Slice image OK in DW, but not on web?

I am attempting to create my first sliced image using CS3 and
DW.
The image loads properly in DW, but when I refresh it in a
browser it has extra spacer.gif created a maligned image? Any
thoughts on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. I have a
feeling it has to do with the spacer.gifs images. I tried loading
one page without any spacer.gifs linked, then I tried all the
spacer.gifs linked and finally I tried removing some of the
spacer.gifs, there is a whole set of them at the bottom of the
html. All three versions yielded bad looking page loads.
This page starts to load properly, then just before the
images are done it breaks up

Here is the code with all the spacer.gifs listed:

  • Can I use split screens on and extra monitor I have. I can get mirror image on both screens, but not a split screen. The monitor is 1600 x 900.

Can I use split screens on an extra monitor I have? I can get a mirror image on both screens, but not a split screen. The monitor is 1600 x 900 AOC 20inch monitor. Hope I haven't wasted my money buying this £69 monitor. My 13" Macbook Pro is a little small for my ageing eyes. Thanks

In the display settings on your computer uncheck "mirrored". This will put the displays in "extended" mode. In extended mode you can set the external display to its native resolution as well as drag windows from your computer to the external monitor. I assume that is what you mean when you say "split screen".

  • Swap images works in preview but not in browser

    Hi everyone,
I am attempting to get a swap images to work.  It works in the preview window but not when I preview it in the browser.  When I open it in a browser the states seem to "cycle" through really quickly in rapid succession.  I have linked my png file for you to see.  Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    denbeck

Your swap image slice is set to Animated GIF. Change it in the Optimize panel to plain GIF or PNG 8

  • Images Viewable in Firefox But Not In Explorer, Safari, Chrome.

I have a coldfusion page with images. The images are called up dynamically from my Mysql database. The image field with my database has the datatype "char(100)". All that is stored in that database field is the file path to the folder of which the image is stored which is: \photos\RSL\1.jpg.
On my webpage, the image placeholder looks like this:
    <a href="#Unit_Info.comphoto1#"><img src="#Unit_Info.comphoto1#" alt="" name="1" width="98" height="73" /></a>
This images display just fine on Firefox, But Not In Explorer, Safari, & Chrome. These latter three just show a broken image. Could there be something wrong with either my coldfuson or Mysql file path where each of the letter three browsers are trying to access?
I'm running Coldfusion 9 on my local machine, using OS Window 7 Professional.

When I hard coded the file path it worked. I checked the source code and saw no white space. I even went to each browser's options dialog box to make sure that the show image options were checked. It may be my coding. In my image folder there are categories  of other folders within folders that have images of which Coldfusion calls up whenever the browser needs it. Could that be the problem? Should I have all of my 300 images in one folder?

  • PDF images visible in Adobe but not Preview or Mac Mail's Quick Look

I have a PDF that I am inserting an ad into. I copy and paste the ad from one PDF into another. The problem I am having is when I have the final 10-page PDF with the ad inserted in it, you can open the 10-page PDF in adobe and the ad will be visible, but if you open it in Preview or using Mac Mail's Quick Look, the ad isn't there. When I open the original file with the ad in it (that I copied and pasted the ad from) in Quick Look or Preview, the ad appears. I need to know why the ad isn't showing up after it is copy and pasted into a new PDF?
files can be viewed below or at this address:
    http://6letters.com/help/
"lanai3_Grand Jewels-001Winning.pdf" is the document I am copying the ad from
"lanai_122211.pdf" is the document I am pasting the ad into. The ad is on page 10. The ad is viewable in Adobe Acrobat but not in Preview or Mac Mail's Quick Look.
I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 (version 9.4.6) to do the copy/paste/save.
I just clicked the above link and the ad doesn't show up online now either. It is supposed to be in the blank space on page 10.
    Any help much appreciated!!!!!!

