I want my samsung android phone to automatically accept Skype calls and preferably from a specific Skype account.
I tried the automatic feature on the phone preference but the phone here would automatically launch however without video.
Help needed

if you call the number from a phone a message says "this number is not accepting calls' not only does it not forward the call it doesnt even work on the pc. very frustrating. its nothing to do with my privacy settings.

Skype crashing when accepting calls win 7

Hello, i recently have the problem that my skype crashes whenever i accept a call or try to call another person. Thats what i get in the error description. Automatically accept FaceTime calls on my Mac OS X Yosemite, 10.10.2 from a specific phone number

I would like to be able to call my Mac FaceTime and have it automatically accept my call so that I can check on my puppy. I tried using the Terminal and typing in syntax that I had seen on other forums, but it didn't work.
Please help! I need foolproof instructions because I'm not all that tech savvy.

I have installed skype in my android from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skype.raider&hl=en , but I have tried many time to call to desktop computer (skype installed) , but only voice call was possible and I have not seen any video call option (using wifi connection). Similarly I tried from computer to android using video call option, but no video invoked in my android.
Can anybody help me to get the video call from android to computer and vice versa.

i need this too. but no simple solution. I ended up using calling from ipad to mac(using ecamm) or windows(using supertintin skype recorder). It is possible. you can mirrroring your ipad to a Apple TV server simulator on Mac or Windows. And capturing screen there. Yes, it is too complicated. So the only option is using mac or PC and run a skype recorder there.

my ipod is connected with wifi continously. nowadays my skype disconnected automatically if i not use it for some few hours. my friend called me many times it fails to ring. after sometime when i open skype it starts to login n showing its missed calls. can anyone tell y its automatically log out. any solution? ipod touch gen 4. updated ios n app.

My Skype subscription for India calling is not wor...

Hi, I recently purchased Skype India calling for 2500min/month subscription. My problems are listed below;
1. The subscription is unfortunately not working at all. I tried on couple of mobile numbers, its sometimes connecting but no voice. Only one time I was able to connect to land line number and the voice was OK, but still not so good clarity.
2. I am not able to use this subscription feature in my Android mobile (Galaxy S4), to call mobile numbers or land line number are not possible at all my Skype mobile.
Please help me find a solution for it. My normal Skype video and voice calls are working fine in my Laptop and also in my Android mobile but the subscription is not working. If there is no solution or official communication I have to cancel subscription, why should I unnecessarily pay to Skype.
Any suggestion or help is appreciated greatly.

First of all thanks for your reply and also you mentioned something PSTN/Cellular network etc etc how the Skype is working. But look here my problem is why this is happening, the subscription name itself India calling then Skype should be able to tieup or catch up with the local Indian carrier, isn't it? How do I know that the local carrier is supporting or not? I need a solution not the reason, yeah it is good to know the reason but what I will do with the reason here; it is beyond my doing. If this is the genuince reason for the failure then Skype is making false statement and fooling around the customers saying you can call Indian Mobile and land lines by this subscription, which is clearly not happening.
Please let me know if there is anything can be done on this issue, yours time and effort is appreciately greatly.

SKYPE PREMIUM CHARGES WHEN CALLING MOBILES

I have skype premium with unlimited calls to mobiles and landlines phones to France.
However, I am still getting charged when calling cellphones (I am getting charged on my skype credit)

You guys claim that by getting skype premium I have unlimited calls (mobile and landlines) toward any of the country in the list.
Why am I still getting charged?

If Hungary is your selected country for telephone calling with Skype Premium, the subscription only covers calling to landline phones. Click on "Skype Premium" below and then expand the list of countries you can choose from when calling telephones. Only 4 countries have calling for both landline and mobile phones covered (USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore).
You would need to either purchase Skype Credit or a country-specific subscription that also covers calling to mobile phones in that case (click on "Subscriptions" below to see the options for Hungary, or other countries). When using Skype Credit to pay for calls to telephones, there is a connection fee charged per call along with the per-minute rate. This is detailed on the "Pay As You Go" link below.

Automatically Accept Incoming Contact

By default, when IC receives an incoming contact (call, email, etc) from a CMS such as Genesys, Avaya, etc., the Accept button in the toolbar will blink and the agent will have to click that button to initiate the interaction.
In Maximizing Your SAP CRM Interaction Center, however, it states on page 56 that the system can be configured to either automatically accept the incoming telephone call, or to prompt the agent with blinking accept and reject buttons.
I'm trying to figure out where within SAP this option can be configured. Normally I would be able to configure such a capability within the CMS, but there is a switch limitation that prevents it in this case, so configuring SAP to automatically accept the interaction is the only option we have.
Can anyone point me to the right location to configure this?

I need Skype credit to forward calls!?

So I have an unlimited subscription (paid for a year in full) and a Skype number (also paid for a year in full) and I have call forwarding setup to go to my mobile phone whenever I am logged off Skype. It's been working fine and under my "View Call History" it shows these calls with a Rate and Amount of 0.000, so all is well.
Problem is when I use the Windows 7 desktop client. Anytime I go into setting and do anything I always get this message when I hit save: "You need to have some Skype credit to forward calls to mobile or landlines."
I'm really confused by this message.

The answer is yes: calls to your Skype account or Skype Number which you answer immediately, without forwarding the call, do not incur charges. However, if you choose to forward the call onward to another mobile or fixed line number, Skype sees this as a new call for which credit or a subscription is required in order to cover the cost.

no, when using facetime you log in with the apple id you want people to reach you at, so unless you both agree to share one apple id for all the facetime you do, it will be necessary for you to logout and login each time you use the application.

Skype doesn't accept Microsoft password when updating Skype

Problem: Skype does not accept my password when updating profile.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. I log into Skype successfully
2. I choose edit profile
3. I make changes and save
4. Skype prompts for my password
5. I put in the same password I used to successfully login
6. Skype reports that the password is incorrect.
Additional information:
- I use Microsoft login to access my Skype account.
-I have always used my Microsoft account. I do not have a Skype username

I am having precisely the same issue. I can access my account but edits to my profile are not accepted and I’m informed my password is incorrect. I’m using Windows 8 and set up the Skype account through the Windows 8 app., using my MSN account. Clicking the app gets me to my Skype account but won’t allow changes. I’ve tried resetting the password several times to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help.
