Slideshow in CS4 does then does not show photos and thumbnails

When I create a slideshow in Firewords CS4 and DO NOT move any photos or enter any captions, it displays fine.

When I re open the slide show and move photos up and down create captions, the generator gives me blank thumbnails and blank photos. http://photos.abelson.com/israel/
Anyone have any thoughts?

I am not sure if I closed and re opened the project.
I DID click on CREATE a second time, since I had made changes.

Ralph9430 offers a good suggestion. But you may need to do this before taking his advice:
Check in iPhoto's Preferences (which you can open from the iPhoto menu). Look in General, and make sure "Connecting Camera Opens" is set to "Image Capture").
If it is set to "iPhoto", you won't be able to get to Image Capture easily.

Organizer not showing photos in thumbnails...only getting grey square w/hour glass

The organizer is only showing a blank grey square as the thumbnail and not the actual photo. However, once I click on the thumbnail, the photo pops up and is veiwable. This is a problem that just recently started. All of my other photos, in other albums, are viewable as thumbnails in the organizer.

Is the problem specific to some particular images?Does right click>Update thumbnails helps?
It would be good if you could recreate your thumbnials.

People Photo Stacks not showing photo and how to change that photo

I had a very large database of images that I ocnverted from PSE 10. All is well, except for this rather glaring annoyance. When the People is clicked to show the people photo stacks, many of the stacks only have a standard icon instead of the others that have a photo.
First, how to get photos instead of icons?
Second - How to change the photo shown?

If you are using face recognition you can reveal the people tags using the View menu. They are hidden by default.
People tags are new in PSE11. In previous versions they were simply keywords.
If you enable people tags in the Media browser you will get a combined list of imported people keywords and people tags. Although in the People browser you will only get thumbnail stacks for the new people tags. Thumbnails for people keywords will display as blank. To run people recognition click the Add people icon in the task bar at the bottom.
To chose a thumbnail for the top of each stack double click to ipen the stack, Select one of the faces and right click. Then choose Assign as Profile Picture.

You need to go back to the person you bought it from. Sounds like they may have sold you phone that is not as described.

On windows 8.1 charms bar does not show up and the touch functionality is also degraded

upgraded my elitepad 900 to windows 8.1 . after this the charms bar does not show up and the touch functionality is also degraded while playing games. i believe i need the latest synaptics gesture suite. Cannot find it. Please help.

IPhoto does not show photos in my iPhone

Hi!
As the title has said, my iPhoto does not show photos from my iPhone, but it DOES recognize that iPhone is connected.
But before all of this happened, I changed my setting (which I forgot how to reset that) to NOT open iPhoto automatically when my phone is connected.
And also, a week ago, my iPhone usb cable seems to be spoiled at one end. It can still connect the phone to the laptop, but very loosely - as if some wires inside are broken.
So I really do not know if the problem I mentioned is caused by my setting OR is it because of my spoiled cable (that it could not transfer the photos from the phone)
And if it is believed that it is caused by my setting, could you please guide me on how to re-set the whole thing?

Ps. I can still sync my songs in itunes to my music in iPhone.

Launch iPhtoto.
In the menu, iPhoto>Preferences>General.
Change it back.

Don't understand your question - "manage storage"? What are you trying to do? Are you trying to connect to your computer? Are you trying to free up some storage space?
How much space is used by your Other? You may be able to reduce.

Not all movies qualify for download on demand from iTunes in the Cloud, the rights may be reserved by the content provider and can vary by region. What response have you had from iTunes Store support?
If you have still have the computer they were on it might be possible to extract the hard drive, mount it in an external drive bay and recover the content from it.
