Solved! I unlinked the Microsoft account and Skype works back like magic.

Hello I have a problem with a Wifi Survey app, this app is from Access Agility, however this app was working fine, but without advise stop of working, I tried to open again, but app be close after few seconds. Every time that I tried to open it, in diagnostic and use create some files, in special one named LatestCrash-WifiSurvey.plist, this one generate an incident identifier E73B0164-CDFA-4E9E-839E-A0C021BD17A2, but this incident identifier change every time that I tried to open, the last incident identifier is: DE600EB3-AB57-4C33-8DE8-71F6788A7441.
After of it, I checked that the app had a new version available for downloading, I took a backup of my ipad and then upgrade this app, but is the same problem, all I want is to save the projects I had in this app, I´m afraid that if I delete this app and re-install it, probably I loss my projects.
Thanks for your help indicating how I can save my projects and see them for example in an iphone for assurance that data is not lost.
Something that called my attention is part of the log that shows a big CPU processing, but the strange thing is I killed all applications.

Dear all, Since a week ago I observe that when I press the button for my macbook air to start a nap, first the screen turns to black (although I can see it is stil on) and I can see the arrow (pointer). Only after 15 seconds the arrow and the screen really shut down. It did not occur before, as a matter of fact it was instantaneous. What could be the problem?
Note the time in your Mac's menu bar or some other accurate timepiece. Then, press the button to put the MBA to sleep. Wait until the cursor disappears and for all indications that the Mac appears to be asleep.
Then, wake the Mac the way you normally wake it.
Then, find the Console app - it is in your Utilities folder and looks like this
You can find it by selecting Utilities from the Finder's Go menu.
Open Console.
If the log list column on the left is not already displayed, show the log list by selecting Show Log List from Console's View menu.
Locate system.log in the list and select it. Many date and time-stamped entries will appear, hundreds of them, and you must find the entries relevant to your Mac's sleep problem. To do that type the words sleep cause in the Filter field at the upper left of the Console window:
That will cause all log entries to be hidden, except for the entries containing those words. The last entry in the list will correspond to the last time you woke the Mac. It will have a time stamp in the form hh:mm:ss later than the time you noted in the Mac's menu bar prior to putting it to sleep.
Make note of that exact time in hours, minutes, and seconds.
Next: Clear the filter field by clicking the x in the above screenshot. It should then look like this:
All previously displayed log entries will reappear.
Next: Find the log entry that corresponds exactly to the time you noted in hours, minutes, and seconds containing the words "previous sleep cause". You may have to scroll up or down a considerable distance. When you find that line, select it and drag your cursor up and prior to the entry corresponding to the approximate time you noted before putting the Mac to sleep. This will result in a selection of perhaps 50 to 100 lines or so.
One or more of them, along with their time stamps, may reveal the reason for the fifteen second delay.
Copy and paste those log entries in a reply.
Most of the entries will be cryptic but will contain information you might consider personal such as your Mac's name. If you do not want that information to appear, delete or obscure it when posting your reply. Leave enough information so that the entries can be deciphered. -
Messages app launches and closes after 10 seconds

I have an iphone 3g bought from ebay (france) about a year ago. I bought it unlocked and had a friend help jailbreak it (I was told it was necessary) to make it work in my home country (Cyprus). My wife has been using it since then with no problems (mainly for simple phone calls).
Today I switched SIM cards and inserted my SIM card in the phone to use for a few days. It worked fine for a few hours and suddenly the text messages app (not mail) does not work (all other apps seem fine at the moment). I tap the messages icon, it launches a blank white screen with no messages in it (even though it had messages a few hours ago) and after 10 seconds it goes back to the home screen. I can receive texts and if I click reply and then cancel the reply or tap on the messages button from the reply screen it takes me back to the list of old messages that were on the phone before this problem started. However, if I go back to the home screen from there, and tap the messages icon again, it displays the same problem.
I tried putting the original SIM card back in.
I tried turning off/on.
I have tried hard reset (home button and power button simultaneously).
...and the problem persists
I asked at one of the apple stores but as soon as they saw that the phone was jailbroken they said they could not do anything. Fair enough, but I still want to have a working phone...
Can anyone help?
I am unsure as to whether I can restore/upgrade and all that, as the phone is jailbroken.
There is no real data on it that I care about losing. Almost empty. All my contacts are on my macboook anyway and all the photos have been imported to iphoto. There is no music on the phone that I don't already have elsewhere.