    Hi,
Acrobat 9 and older versions paste images as a stamp/comment which (that poorly functional) Preview cannot see, so you need to "flatten" the page if you want to see a pasted picture in Preview.
(Preview, Mail and QuickLook shares the same rendering library)
You can easily flatten one or several pages in a PDF using this free tools: http://abracadabrapdf.net/articles.php?lng=fr&pg=717

  • Draw to Image like BufferedImage.createGraphics(), but NOT in FX2's thread

Hi. I want to draw some shapes in fx2's Image. Canvas.shapshot() can not be run outside fx's own thread, what gives various trouble, like either out of order drawing or delays on semaphores, On top of that, the code is complex and slow -- all drawing is performed probably on just a single thread, and the app starts to behave suspiciously, like a snapshot to an image within Platform.runLater results in that image drawn elsewhere by fx2 as if it were transparent, even that the image should never be transparent.
Is fx2 currently not able to do any concurrent plain drawing?

    >
Is fx2 currently not able to do any concurrent plain drawing?Yes, this is currently the case. To my opinion this is a serious shortcoming of JFX2 which I have complained about already several times but nobody seems to care (except you :-)).

  • Iso image playing in windows, but not in mac

torrent site for the iso image is:
    http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/119383481/ccie?tab=summary#.UGby8mg1FFI
it's a cisco network concept tutorial, it is playing on a windows laptop on windows xp, vista or 7.
I understand that wmv player cannot be played in mac osx, there is a suggestion to run either wine or flip4mac
wine, i am so sorry to be a pain but I get keep getting error messages during installation and it is not successful.
flip4mac I was able to install but I can't seem to make the iso work,
it mounts perfectly displaying 3 files:
    autorun.inf
    files
    index.hta
clicking index.hta will display the website with all the lessons on the left side, click on it and it will play the video on the website, it works on windows but I can't seem to make it work in Safari.
I tried Opera, the website seems to appear but not all of the words, when I click for the lessons on the left side, it only opens an opera browser on a black blank browser.
Please help since I have just shifted to Mac this month, I tried Mac because I believe I can run GNS3 better in it.
    Pardon for my MAC ignorance,
    from your MAC noob.

It reformatted itself? I've never heard of that before.
Like I said earlier, if the iPod is Windows formatted it should work on a Mac because Macs are capable of handling FAT32 files. If it's Mac formatted it won't work on Windows without the aid of 3rd party add on software.
I'm still puzzled as to whether or not you need to sync the iPod to iTunes on both Mac and Windows computers.
    Have you seen these?
iPod doesn't appear in iTunes or on the Mac desktop.
iPod does not appear in iPod Updater or iTunes in Mac OS X.
iPod appears on the Mac OS X desktop but not in iTunes.

  • Image rotated in bridge but not photoshop

    Hi All,
    re: CS5 bridge and photoshop
I rotated a bunch of images in bridge.  But, they did not rotate 180degrees in photoshop.  The orientation is noted in the EXIF metedata.
I saw this rotation command performed on a CS5 video tutorial.
Can you tell me what setting in bridge or photoshop is preventing the conversion in photoshop?
    Thanks,

    Windows 7 64bit
    CS5 bridge 4042
    CS5 photoshop 1203

What type of RAW files are we talking about, NEF,CR2 or other?
Bridge is just a flle browser, and RAW files are opened and edited in Adobe Camera Raw.  Do you just get a thumbnail, but it willl not open in ACR?
Does ACR work with other RAW images that have not been corrupted.
Do you have a backup (highly recommended) of these images somewhere?  Should be on seperate physical drive or on a DVD.

  • After viewing & closing an image, can delete it, but not its containing folder.

I’m going through a bunch of old files to see what I can git rid of.
When I view and then close an image in Photoshop CS6 I can delete the image file, but not its containing folder, which stays locked, even after closing Photoshop.  Restarting and closing Photoshop again usually enables me to delete the folder — but not always.  Sometimes I have to close everything and log out and back in to be able to delete the folder.  (BTW, Acrobat and Illustrator also share this problem.)
When you have, as I do, hundreds of files to go through, this becomes a real hassle.

I suspect Photoshop, as a part of the file open operation, has set its current "default directory" to the folder in which you're working.  You could prove that by opening  a file in another folder and seeing if the prior folder is still unable to be deleted.
Are you using Bridge in any part of this process?  Seems to be a better match for what you're doing.
If you'd rather not use Bridge, have you considered using Windows Explorer and a viewer application instead of Photoshop to look through these images?  IrfanView or possibly even Windows Photo Viewer with a codec pack come to mind.

