SLD Track SC's Location in System information doesn't change

Hi ,All:
i have done job according to <NWDI Cookbook for XSS Customers Modification guide for XSS>
But when configuring the track with the J2EE Engine fields, the system information isn't updated (SAP_MSS component doesn't has a new Location,eg "SLD_xxxx").
My Portal Version is 7.3 and MSS version is 630
is there anything wrong with my system?
futhermore,How can i know which location of the same SC is currently activated to user?

Hi Experts,
I know there are business system and technical system registered and associated in SLD.
Especially for those SAP systems, in our normal PI scenario, how PI uses the technical information which was registered under Technical System in SLD since we need again configure the host/port and credentials details in the sender/receiver channel in ID.
Or SLD is just one central place for collecting all the technical information together only for life cycle management?
There is nothing more to do with the Tech System (SLD), PI only needs the business system in scenario.

Let me provide an example to describe the need fot technical systems.
Think of an outbound scenario : SAP ECC/CRM -> PI -> Third Party (ex: SOAP)
Now just think how PI will identify what the sender is (ECC/CRM or 3rd party) if the TS is not registered in SLD? The Business Systems are logical systems whcih points to Technical Systems (application systems that are installed in system landscape). TS hold the information about the actual systems, its host, IP, clients etc.
Now based on the source BS which points to TS, the target binding is done in Receiver Determination pipeline step. Now if there is no TS attached to the BS how can PI identify whether ECC or CRM is sending the data and hence will not be able to identify the relevant target for the source.
Think of Business Systems as sitting on top of Technical Systems, and when the landsape details are not known for third party systems we use Business Component/Business Service.

Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, EasyFind, instead.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.

Can I embed C# Email code in .pdf file to send user and system information when it opens on system

I have a pdf on my system. When I opened it it should email the current user account and system information( like IP, Windows login Id). If the system does not have internet it should not show the error.
Is it possible? If so could you suggest a way or provide a link.
Due to security we want this feature.

You could track the user's email login/IP address if you secure the file using DRM (LiveCycle, etc.), but a PDF which sends silent emails containing personal data about a user would be considered a trojan by the vast majority of people.

Help! External hard drive (WD) doesn't show up anywhere (except for in System Information)...

Hi,
My WD hard drive (160 gb, 3-4 years old) all of a sudden won't show up in Disk Utility or Finder.
Prior to this, I got an error message, saying something like "back up your data and reformat the disk", and I bought myself a new hard drive (a Verbatim) for this. When I connected the two hard drives, the WD wouldn't show up anywhere, except for in System Information, where the following message is displayed under "USB":

I'd have to agree with WZZZ. That sounds like either a bad connection, bad cable, or faulty supply. The port could be bad as well but the cable either being bad or not properly plugged in or maybe even worn out. When the "disk ejected" message shows up it's usually because somehow the cable was yanked out of the system while it was plugged in. Intermittenet connections in the cable, particularly in supply lines between the drive and the unit can cause this to happen as well...it's as if you unplugged the external hard drive from the system for a very short time, but the system still picks it up and sees it as bad.

No system information found in LMDB

I'm facing a problem when register an ERP6.0 IDES system(ES8) to solman 7.1SP11(SMP). I run rz70 in the ERP system and then I find this technical system in SLD, as follows:
But until now I haven't find this system in LMDB, the SAP_LMDB_LDB_0000000001 job runs normally,as follows:
I try to register other system to SMP and it works, the only difference is that I had registered ES8 to SMP before. But due to some issues I deleted the ES8 from LMDB several days ago, now I can't find it in LMDB anymore.
Dear experts, Do you know why this phenomenon happens and give me some advice?

I create an empty ES8 in LMDB and run the report as Jansi mentioned, the system information appeared in LMDB,
but another strange thing happens. when I click the Configure System button, this page appeared:
It seems that it begin to configure the database system, since the ED8 is the database SID.Is it a bug or something? Could you tell me how to do then? Thank you.

I'm doing exactly the same in both projects.The OS loads the library into the process space.
You know it works in java. Thus it means specifically that it is an environment problem. It is not a java problem and it is not a library problem.
The problem is that the library fails to load.
General reasons for loading failures. There might be others.
- It isn't a library. Can't be this because you got it to work already.
- It has dependencies, other libraries, that don't exist or are not in the shared library path.
- It isn't in fact the same as the other webstart app. Different location, different coniguration, permissions problem, something else.

System Information Utility forces open at startup

Hi everyone,
Recently when I boot my Macbook Pro, the System Information utility app opens immediately without prompting. It does not open a window but the icon pops up in the dock. When I click the icon, it opens a system report window. And then if I try to quit System Information it immediately opens a new instance of it. Force quit produces the same result. This happens just about every fourth start up, not every time. So a restart fixes the problem, but then it happens again a couple reboots later. I had my keyboard replaced recently but no other developments. Please let me know if you have any advice or troubleshooting.

No Disk utility app or System information app or AirPort Utility app

since upgrading to Maverick these System apps (Disk utility app, Activity Monitor app, Systems Information app and Airport Utility app) are all in shadow with a cross through them. why? at first i waited becourse i thought apple would update but it seems to be just me.

When you upgraded, were they in their default locations or did you move them to a different folder? Updates don't go looking around the computer for the Apps. If they are not in the default location they are skipped.
You could try installing the 10.9.2 combo update. That might update them.

FWIW, I just got off the phone with Apple technical support about this. I use Genuis for creating playlists, so I don't want to disable it, but Apple support confirmed that there is no way to avoid syncing Genius data without disabling Genius altogether. I'd read somewhere else that subscribing to iTunes Match might allow you to avoid this, but that is NOT the case, as I've confirmed, and Apple support has confirmed. For me, it routinely syncs thousands genius of items, so I have to allow a lot of time for my manual syncs.

Error while reading PO in backend system Inform system adiministrator

Hi All,
I am working on extended classic scenario and the problem is that after the PO ís ordered it gives the message " Error while reading PO in backend system Inform system administrator" and this is happening only for a particular local PO.
When I check the PO number in R/3 it does not exist.
The number range is correct both in SRM and R/3 (external no. range is ticked).
Also I could not find any logs in RZ20 nor a dump.
When I checked in bbp_pd, couldnt find any relevant information except that the PO has the status ordered.
I am on SRM version BBPCRM 4.0 SAPKU40007
R/3 version 4.6 C SAPKH46C47

No System Information in Service Desk message creation

Hello,
I'm trying out all the ways to use de message creation in service desk.
When i try to create a message directly from SOLMAN_WORKCENTER\Incident Management
No infos are filled in System Information and so i can't send the message. I can't even choose one
I checked in transaction BP but i can't put the finger on it..
