Slide "ON" button for I Phone 4S
When I slide the button to turn on the phone; it goes to the end but does not turn on the phone . I can hear a delayed teletale "click" but the phone does not come on. If I try to shut it off; that doesn't work either. After a whille it comes back on by itself.
Delete background apps from memory and Reset. Press the Home button twice quickly, in the new row of icons at screen bottom, tap and hold on an icon until the Red Minus Signs appear. Tap all the Red Minus Signs. When done, Reset, hold both the Home and Power buttons until the iPhone restarts itself, ignore the "slide to power off", let iPhone restart itself, usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons. See if iPhone functions better.

Possible to have mouse activated slider with buttons for selection
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has/is or if this can be dome easy enough....
For example, instead of placing a row of buttons on the bottom of the template, instead, is it possibloe to have a mouse activated slider that the buttons are on and is activated when the mouse hovers over it.....?

RosscoCaptivate 7 has an option to show playbar on hover. It becomes available when you select Overlay Playbar. But this only applies to the standard skins that come with Captivate. It won't help your specific need to have a set of buttons appear on hover over a hit area.
It should be possible to do what you want. But you'll need to group the buttons, give the group a name, create separate advanced actions that apply a fly-in and fly out effect to the group, then execute these actions via an event. In your case you want the event to occur as a result of a rollover and rollout on a hit area.
Captivate's slidelet object has a rollover event, but no rollout event you can use.
The only way I know to have both rollover and rollout events is to use the Infosemantics Event Handler widget:

Any apps for screen off button ,without using power button? Similar to screen off for Android phone?
Any apps for screen off button for i phone 6 plus ,its convenient as i phone 6 plus is big and not convenient to use power button to turn screen off.Andriod phone does have this apps call "screen off"
After again experiencing problems I took the iMac back to the reseller where I bought it. They were able to replicate the defect and I received a new logic board. The invoiced cost (covered by warranty, luckily!) was $1,067 for the logic board and $85 for labor. The hard drive was erased but OSX Tiger was pre-installed when I picked up the computer. (BTW, Backup 3 is a very nice backup utility!) Now my iMac seems to be working perfectly, and the energy saver/sleep function works normally again.

How to create buttons for each slide in slideshow
I currently have a slideshow working with prev and next buttons,
but would like to add numbered buttons for each slide at bottom of images,
with a static number for the active slide that has a colored circle around that number.
I can create static number with colored circle in Photoshop and add that to a layer,
but it's labor intensive to do that for all numbers.
Is there a better way to create the highlighted numbers for active slide?
For numbered buttons that link to non-active slides, I can create numbers in Photoshop and import images into Flash,
then convert to symbols and assign actions for them,
But that too is labor intensive to do for all the numbers.

I'd also like to have a hover function on the numbered buttons,
that changes from plain image of number to number with colored circle like I want to use for active slide.
How do I assign a hover function to button symbol, that will load another image or symbol?Try to think in terms of having reusable symbols. Think it thru before you try it.
Use a movieclip symbol instead of a button. Have a dynamic textfield in that movieclip for the number, and set the textfield to not be selectable. Have one frame of this movieclip where it displays as the highlighted (selected) one and have the movieclip go there where you are on that slide.
Use the textfield for the number--assign it dynamically so that you don't have to import an image for it. Use as many of these movieclips as you need to for all your buttons.
Have functions that reset all the buttons at once so that when you move to a new slide, the previously selected one goes back to mormal... follow that with setting the newly selected one to be in its "selected" frame. -

Try resetting the iPhone by just holding the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo.

Blue question marks for slide shows buttons.
Good day iWeb list,
All of a sudden the Play/Pause, Back and Forward buttons for my slide shows have turned into a generic looking blue question marks.
I noticed one other user having a similar issue a while back, and I believe the remedy was to re-publish the entire site. I've tried that to no avail. Resetting cache has not affect as well.
Any thoughts?

I've noticed that safari 4 sometimes does the ? thing with images... almost like it doesn't finish loading sometimes. Not sure if it's provider traffic or safari related but it can be annoying.

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your iPhone.
The article below will provide some troubleshooting steps for this issue:
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 15 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.

where is the agree button on I phone 4 to agree to new updated terms and conditions for downloading new apps? read all info all 54pages but no agree button at end?
Try first signing out of the iTunes and App Store in Settings>iTunes and App Stores (tap on your apple ID and choose sign out) then sign back in.
Then do a hard reset, hold down the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time until you see a white Apple then release.
Then go ahead and try again, should work.

My Ipod is frozen. I've tried holding the power and the sleep button for 10 sec until the apple came on the screen. After this i've tried again to turn it off and to slide the unlock button, but it didn't work! Any Ideas????
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Try restarting it. If this does not work, then hard restart it which is holding the power and home button until the product ***** off. If this does not help either, plug it into the computer and restore it. Make sure you back up the device before you restore it though!