I was told to be careful not to click install new software when connecting to iTunes as that might cause probs.

Also I am not a techie so be gentle!!Try to reset the iPod by holding the sleep and Home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data doing a reset.

Satellite A110-180 - Fan starts but stops after few seconds
Hi,
I have a Toshiba Satellite A110-180 and when I turn on the computer the fan starts running but it stops in a few seconds and starts again in a while and stops again and starts..... Then the laptop gets heat quickly.
I bought the laptop around 5 years ago so I think that the problem is either the fan or the circuit that controls the fan. Can someone that has had the same problem make me sure that the fan is the problem?
The part number of the fan is ATZHG000500. Does anybody know if a fan with P/N ATZHG000100 is compatible with my laptop or if I can use other fan?

I already cleaned the fan 3 days ago because I thought that perhaps that was the reason of the fan running. I installed a program to control the hard drive and CPUs temperature and at the beginning when I turn on the laptop in the morning the temperature is ok, but when I look an email and surf by internet a little bit for 10 min the temperature increase in 10º or more in CPU and hard drive, and the fan is still running in the same way that I commented (in a discontinuous way). So I don't think that it's normal at least theoretically. I also have another laptop and the fan is running all the time.
I'll check about the thermal grease to see if the condition are fine. -

When I start a fresh new backup, Time Machine start indexing, then stops without backup anything.

Click on Usage and closes after 15 seconds
I've already turned my phone off and turned it back on. I've asked other iphone users and their not sure why it's happening. I want to be able to manage my apps. Has anyone else had this issue or do I need to speak w/ my phone service. I think it has to do with the phone but not sure.
When I go into Settings, General, and Usage, The bar right under Storage looks like its loading but if I try to click on anything in "Usage" it basically closes that window within 15secs and takes me back to my menu window. I want to know why this is happening.

I can't download OS5 or, rather, iTunes does download it about 450 mb and then, a few seconds after it starts processing the file, I get the message that I am timed out and am recommended to check my internet connection. I am using 3g to download it.
I don't know which country you're in, but in the US, carriers limit the amount of download for a single file when using 3G. Have you tried wifi?

I have connected an AirPlay enabled device to iphone4s. I started palying songs. I was able to access internet through 3G from iphone.After few seconds 3G symbol disappears and WiFi symbol appears. After that I'm not able to access internet. Why is it so?
SMS. Deggie, had them check that. After a lengthy discussion with Senior Tech advisor, it appears it is iMessage/Face Time server (they are the same) issue, which will strong arm those into purchasing Data if they use iMessage over multiple devices, as the server registers the phone number associated with apple ID. Photoshop CC 2014 closes when start up for a few seconds

When I try to open the Photoshop CC 2014. It will close after it has started up for a few seconds without any error message dialog in the Photoshop or error log in Event Viewer.
I have just subscribed for the package Photoshop & Light Room combo yesterday and tried to install the Photoshop CC 2014.
I have already tried to figure it out for at least 10 hrs in 2 days by searching all the solutions to this kind of problems and tried every means I could do, but nothing really works.
What I have already tried are as follows:
1. Un-install the ps cc 2014 with clear preference option and re-install it again with Creative Cloud application, but no luck.
2. Update Nvidia graphic driver, which it has already been up-to-date, no luck. I even update the windows using window update center, but still get the same problem.
3. Use Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool after un-install the program. The cleaner tool works fine with successful message and no error message in the log file. Then, I try installing the ps again, but no luck again.
4. Use the License Update Service tool, but no luck.
5. Delete the opm.db and lunch the Photoshop again, but no luck, same problem.
***6. Rename the folder SLStore to SLStore_old. Open the program and it will ask me to license the software by signing in with my adobe account, it "works" only for the first time. However, once I close the application and open it again, same problem occurs, the program just closes right after I open it again. Now, I have to rename the folder every time I want to use the Photoshop.
(By the way, this problem happen the same for the LR and now I have to re-name the SLStore folder every time I want to use the LR as well)
It seems to me that I have some kind of the license problem, but I cannot understand why? and how to fix this?
I am using Window 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 on my VAIO laptop.
The specifications are Intel(R) Core i7 CPU [email protected], 6.0GB of RAM. The GPU is NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 425M.
I really need to use the program and that is why I decide to purchase for the package, please help resolve this.

