Skype / Skype Mobile Settings Conflict

It seems that when I log into skype on my mobile, my saved settings change. I am part of a paid group and have a mobile number listed, however, when I log in through skype mobile, the group settings change such that call costs come off my credit card, and my saved # does not show up when I call people. I have to constantly reset them to the correct settings, and then it happens again...and again...
Can someone advise how to correct this?

I re-installed skype mobile to my android, hoping this might resolve the conflict. However it still causes my settings to change... any further suggestions??

i just installed Skype for Mobile (Beta) onto my E61, am able to login.
but once login, i cannot skype call at all, i select active contact and press "CALL" button, but there is no response.
has anyone been successful using E61 with Skype?

Try Fring (http://www.fring.com). It has Skype as well as ICQ and MSN messaging in it.

Thank you for coming back to me re-camera problem.I found out that the problem was my internet,you have to upgrade the software on the tv,I could not download it from home so I took it to the shop,they had a better internet reception.When I got home I had perfect reception.The camera is perfect,the problem I find now is the incoming picture is not as good as mine because they not are not using the same equipment.

Mobility settings problem

Finally I managed to get my MacBook set-up and configured for network access and a user set-up as a mobility user.
Everything works with one teasing problem: I can't change in "Users & Groups" the Mobile Account Settings for the user.
Everything is greyed out.
FYI: Do to a misunderstanding on my side I originally configured the mobility settings in profilemanager. They been pushed
through succesfully.
Then I was wondering why I can't get them changed as the mobnile user. Then I learned that the user can't change them
if they are configured via profilemanager.
O.K. so I deleted them in profilemanager, change was pushed through succesfully but I still can't change them as they are still greyed out.
Where did I go wrong ?
What can I do ?
What I would love to have is that only the the docs, pictures and Music folders are been synced.
Help/guidance is more then appreciated.

Mobility settings issue

Has anyone noticed that it is not possible to set up mobility settings rules through Profile Manager? It is possible to add a new line in the skip items section, and to switch the pull down selection, but it will not take any text in the description field, which seems to be blocked.
Mobility rules through Profile Manager has never really worked for me. I've had to resort to workgroup manager where it works as advertised.

A few versions ago, there was a new feature introduced that would give everybody a preview of images sent through IM.
It is nice to have an image preview, but nobody can choose where to save an image or a video anymore - the IM settings are duly ignored. I have finally managed to track down the folder where they are hiding, but this is really beyond the skills of an average computer user.
So, please fix this bug?

Right click in the image preview and select Save as.

You can use your laptop or tablet if you are taking them with you.
You can also use a friend's device (mobile or desktop), go to an internet café, or use an airport or even hotel computer.
Basically, any device will do!
The device needs to be connected to the Internet - most hotels, cafes and airports provide free wi-fi nowadays, I always use those.
Download and install Skype on the device or launch it if it is already installed.
Login with your existing Skype login and password. (Don't forget to log out when you're done with your calls!)
You will see all your Skype contacts and past conversations, and you can call them for free, just as you would do it from home.
If you want to call a mobile or a landline back home or in the country you are travelling to, you can also do that with Skype Credit or a Skype subscription. Calls to landlines and mobiles are not free as we need to connect you to a network operator. However, they are usually much cheaper than what you would pay using your mobile! No sound in skype call - audio settings fine

when I call someone, I hear the ringing notification, but once the call connects I can't hear them, and they can't hear me.
I've checked all the audio settings, and they're all set to the correct speakers/mic. My sound works fine on everything else, and works on skype until I try to call. I've reinstalled Skype numerous times and it hasn't fixed the problem. I've tried looking online for a solution, but I can't find one. I don't know how to fix this. Please help.

Can't send video messages from the Skype by mobile

hi,
i have nokia x2 mobile pone. i had installed skype in it. i can take vedio calls from skype using the camera. but i can't recode vedios to send vedio messages. when i start to recode vedio to send. application stops. sometimes entire skype application is stop. please help me to fix this problem.

Ok. Trying to send a video message fro the desktop. Some contacts when chosen do not have this as an option, the ones that do, when I click on it, I get an error message that says:
"OOPS! Somrthing went wrong. Please tray again or get in touch." Trying again gets the same result, and I can find nowhere to "Get in touch" with skype.

Skype on mobile broadband

Hi all - I recently started using mobile broadband with Optus. I'm running OSX 10.5.8 on a laptop.
I just tried to video chat and it didn't seem to be connecting.
It then showed a message which said - no proxy found.
Also, when I select the accounts tab and scroll down to Skype Access (Wifi) is says:
"Your current wifi network Optus ... does not support skype access. Please try another available public network. Tip: Skype access doesn't work with private or closed...". And it ends there.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Skype on Mobile

I have registered with Skype. I got a Skype number and got Skype Credit but I seem to be having trouble installing Skype on my Android Mobile.
So the question is...do I need to have Skype installed on my phone to receive calls, even though I put my mobile as a call forwarding number?

Skype & NFL Mobile Apps for Verizon

What's the deal with getting these apps approved? According to VZ, Palm is holding them up from being available. There has been a lot said and written about the relationship with VZ, but to have the apps available on android and blackberry phones, but not web OS is a huge mistake. Please tell me that this will change soon.

Unfortunately, we have no information on the status of app submissions or approvals.
As far as I knew, Skype was not even making a webOS app yet, as seen in a 2009 article from US News. I admit that's a bit dated here in the world of webOS, but a quick visit to the Skype download page lists mobile apps for several platforms, but no mention of even a 'coming soon' placeholder for webOS. I didn't stay there for long, but hopefully Skype has a feedback and suggestion page where you could request a webOS version of their mobile application.
As for the NFL app, again we don't have any information, but if you would like to see a particular app or feature like VZ NFL added, visit our feedback portal at www.palm.com/feedback .
