Skype Unlimited World Subscription and Call Forwar...

I have a Skype number and a U.S. Canada subscription. When I try to forward to a local number, I am told that I need Skype Credit or a Subscription. But I have a subscription.
I have tried this from both the browser and the windows desktop app. I have the latest version installed.
Please help!

I have skype unlimited subscription but when I call it says Skype credit is require. Then what is use of free unlimited subscription and I can not access tools easily its very difficult to find help tools help me to make free calls

I'm new to Skype and need some help. I am going to Italy for a while and would like to be able to call family using Skype. Some of them do not have Skype accounts which is where the following questions come from:
If I purchase the Skype Unlimited World subscription I am able to call mobile and landline numbers internationally, correct? (I will just be calling the U.S. from Italy)
Also, if I buy that subscription am I given a Skype number so that others may call me from their mobile and/or landline numbers?
Lastly, if people can call my Skype number from their mobile and/or landline numbers, are they charged for the call, or am I charged for the call?

1. If you are just calling to the USA you only need the Unlimited USA/Canada Plan @$2.99/month. This Plan enables you to call both landlines and cell phones in the USA from anywhere in the world including from within the USA.
2. No. You must purchase that separately.
3. A Skype Number is a regular landline # so calls to it will cost whatever the caller's carrier charges.

Skype Unlimited World Subscription not working

I subscribed to the 'worldwide unlimited free trial subscription' last night. It shows up on my web account that I've subscribed to it. When I login to Skype on my computer and try making a test call it doesn't work or show up. It keeps saying I need Skype Credit to make the call. I've tried logging in and out/quitting the application and all that, still nope. Any ideas?

Skype Unlimited World Subscription Payment Refused

If you have failed to pay due to credit card expiry or any other reason and once Skype has tried to charge you and they fail and cancel your subscription - you can't do anything to renew your subscription - or can you?
I have wasted three days and umpteen hours trying to renew my refused payment cancelled subscription - but no luck. Today I had even a call from their customer service to personally tell me that they can not do anything for me. So thats that.
But most annoying thing is that their own website says this -
"If your credit card expires (or the payment fails for any other reason), we will let you know that the recurring payment failed, and give you time to change your payment method and keep your subscription running.
If you don’t change your payment details in time and your subscription expires, you have up to 90 days to reactivate it by updating the payment method. By doing this, you can maintain your current subscription settings."

Unlimited World subscription but unable to call co...

Hi,
I have a unlimited world subscription and for some reason I'm unable to call to one of the countries that are in the list (Brazil), the phone I'm trying to call is a landline. Do I need to re-subscribe so the new countries for the unlimited world subscription works with my account?
BTW, I am using the format: +(country code) (area code) (number)

Unfortunately, as you initially purchased your subscription before the new countries were added, the destination Brazil is not included into your subscription.
What you can do is repurchase the subscription from the webpage, this way when the new subscription period starts (after the old already active subscription is over), the new subscription will be working for you.

Cannot call with unlimited world subscription

Hi
I have subscribed to Unlimited world subscription and had recently paid the bill for the month.
However, I cannot make a phonecall to Malaysia using the account. The phone keep showing the message insufficient credit. And prompted me to buy credits.

This is urgent and I need to make important call. Why doesn't Skype have a customer service hotline?
This is so frustrating.

I can see that you have tried to call a mobile in Malaysia, this is not included in your Subscription, you can call only landlines.

Hello, I got the free month of Unlimited World subscription and I am trying to call a landline number in Brazil, which is covered by Unlimited World, but I always get an error message saying that I need to buy Skype Credit or buy a subscription. Anyone having the same problem?

Please note that Skype subscriptions are recurring by default.
This means that, unless you cancel your payment agreement, the system will automatically charge you to renew it.
I checked your account and can confirm that your subscription is still set to recur automatically. You do not have to take any action on your end if you still wish to continue using it.

The Unlimited World subscription does not cover calling to any Indian telephone numbers - landlines or mobiles. There are subscriptions specifically for calling to India that cover calls to both landlines and mobiles. There are subscriptions for a fixed amount of calling per month (60, 120, or 400 minutes) and an "unlimited" plan (subject to Skype's fair-use policy).

I get a free voucher for Unlimited World 3 minutes and is activited. I tried to call the australia landline number but it says no credit (Insufficient credit - Add a little Skype Credit to your account to call mobiles and landlines at great low rates)

Unlimited world Subscription wont allow me to call...

So I have had an unlimited world calling subscription since 9/6 of 2010. In the past this service has worked but now it seems that when I try to dial any international numbers I get a message stating I have no credits left. When I check my account it shows my unlimited world subscription as active. How can I correct this issue. I am in a rush as I plan to be traveling to Eurpope in 2 days and was planning on this being my main means of communication.

Apologies for having to create a thread about this, however I'm unable to access the support page (keeps saying, "Error, please reload this page" when trying to select a category).
I have an active Premium with Unlimited World subscription (the free month offer), however I am unable to call any local landlines, it keeps saying "Not enough Skype credit."
I've read all the troubleshooting guides, saying to check you have an active subscription, etc etc... My account definitely shows an active Unlimited World subscription with unlimited minutes, and when looking through the Skype application it says I have 2 Active Subscriptions (assuming, Premium + Unlimited World).
Any help would be very appreciated.