  • Why is Image in design view but not in browser?

Why when I insert an image from root folder it shows in design but not in live view or browser? I have opened a new blank html page and still no image will show up.

Do you have an editable region in your main Template head tags?
Just so you know.  Making a template out of an HTML document is just about the last step in your design process.
First build your prototype.html page so that everything performs well in all browsers.  When you're completely satisfied with how it looks, then Save As Template.dwt.
Add editable regions for content that will change from page to page.
Spawn New page from template and save as index.html for your home page.  Repeat for other site pages.

  • Approve/Post Journal works in 32-bit, but not the web Client?

We have HFM 4.01 sp2 and sometimes when a user tries to approve/post a journal in the HFM Web Client they receive a security error (even though they have the post role and ALL access to the Entity), then they login to the 32-bit client and they can approve/post the same journal? Why?
    Thanks,
    Tom

The user in question has all the security he needs. . . post journal role, ALL access to the scenario, entity, etc. or it wouldn't work in the 32-bit (windows) client either. I want to know why he received an error in the Web Client, but NOT the windows client?

  • Lightbox works on computer but not on web...

    Help!
I have used Lightbox2 and other lightboxes before, so I am a little used to how they work.
I wanted to not clutter my site any more than necessary, and so I left the Lightbox files in the original Lightbox2 folder; my files are outside the folder.
I corrected the links to the javascript and css files on my page.
The page previews correctly on my computer; but, when uploaded to the web, Lightbox2 does not work.
Why would Lightbox work correctly on my computer, but not on the web? Here is a link to one of the pages in question:
    http://www.oldmanmountain.com/Pages/RackPages/RearRacks.html
Another question...Lightbox says we should check the links in the lightbox.js file to make sure the loading and close box links are correct. How do I point to these files? From the javascript file? or from the page file? I have tried everything and cannot get the close box to show on my computer (let alone on the web, where Lightbox doesn't seem to work at all).
Another reason for wanting the Lightbox files in their own folder is that I used to put the Lightbox files relative to the page that Lightbox was used on so I wouldn't have to change the links. I would rather have just one Lightbox folder for the entire site, and I would prefer to have it in its own folder. I posted this question on StackOverflow, but no one answered.
    Thank you!

    Hi,
in my IE8 your lightbox works (after a while of waiting) like this:
I only miss the both buttons: "closelabel.gif" and "loading.gif".

  • Adding pages, lost everything in iweb but not on web itself,

Okay, so I am new, did the tutorial to set up a web site. Had four pages finished, three already published, did not publish the fourth. I then went to add a photo page and all other pages are gone on the iweb building area. The first three pages are on the web, but not listed in the site organizer. Now what do I do to save the pages on the web when I publish and to return the web pages to my site organizer. yikes!! I spent hours on this project and am worried I will lose it all. thanks

Go to Varkgirl's site and download her Automator backup application. It creates a copy of the Domain.sites file and puts it where you want. A smart thing to do after any session with iWeb.
Also if you expect to have multiple sites you might think about using iWebSites. It's to iWeb as iPhoto Library Manager is to iPhoto.
I use iWebSites to manage multiple sites.. It lets me create multiple sites and multiple domain files.
If you have multiple sites in one domain file here's the workflow I used to split them into individual site files with iWebSites. Be sure to make a backup copy of your Domain.sites files before starting the splitting process.
This lets me edit several sites and only republish the one I want.

I am very new to JSP but I am running the Java runtime on a Unix

    Interesting.
    - Does the page look identical in each browser
though?Yes, the pages look identical in every other way.
    - When you click a box to expand the tree does it load
a new page or is it handled through some client side
scripting like Javascript? No new page is loaded, a Javascript handles the "+" boxes.
    - What versions of Netscape have you found it didn't
work?I've tried it out on v4.75 as well as v6.2, no success with either.
Someone else mentioned to me that it sounds like a Javascript problem. I've worked with Javascript for a couple of years now, but I've never seen these "+" boxes used before, so I'm in new territory as far as those are concerned. Thanks!
