follow the instructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components
    3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch

I removed an old version of a java runtime and installed reinstalled flashbuilder 4.5. I also upped the memory however it always gets very close to maximum allocation. It is not crashing as much however if I close flashbuilder it takes ages to load the workbench in. Are you on windows 7 also?

Have you made any progress with this issue?
The exact same thing happens to me, and even increasing the memory params in flashBuilder.ini did not solve my problem.
    Thanks, Eloise.

  • Can't update to latest build on external drive

I've installed Win 10 TP on an external drive which is essentially a 2.5" SATA drive converted to USB 3.0.
I used a tool to install it as a "To-Go" Windows. While it works fine in general use, it unfortunately complains when I try to update to the latest build. Now I've heard of similar problems with people running in VMs but this is quite different since
it's a normal install but on an external drive. Does anyone have any idea on a work around? I realize that I can't expect the update to work when I basically tricked Windows 10 to install on an external drive but as you can see, it does know that it's installed
on an external drive after the installation was done hence the error when updating.

    Hi Trixanity,
To deploy newer Windows on Windows To Go (Or on the external drive), we need to reimage the newer Windows and then deploy it to the external drive. Directly upgrade is not supported.
See the How do I upgrade the operating system on my Windows To Go drive
    part in the following FAQ:

    Hello,
    Leopard requirements/10.5.x...
        *  Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
    minimum system requirements
        * 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)
        * DVD drive for installation
        * 9GB of available disk space (I say 30GB at least)
    Classic/OS9 Apps no longer supported.
Trouble is Apple no longer sells it, check eBay & such for the Retail version, not the Gray Discs...
    http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=mac+os+x+leopard+retail+10.5
There are workarounds if the 867MHz CPU is the only hangup...
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/leopardassist/

  • Fax keeps ringing on Officejet 5740

I just purchased an Officejet 5740.  It is hooked up to a fax line - a line used only for faxes.  When I print something (or sometimes when I don't) the fax will ring but there will be no fax.  This happens over and over again.  The tech said to take out the power cord for a minute...which I did.  Unfortunately, while he was on the phone it did ot ring so it looked like this solved the problem.  It did not.  It keeps ringing every few minutes.  Can you help?  It seems that HP does not have an email where I can email my question/issue.  Thank you.  My email is[edited email by moderator].

    Hi @thsenterprises
I have never heard of this type of issue. I checked for a firmware update for your model and didn't one.
Do you have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is it in a surge protector or power bar? Even if you have been using a surge protector/power bar all this time and you feel it is not the cause, please connect it to a wall outlet just so we can eliminate the power source as the root cause.   Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector
In this document you will see, ISSUE: Problems or issues may arise when an HP LaserJet series printer is connected to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), a power strip, or a surge protector
^ This is not limited to Laserjet printers.
If the persists, or the power cable was already connected to a wall outlet, I suggest calling us back again. If you are in Canada or US call 800 474 6836, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.
HP printers generally have a 1 year warranty from their purchase date, you can verify the warranty using the following link if you issuewould like; warranty check.
    I hope this helps.

Im trying to install Photoshop Elements premier 12 on my new Mac with the latest update and i keep getting the same failed to initialise message. I was able to register the key code at first but now im not able to either open the program or reinstall it.

What is "Photoshop Elements Premier 12"? Do you mean Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements? Were your files copied over from a previous mac that had PSE installed on it?

  • Java Update does not install latest build

Kind of an odd bug I suppose: Java Update only installs up to build 6, even though build 7 is listed on the site. It's possible that the latest build hasn't been placed on the update servers yet, though personally I think there's a problem with Java update itself. It doesn't seem to need to sequentially install the builds either (though, what developer does that anymore?) as after updating to build 6, Java Update stated that it was the latest version.

A month is too long to have failed updates, ellencav. I know you mentioned you have a Samsung Galaxy 3. Can you clarify if you have the Note 3 or galaxy S 3? Was a warranty replacement offered through Verizon tech support? This way, as long as you met the terms of the warranty, a replacement would be shipped to you and the defective device would be shipped back.
