Skype still connected after changing password twic...
My tablet was lost and the thief has continued to use my skype. I have changed password and yet I can still see it online.
What can I do.
Hi, Taiwoawonorin, and welcome to the Community,
The perpetrator will not have access to your account now that you have changed the password. The status setting is a known glitch in the later versions of the Skype software. Please see this FAQ article, in particular:
https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10042/what-are-chat-commands-and-roles?
/remotelogout
Sign out all other instances except the current one. This will also stop push notifications on all other instances.
/showplaces
Lists other instances where this Skype name is currently signed in.

Elaine

Apple ID still disabled after changed password.
I've changed my password after I first gotten the apple id disabled messages on my ipad and iphone, but now it is still showing the message saying my Apple ID is disabled.... However, I can still log in with my recently changed password. What is causing the message reappearing and how can I make it go away? Help please!!!!
Thank youIf you are getting the message on your iPad then try logging out of your account on it by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it.

Apple ID still disable after resetting password. What is the fix?
Welcome to the Apple community.
If you have tried Apple's recommendation to reset your password, and it has not succeeded, then I suggest you contact Apple using the Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices) -
IPSec VPN brings up login box but will not connect after entering password. Have tried this on both IPAD and IPhone 4. Can anyone help?
Uggh, it's so frustrating! I've googled every search phrase I can think of and this seems to be the only thread describing this exact issue. I'm always automatically logged into Facebook on my MBP but just to be sure I logged out and back in and it worked fine.
I gotta say, I wasn't a fan of the Droid I had preceding this iPhone, and from what I hear the iPhone app for FB is a thousand times better - not that I'd know personally because I can't log in!! - but I could always access my FB account on the droid. Just sayin... -

I have a Mac Pro using Lion, with SSD for system drive. Drive stopped booting, but otherwise appeared healthy. Restored from system backup. Now drive seems to work properly, BUT my logon password no longer works. Password OK for account; can access system preferences, and change user password there BUT logon still refuses to accept password. No luck changing password for that account after adding new administrator account and logging on from that account. Suggestions? Thanks.
If you redirect Accounts to another location (not on the Boot Drive) you need to direct them back there again after a restore.
SystemPreferences > Accounts/User&Groups > ...
... Unlock the lock, then hold down Control as you click on an Account to get access to the Advanced Options pane. -
Airport Card won't connect after changing wireless networks
Hello,
I have a black macbook with an internal airport extreme wireless card. I use the computer at school and at home. Both school and home have functioning wireless networks in which other computers are connected and running with no problems.
When I open my laptop and wake it from sleep after changing from school to home or visa versa the airport card often will not recognize the wireless network. On many occations, even when the network is recognized it will not automatically connect to it (I have it set to do). A message saying "There was an error joining the network" comes up. The only resolution has been to reset the computer (which doesn't always work) or reset the PRAM.
Sometimes after reseting the PRAM the computer doesn't even recognize that I have an airport card installed at all. When this happens I have to reset the PRAM again to resolve it.
As a final note, when the computer doesn't automatically recognize the network and I click on the desktop wireless network icon, I get the "spinning beach ball" for a period of time before the drop down box with the available networks shows up. This seems strange to me because it shouldn't be a RAM issue as I have 2GB of ram installed on this computer.
Any help would be appreciated.
K.
MacBook (Intel) Mac OS X (10.4.8)Try the following:
Delete Preferred Network(s)
- System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Configure
- In the "By default, join:" pull-down menu, select "Preferred networks"
- Delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list
Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
- Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
- Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
- Restart, or log out then back in.
Add Preferred Network(s)
- System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Configure
- In the "By default, join:" pull-down menu, select "Preferred networks"
- Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
- Restart or log out then back in.
If you haven't already, you may want to consider creating a network location for each (school & home) with the appropriate network settings required for connectivity at each. For each location, you can set the preferred network. -
Failed to open the connection after changing the connection in CMC
Hi
Below are our environment details:
BOXI 3.1 SP3
Solaris Sparc 10
Crystal Reports 2008 Sp3
Weblogic 11g
Our team is facing the problem as described below:
We have created Crystal Reports using JDBC connection and it works fine
in an environment(SIT).
When we migrate these reports to the another environment(UAT) we get
the error "Failed to open the connection"
After migrating we indeed change the connection to Custom Database
Login Information in CMC.
So to troubleshoot we installed Crystal Reports in UAT environment and
had to perform Set DataLocation after which
the reports starting working fine.
Now when we are migrating reports to Production we have the same issue.
We cannot install Crystal Reports on Production this time and hence we
are stuck.
Please let us know if any known workaround or solution for the same.
Thanks
Kamal
Edited by: Kamalaksha Shetty on Nov 15, 2011 4:18 AMHi Meenal,
I am not 100% sure I understood the workaround of having Crystal Designer on the server. Can you connect from UAT designer to production and perform the same operation?
Check this KBA that describes this problem and a solution:

Cannot get mail even after changing password
I have not been able to get incoming mail on either of my iMacs. I can send but not recieve. My iPhone and iPads do get mail but neither iMac. I have read here to change password. I did that and it is the same. This has been going on for 3 days now.
Replying to myself. I went onto my iMac and manually enetered the server imap.mail.me.com in the advanced section. It still shows the p01-imap.mail.me.com but somehow it works now.

Can't connect after changing BI Publisher Administrator password
I have a single machine instance of OBIEE 10.1.3 on Windows. All elements have been working fine and I have been able to successfully sign on to:
1) BI Publisher
2) Dashboards/Answers
3) BI Administrator
However, today I decided to change my 'Administrator' password in BI Publisher for good order's sake. And now after making that change I get an error reading:
{color:#0000ff}*'The server can not be used due to a configuration error, please contact the administrator. If you are the administrator, please consult BI Publisher user guide for proper configuration'*{color}
With 'error detail' reading: oracle.apps.xdo.security.ValidateException
Using the old BI Publisher password also returns an error (invalid user/password). I also stopped and started OC4J service all Oracle BI products. My BI Administrator signon still works fine.
I've read several posts about failed connections like this and ran across one that implied that characters in the new password such as *, #, $ will create problems. Unfortunately my new password does contain some of these characters {:>0 and I suspect this may be the issue My question: What is the least complicated way to back out of this situation and simply restore my sign on? I'm totally focused on data architecture and reports on this single user system right now. ThanksMadan,
Thanks for your help.
The password in xmlp-server-config.xml is encrypted. It looks (similar) to this:
<property name="BI_SERVER_SECURITY_ADMIN_PASSWORD_ENC" value="C14CD2495C033BB8E816E10BCDC25372" />
<property name="BI_SERVER_SECURITY_ADMIN_USERNAME" value="Administrator" />
I tried changing the encrypted password to my password but got a java sign on error.
I then modified the last block in CredentialStore.xml and restarted the BI Server and OC4J but I still get the 'oracle.apps.xdo.Security.ValidateException' error when signing on to BI Publisher. Here's the entry with the (dummy) password which
I tried with the first change above and without the first change above.