I did it and it works for me So, I think I should share this so people who have faced the same issue as I can give it a try.
Basically, Just uninstall the Photoshop and Creative Cloud, then rename the folder SLCache to SLCache_old. Restart your computer once and then re-install everything again. (CC and PS)

I'm running Win 8, 64 Bit. When I try to open pdf doc in Adobe Reader XI 11.0.03, IE10, it closes after 2 seconds. I have uninstalled several times and reinstalled but no fix. Any solutions?

A75-209 not seeing CD/dvd drive and laptop loggof few seconds after loggin
Hello everybody,
I got into a " self loggoff after loggin" issue, and I'm not able to restore the computer on any ways. Tried it on Safe Mode with no avail, it appears the window to loggin and after do it after few seconds it starts loggoff the computer.
Tried to reload the software from CD and it doesn't work, actualy BIOS doesn't see it . Any advice, please will be greatly appreciated,

Dan D.here's a thought-check to see what your Startup disk is. It should be your hard drive, also check your cd/dvd preferences in System preferences. oh-I see you have a MacBook Pro. maybe you will have better luck in the macBook Pro forums, this is for the Desktop machines...

Acrobat XI Pro automatically closes itself with no messages etc. after few seconds

I don't know why but my Acrobat XI Pro (11.0.0) automatically closes itself (with no warning, no messages etc.) after few seconds. I installed the AXI as a part of the CS6 Master Collection on my Windows 8 (x64) laptop. Just as suggested at some other posts in the forum:
I checked the "security settings (enhanced)" tab but the protected view option is already off.
I searched for the eula.exe under the "Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0" folder but there is no eula.exe. May it be not present because I installed it as a part of CS6 Master Coll. package?
I am using Eset Endpoint Antivirus as a third party Anti Virus Software.
The problem occurs when:
I open up a pdf file from outlook etc.
I manually open a pdf file from windows explorer
I open adobe acrobat with no file to view
As I mentioned above, I see no error messages or warnings during the closing down. It acts as if I clicked the close button on the top right corner. I know that there are a lot of posts in the forum about this issue, but none of them helped me to solve my problem. I would be glad if you can help me with this problem.
Thanks,Hey i was having this issue also with Adobe Acrobat pro... it only seemed to be affecting one program that produced PDF output automatically. When the processes finished the PDF is supposed to be displayed and instead it would rapidly flash across the screen and close. THen i would have to hunt for the PDF to review its content. I tried a couple of things like deleting my preferences for acrobat C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0. You might have to show hidden files. In the explorer window select Organize-> Folder and search options-> once that opens view -> check show hidden files, folders and drives. then navigate that path above. Make sure adobe is closed then delete everything in there or move it off to another folder if your worried it will break it further.
That did not fix the problem though. I opened the application and ran my process again same results (adobe closes pdf auttmagically). so i opened adobe acrobat and navigated to Edit -> Preferences -> look under the General tab and click the select default PDF handler and that seemed to fix my problem. I also disabled the enhanced security look further down in that list under security enhanced. then a reboot so it is possible that the enhance security setting was the cause i think i will play with that for a minute to see if it was but i think my issue was the default handling. good luck -
Macbook air 11.6' (late 2010 model) screen dims after few seconds and does not recover.

I am running win7 under bootcamp on a macbook air 11.6'' late 2010 model (1.4 dual core, 4Gb memory, 64Gb ssd). A few days ago the screen started to dim a few seconds after bootup. Even if I pres any of the keys it does not light up again. However, if I connect to an external display it works fine. I use it for work and often I am mobile so I really need the display to work. Any suggestions?

The severity of the problem in this link looks worse than my problem. Mine is less severe than what's in this video, but more severe that what's in the first youtube link I provided.
The posts in that forum claim: 1) the problem began after upgrading to a newer OS, 2) it occurs after waking from sleep, and 3) that closing the lid for 10 seconds is a work-around fix.
Would be great if Apple fixes this. I won't buy another Mac, desktop or laptop, if they don't. Macs are too expensive to only get 2 years from, and in my opinion thay are not that much better than other options. I'm going to post a bug report on Apple's web site.
