Slave ho comperato e installato OSX 10.8.4 e non funziona piu nulla!

Mac core 2 duo 2,66 ghz, 4 Gb ram del 2009, come nuovo, è ora peggio di un windows pc!!
Imovie si chiude e fa errore 3 volte prima di aprirsi. Iphoto si ferma per 1 minuto prima di aprirsi,
Safari non funziona piu!
Traktor della Native Instrument, software semplice per usare musica, necessario per il mio lavoro si blocca e fa molti errori,
ma era necessario dover installare OSX 10.8 per poterlo usare!
Pazzesco!!!!
Ora: speso oltre 1000 euro per un controller per questo software, il software non funziona, ho un Mac pagato oro come tutti i MAc e assurdo che sono settimane che sono davanti al PC per scrivere alle varie assistenze: tutti rispondono che il mio MAC è ottimo di prestazioni, e l'unico problema è OSX!!
Adesso chi mi risolve il problema??

I think that Aple must be a tested product before sold it... Many people has this problem and into 99% this make many problem at us work.. not for hobbyes..

Risolto!
Lanciato installazione di windows 8.1, eliminato completamente tutte le partizioni dal disco secondario e creato nuova partizione, a quel punto mi ha permesso di proseguire e completare l'installazione.

I am still having a problem getting Mail to work with OSX 10.6.8. Non of the fixes are working for me. Any help would be appreciated

Hi, tried the Apple fix, installing the OSX combo update followed by the Safari update followed by the security update, nothing.
Tried the thing where you toss the mail program in the trash and then install the security update, nothing.
Is there anyone else who has a problem even after all trhe fixes suggested here and in Apple support?

HELP Cant login on my MAC after changed in OSX Server all access for NONE

After changed for the users , roots , and another one , the access for NONE in one of the options in OSX Server to configure access just lost the capability to open the programs with the click of the mouse and turned off the MAC
I can't login now into my MAC , the display got the apple logo on startup and the login window doesn't come blocking me to login

Just tipped command key and S key and hold it and turned the mac on

Firefox 32.0.1 on OSX 10.9.4 breaks non-EV https. I get "sec_error_ocsp_server_error". FF version 32 was good.

When connecting to to a non-ev https site, I receive an OCSP error specified above. The https://support.mozilla.org site uses extended validation and I can get to it without a problem. The previous version of FF worked fine - no OCSP errors for non-ev sites.

I was able to solve my own problem.
Click on Firefox -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Certificates -> View Certs.->
then delete the certs and try again. This time it worked.

Come da titolo della discussione da quando ho installato ios6 la ricerca nel' appstore non funziona più.
Ho provato a resettare le impostazioni e reset profondo, ma non cambia nulla.
Questo problema rende la ricerca delle app estremamente difficoltosa.
Qualcuno ha la soluzione?
Prego gli sviluppatori di fare qualcosa a breve.

Quicksilver 800 won't see a Seagate Barracuda HD for OSX Install

I picked a used 2003 G4 Quicksilver 800 MHZ and it came with a WD400BB Cavier 40 HD formatted with OS 9.2
For some reason this HD has a jumper configuration for a SLAVE (even though the connector cable is Black)
Anyway, I installed a new Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM, 120 Gig that had it's jumper on 'Cable Select'

I connected it to the gray ATA/IDE cable, and booted with the C prompt - The system successfully booted off my Full Retail OSX disc with the C prompt, and I was able to go to Disc Utility just fine, and erased the new drive with the option of OSX Extended, (Journaled) - it seemed to erase fine
But after the installer program prompts get past the License Agreement, the process does NOT allow the install process to actually 'SEE' the new 120 Gig HD - There is NO DESTINATION to format to? It's just Blank ...
I can however see the new 120 Gig thru the disc utility, but NOT during the install process ....
Anybody have any ideas?

Thanx for your input - ya know something tells me I if I hadn't brought up the issue of the jumper assigments on the 2 internal HD's, I wonder if this does matter as to why to the newest 2nd internal HD that I just installed isn't recognized?
Yes it struck me odd that the original 40 Gig WD HD in the bottom bay, connected by a black-colored connector and that cable connector (as you say), is in the middle of the ribbon - and this particular drive had it's jumper set to 'SLAVE'
As The hatter surmises:
"The original owner probably just removed the master drive and kept that"
Ok - that being the case, do you guys think it will solve my problem to re-assign the newer larger drive (on top), as the 'MASTER'? Because Thomas mentioned that using 'Cable Select' for BOTH drives sometimes doesn't solve the problem.
Do you guys think if I re-assign the newer larger drive (on top), as the 'MASTER', then I will finally see the new drive recognized in the install process?
Let me mention something else:
Even if I didn't have the OSX (Full Retail) disc in the CDROM draw, and kept the new drive in the top bay, (with that new drive set to cable select), when I tried to boot to OS 9.2 (which had been previously installed in the old drive), all I got was the little tiny flashing Apple Icon with a "Question Mark", and the boot process would get stuck there.
Does all of this still point to improper jumper settings?
If so, it sounds like the ideal configuration should be one drive on 'Slave', and the other on 'Master'
So I'll try to keep OS 9.2 in the original HD set to 'Slave', and try to install OSX to the newer drive set to 'Master'

Login failure after update osx 10.5 server

i have a somewhat silly problem. I have installed OSX 10.5 server on a G5 DP 1.8 MAC Pro and have been using that for a couple of weeks. Now i installed an update today and since then i can't login to OSX anymore on my server. none of the user accounts have acces. and the same goes fot the administrator accounts i have set up..
i had this problem with 1 specifik account because it was registered to a group that had no acces directly to the server. but i see no reason for this to happen after an update.
so now i have no way to administer my server.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.

CS2 user on Mac OSX 10.8

I just upgraded to OSX 10.8 and now none of my CS2 programs will work. Is there a workaround to get them back up & running until I can upgrade to a newer CS version?

Yes, provided the copy you buy from eBay is not pirated and comes with a valid serial number which will be activated by Adobe.
Being certain that you're buying a legitimate copy of the software from eBay is very difficult based on descriptions and photos alone. There's no easy way to tell.

Are there any releases of Forte or another IDE for Java programming available when using Apple OSX?
If there are none then i'll just have to switch back to windows.

IDEs are more trouble than they are worth. Why not use Vim?
