Skype to go Argentina

I have set up a S2G number for my son in Argentina, but when I dial it, a message says he is not available. Will this function not work in Argentina?

is the STG number forwarding to a Skype Name or to a 'regular' phone? (trying to determine the source of the message)

The microphone of my iPhone 4S doesn't work. However, when I use it with FaceTime or Skype it does. What can I do?

I just got my iPhone 4S and when I call someone the other part can not listen me. I've tried using the speakers, FaceTime and Skype and then the microphone works properly. The problem is when I've to use the cellphone. I've reinstalled the system twice and the problem persists. I need help please!!!!!

Sounds like your iPhone is locked to your home carrier.
See if they offer unlocking and if you qualify. Otherwise,
there is nothing you can do besides rent/but a cheap
phone for your month in Argentina.

They switched me to Skype Premuim, can't make call...

OK, here goes.
I've had a Skype Unlimited World subscription for several years, a recurring $9.99/monthly payment. About a week ago I tried to make a call on my mobile and got the message saying 'Skype Premuim doesn't allow calls to phones, that I would need to buy Skype credit', etc....
Hmmm...what the heck is going on?
i checked my emails to see if a late May 'Your purchase has been delivered' mail had come in, and no, it hadn't. Hmmm...more wondering about what's going on. I did not receive any messages informing me of changes to my subscription, changes to Skype or changes to Skype Premium. i went to my account page at Skype to see that Skype Premium was active, but that $0.00 had been charged in late May. Hmmm....what's up with that?
I did read the 'Skype Premium' is changing, group video calls are free', whatever, but it still was not clear about being able make calls to phones, and that's all I've ever needed of Skype for the past couple years. i want to continue having what I had. And I have no interest in group videos call anyway.
What to do? There is no one to call and talk with, but I did have a 'chat session' with a support rep (automated?) who was not able to quite understand my concerns. it ended with the chat rep telling me I'd have Skype Premuim for free until next January. I did tell the chat rep that I just wanted to be able to make calls, that group video was of no interest to me, and she (chat rep had a female name) told me everything was fine, that i would be able to make calls as I had been doing for a few years now.
OK, I'm back on, right? At least that's what my thinking was. So yesterday i tried to make calls, and much to my dismay, there was the same message...'Skype Premuim doesn't allow calls to phones, you will need to buy Skype credit'....AARGH.
So that's it? You can not make calls to phones with Skype Premuim? Or you can, but Skype is having issued sorting it out? Would someone here be able to clarify?
I don't see any use for me of a Skype Premium account if I can't make calls to phones.
I see the world subscription is now $13.99 a month. I would have just preferred they tell me the subscription price was increasing, instead of having to go through this whole mess to find out things have changed. Certainly they should send messages to inform customers that changes have been made instead of having to dig around and find out on their own.

I have a subscription to call numbers in Argentina. I've been using that plan for a long time. I need to call a number that I called many times in the past but my Skype account is not working. Please help me. I need to call this number today. I checked my account and my subscription is active. It says that I have 400 minutes left. Thank you

If you purchase the same subscription again it will only extend it, it doesn't add more minutes to your account.
If you have Ghana 120minutes then no matter how many times you purchase it within 30 days you still have only 120minutes during this 30 days.

Hello. i just enrolled for the skype premium one month free trial. i was charged US$1 for the subscription and received a confirmation number. I have tried to make several calls with no success.

Skype World Unlimited not working

Hello All,
I have Skype World Unlimited. It was working last month and I made a few calls. I just tried to make some calls and I was asked to add credits to my account. I am calling a country that is part of the program - Italy and I have called there before with my subscription. I am not sure what to do and it does not seem that there is a support number at MS for Skype.

I can see that you have tried to call mobiles in Italy and in Netherlands, this is not included in your Subscription, you can call only landlines for these countries

Using skype to go to call Brazil I could not hear ...

I call from US to Brazil on the regular basis for a couple years using my skype to go numbers, but for some reason the last few days I have had an issue where they can hear me but I can't hear them in the other end of the call. Most recently last Sunday and Monday and today 27/05/2014 I could not hear the recipient, but they could hear me.
Why is that happening ? And more important how can I get this fix?

I'm having the same problem calling Argentina, and it's so fustrating because I've spent hours on line with a skype customer service rep, to be exact with 4 different ones and they all told me to do something different....I tried a supposed customer service phone number 800 number first time they hung up on me when I explained my problem, second time I was put on hold, the third time I was giving a different 800 number which it had nothing to do with skype it was an 800 number for Microsoft....I'm very upset and deapointed because I've been a customer for the last two years.. I have a cousin in Argentina that has cancer and it's not doing very well and I just can't keep calling every hour to see if the call goes thru, if anyone gets a soluion to this problem please let me know..

Changing Country on Skype Premium with Business Ac...

Skype Premium allows one country to be selected for unlimited calling. If we purchase one month of Skype Premium for a Skype Business user, with no auto-renewal, once the Premium subscription expires after one month, can that same user be assigned Premium again, this time chosing a different country for unlimited calling?

Calling a cellphone in Argentina, always registers...

Hello, I'm living in Argentina and since I don't have a phone line at home I use Skype when I need to do a local phone call. I have no problems calling landlines/home phones but everytime I call a cellphone the persons says it shows to them as a 'collect call' (llamada por cobrar). Is there a reason for this?
It was pretty embarrasing the couple of times I did it, because people get mad about you calling them and asking them to pay for the (also) long distance call!
I buy skype credit to call. No suscriptions.

Help with soft like skype

Does blackbeery have a program/software like skype. I really need a soft to call to others computers from my blackberry 8310. Just sign session and call a contact who stay in his computer. Thanks for all. Alberto from argentina.

Skype on N97 mini

Hi I purchesed an n97 mini on saturday, and downloaded skype. the only way i've been able to get it to work is by wifi. Whenever i start walking away from home and the wifi signa drops, so does skype. There's absolutely no way to make it log in on 3G, and yes i do have a data plan... The very reason why i got this phone was because i wanted to use skype... Oh and when i try to choose connection on teh sype settings, it says "imposible to connect, The correct connection settings were not apllied" or soemthing to that effect. I did install the data info from my service provider, and i can use teh browser with no trouble at all.
Can anyone please, please help me? Thanks.
PS: I'm in Argentina and my service provider is Personal.

Well, no can do. I mean, it does go in there, and there is 2 options, one is to add acc. point and the other is uncategorized (21 access points)... But whenever i try to open the 21 uncategorized ones, it gets stuck, i even tried taking the batt out and restoring manufactorer's settings.
Is there any way to delete a wi fi connection? i tried doing it but i cant seem to find the option to....

update: i just tried re-installing the device sw. It did not work. Not only did it not delete the connection info, which it was not to back up, but it stil comes up with the same problem

Skype not using my subscription minutes

I have got a Office 365 subscription that includes 60 minutes of monthly calls in Skype. However, Skype is not using those minutes and is instead using my cash credit. I thought it would use my subscription minutes after my cash credit ended but no... I could not make any calls afterwards. So it seems the subscription is active (it says 60 minutes left) but I can't really use those minutes. Any advice?

Skype subscription wont work

i have just activated Skype Premium with Unlimited World and Skype WiFi is active.
when trying to male a call it says it wont work as i need credits. checking my acount shows i have this subscription!
i once linked my hotmail account to skype could this be why? please can someone help?
