This is a message I recieved from a random stranger, and it is clearly a scam if you process the text given. This scammer was also reported in another forum on community.skype.com, and has made its appearance once again. I don't know how many victims he/she has scammed and I'm trying to raise awareness.

I added him on my account and discussed buying the account, he offered me my friends minecraft account for $ 8 ( Second chat log )

Using Skype moderatorss to Harass me after I block...
Okay this has never happened to me before so I have absolutely no idea what to do and am absolutely dumbfounded.
I ran a website where this girl found me and started contacting me repeatedly. I finally decided she's friendly and just want someone to talk to and gave her my Skype for her to contact. Since adding me to Skype, every one of our conversations were initiated by her and we usually just chat friendly like any typical conversation.
Then last time we chatted, and spoke about a week or so ago, she suddenly became very sexual and wrote and said a lot of sexual things with me. Afterward, I noticed her username amberier_17 ends with 17, and recalled that she's just going to university but still in high school. Though most of my friend sin high school before graduating were 18 or 19, I suddenly realized that she may not be over 18 yet and I don't think we ever put that to question.
So yesterday (April 1st), she says hi to me again and initiated conversation with me again. I told her my thoughts and said that we can't continue with any sexual conversation unless she's over 18, and asked her if she is. She refuses to answer me, and goes on passing rude remarks to me saying how her friend (im not sure who, and shes never mentioned friend before) says that she should stop contacting me etc as if I'm a bad guy I guess? At the end she told me I could go to hell if this or that and I was beginning to get very unnerved why she wouldn't even tell me whether she's over 18 or not.
So I blocked her then, with no intention of letting her contact me again. But today I was approached by a moderator who said they received a Report, from someone anonymouse, that I "solicited" personal information from them, and that violates the agreement and policy of Skype use. This moderator added me 30 minutes after I blocked her finding her refusing to tell me if she was over 18, doing the right thing, without asking her for exactly how old she is. If she said she do not want to tell me, then ok. if she stop contacting me, then ok. She did not do either, prompting me to conclude that she may very well be under 18, and to block her as I was beginning to feel both fooled, having responded to someone I shouldn't be talking to and don't even know, and being made to feel horrible as she kept repeating how her 'friend' think she should stop talking to me (as if we talk often at all).
I use Skype to mostly talk to either my ex (who is very nice and sweet to me and helps me out with a lot of school work even now), or other friends from school I Skype to do homework or assignment with. So I know for sure it can't be anyone else I know.
But after having blocked this individual, I am both reached by her (through a moderator), and her revenge in getting me banned from using Skype again. If this is not outright harssment or abuse of the system then I don't know what is. However I have no idea how to report this in detail at all so I am reporting it here seeing that moderators do address people's privacy and security issues here.
Right now I sadly feel almost like a victim, of indirect harssment manipulated by someone that wants to get back at me for blocking them. I feel like my privacy and safety is threatened by simply trying to do the right thing, and she got close to having me lose my way to stay in touch with people close to me using Skype that I always have used because of this eratic and vengeful stranger.
I hope to not to be harassed (personally or through indirect channels like with moderators) by this person again (especially with false accusations so obvious in our chat logs) or people this person incorporates to deliver inconveniences into my life and threaten the communication I have with people I know simply for blocking her and asking whether she's over 18 (not detailed age). But I don't know if it is even possible. I do hope the right person comes accross this and perhaps look into this person. If she's under 18, i think it's a bit inappropriate to get into and initate sexual conversations accross Skype and with strangers after seeking them out online. That's just what I think. Bottom line is I just want to be free from further harassments from this person.
Thanks for taking your time in reading this venting!afaik, there is no such thing as "skype moderators" based on how you described them in your post. Most likely, it just another possibly fake user (scammer/spammer) just like that girl (I also think they are related or possibly the same user). I suggest that you report both that girl at that so-called moderator to [email protected], then blocked and remove them from your contact list.
I also think Skype doesn't communicate with their users via Instant Messages or calls, they usually send emails to users' registered email address.

I know skype cant do much about it. but firstly I'd like to suggest everyone post up all information you can regarding the pursuer so that everyone else can go on skype look them up and block/report them. Their accounts are usually fairly obvious once you have become a victim.
FIRST PROTECT YOURSELF!
DO NOT SEND MONEY. DO NOT SUPPORT THEIR THREATS. THIS WILL PROMOTE THEM TO CONTINUE.
Delete/block all connections you have with the pursuer. Be it any/All social networks with linked names or information you have posted up publicly. Secondly if you cannot delete these accounts/deacctivate it, change you private settings.
CEASE ALL COMMUNICATION with them as soon as you have done this.
They also recycle photos with different names.

I did a google and facebook search on him and wasn't able to find his account (probably been shut down) but I was able to find a trace link to a facebook like of photos of a football match or something called Zona Clandestine in El Jadida, Morroco which was one of the places he wanted money to be sent to. He is also associated with Khouribga, Morroco. Very likely this is where he lives.
A google search of Marwan Dissoza brings up his account on Facebook basic though it isn't actually there when you click on it suggesting his account was deactivated. Most likely by Facebook.
Other aliases are Anime Idris Kamel and Mouab Khabsi. Most likely one times uses.
Marwan Dissoza does seem to be closer to his real name as I also found his details on some sort of dating site: http://www.meetme.com/member/77885488
He also appears to have a google+ account.
Judging by his name he's a spanish Morrocan. He appears to have good english and IT savvy though he's not that good as he wasn't able to entirely erase his digital footprint.
Nonetheless this guy is scum of the lowest order and any of his nora cante aliases is to be avoided at all costs.
My incident started on Chat roulette. I have since stopped using it. My advice to anyone using Chat roulette is to avoid it at all costs. If you feel comfortable using then do not give out your email under any circumstances. If the so-called girl or boy you're chatting says they can't find your skype name its a trap. Just move on. I was so close to clicking 'next' and boy do I wish I had! The fake cam seems so convincing. It never occurred to me that someone could record your skype video call and use that against you.
I sincerely hope no one else falls victim to this disgusting filth. I think we need to push Skype hard to put out a message to all users on their site to steer clear of all accounts named nora cante. -

Contact request: Is this a scammer?
Hi,
I received a contact request yesterday with the (in my language) default invitation message from a Skype account I don't know. Said person has a picture of a heart with 2 puppet-like figures looking at it.
Even though I've never had random contact-invite issues before, I'm smart enough to guess this might be a scammer and I should not accept this person.
However, The only information shown on the profile of said person says that this person is from the same city as me.. Which is what kinda confuses me.
So my questions are,
do scammers fake being from the same city on their profile?
Could it do any harm for me to accept said person and ask who they are? (I have no added phone number on my Skype profile, so that's secure). Or is there a different way of finding out who they are/where they are from?

possible, scammers might employ such tactics to entice their targets to accept their contact request. Generally, it is not advisable to suspicious contact requests. I think if that user is indeed someone who knows you, they may have attached a short message in their contact request to introduce themselve.

There are literally SEVENTEEN options in the menu when you right click on a Recent Contact but Skype (Microsoft really, and my recent former employer, in the interest of full disclosure), is spammers best friend as it hides the REPORT ABUSE option inside the BLOCK option making people have to hunt for answers. Every new release of Skype under Microsoft has seen the quality of the audio/video get better (maybe because our laptops and bandwidth ar so much better anyway than a few years ago) but the UI and UX have goten worse and worse. And to this day anyone can associate your email address with any Skype ID you did NOT create, and even in 2015 Skype does not send a validation email and just associates [e-mail removed for privacy and security] to Tom, **bleep**, Harry, Scammer, Spammer, Jerk, and any user ID you would not want to be associated with. If any organization or a person wants to commit a conspiracy against any person or group of persons, it can be a delicious tool to exploit and commit conspiracy against that person or group of person. How? I am giving one person's case study, where he has become the victim (evidences are there as supporting evidences to submit to IC3 (www.ic3.gov), for a data research purpose and monitoring purpose over Skype.

A> The scammers have posted few lucrative fake text advertisements in another social networking tool (I do not want to mention here that brand name, confidentiality purpose) for phishing that victim, and obviously he was victimized by this A-One phishing process, as victim is an innocent general person and regularly uses Skype as a serious professional (like other Tom, Dike and Harry) and that social networking tool. B> The scammers in each case posted their Skype IDs, as Skype does not do any background checking (though it is a social network for professionals), and the scammers do not bother to share their personal details at Skype. Where phone number is needed, there mentioned some phone number of a particular country(I do not want to mention that country name for supporting IC3) where that number can receive call and SMS, but that is a fake phone number, as no any service provider there who has provided that phone number(already investigated) to that scammer.
C> Established relation with the victim(that unfortunate person),exploited time and money of that victim, once that adventure over gone out and deleted the scamming profile. So no proof is there in that conversation room except from the transcript stored at Skype Server. Because Skype on regular basis commits content washing. My Skype number used in a tech scam.
I don't know if this has happened to anyone else before but today I received a voicemail from a man who had received a phone call from my Skype number. Whoever was using the number had claimed to be from Microsoft and was trying to access sensitive information on his HDD.
I double checked with the guy and the scammer was indeed using my Skype number. I've already contactd support about this but wanted to know if this has happened before/warn others.
I've been getting calls from numbers I don't recognize for weeks and have never bothered to return them. I definitely will now. Probably could have found out about this sooner if I had.Hello to both,

I would be able to see him(shortly) through the cam and he is quite young, black hair, in a good shape, bronw eyes, tall 6ft2, good looking guy. Report to FBI site or to the local police.

You have made me a happier man and I know that you and I were made for each other and I am strongly convinced that you are that special one I have been waiting for all my life. I think of you even while on the job and I have never felt this way about anyone before and this feeling is strange to me and I love it too. I love the way you make me feel and I feel butterflies in my tummy when I think of you. My career has spun its length honey and 25 years in the service of my country I think is enough and I deserve some me time with you and then we can do whatever it is that we want and be happy. I have thought this through and I am quitting the military once my tour is done and I can go back to being a civilian and live a life of peace and quiet with you by my side and not have to look over my shoulders anymore.
