In the new downloaded I photo life 11, slideshow is not working, nor making an album. What to do?

Try a reset:
1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together)
2. For about 10 seconds
3. Until you see the Apple logo (very important)
4. Ignore the red slider

Notes not working. Only shows weird codes?

It show like six little weird code things when I put a document into my notes. I tried saving it as a .txt and it didn't work plz help. Im using Windows XP with Word processor as the program. Thanks.

try this
open notepad and your document copy all your document into the notepad and save as txt file on your notepad. then drag the txt doc into notes of your ipod.
saving as txt doesnt always just save it as pure words.

Imessage is not working, but only for one particular contact.

I cannot send/recive imessages from one particular contact, messages are sent as SMS. All other contacts are fine with imessaging, so why just this particular one? Please help??!!

If you can send imessage to other users execpt for this one particular person. Then the issue would be with him/her and not your phone. That person will have to figure out whats going on.

Airdrop is working, but only showing one computer.

So I have a macpro and a macbook pro, both preinstalled with Lion. My macbook pro can see my macpro airdrop, but not the other way. I mean I guess I can just use basic networking, but would like to figure this out. What settings can I check on my macpro to make it visible in airdrop?

Well, I found the cause of the problem. Turns out I was running iStumbler at the same time and this was causing the problem.

HT1711 How do I get a album that I purchased already to show the whole album. After the lastest upgrade it only shows one song from the album. I tried repurchasing it but it says that is already purchase but will not re download. Please help.

The large text size makes your post almost impossible to read.
Excessive use of bold or capitals (also) makes posts difficult to read.
You can drag most of the column headings left or right, or right-click on the header to turn columns on or off.
Once you've used File > Display Duplicates or Shift > File > Display Exact Duplicates you can use File > Display All or the Display All button at the bottom of the list to restore the display.

Mail does not work with ONLY ONE e-mail address

I am using mail with 6 different e-mail addresses all using godaddy as my mail server. Some(4) are imap, some(2) are pop3.
All of my e-mails work great except for 1 (which is imap). My iPhone and iPad as well as entourage all work for this e-mail address. It is only Mail that does nto work all the time.
This is the frustrating part. It works some times, and not others. No rhyme or reason to it. When it is not working, the only way to make it work right away is to delete the account and re-install the account. Some times, it will just start working on it's own. The worst part, is whenever I bring it in to a genius to look at it, it starts working, and of course, they say nothing is wrong.
Any thoughts on how to fix this???

Okay, it works the same way for me. I'm not sure whether "open all" will come back in that case, where there's only one bookmark. Does it slow down your workflow a lot to middle-click on the bookmark itself instead of on the folder?

Try searching for the name of one of your videos on the iPad's spotlight search screen - swipe your first homescreen to the right, type in it's name, and if it finds it tap on it to see if it plays.
If that doesn't work then try closing the Videos app via the taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Videos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Videos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option if the two above don't work is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Only showing one case of group 2

I have group1 as Department and group2 as order type. I am trying to show simple thing like this.Sum of order amts by order type but this is what is displaying:
Dept            Ordertype
Medals      $100
Schools     $100
Trophy       Internet
                $300
but only shows the first order type
the problem is only shows one order type only for 1 of the departments, the last one. but all departments have many order types.

As usually your workaround not to change..Please replace the group footers fields means like that
Group Footer 2 : {Group#1 Name}      {R Total 5}
Group Footer 1 : {Group#2 Name}      {R Total 6}
See all order types display or not? I hope this seems to work..

Flash Slideshows Suddenly not working

Hi All,
My site is "www.neilmarksphotography.com"
I have 5 pages leading off "GALLERY" menu option, which all contain flash slideshows created in Lightroom. They have all been working fine, but today I slightly changed the content of the slideshows, and now they are not working - they just show the "GET ADOBE FLASH PLAYER" icon. The home page (index.html) is working fine - I have not changed the code there at all.
I have tried to compare the code in the changed gallery pages with the home page, but cannot see what I have done to stop all the galleries from working properly. GALLERY pages are previewing fine locally off the hard drive. It's only on the live page that I am getting the problem
Any suggestions?

It may be that your pages are cached in your browser, (viewing locally, in browser), or that the Google analytics code is being ignored by dreamweaver, (if working in dreamweaver), as this requires a live page /server.

Just updated to Iphoto 9.1.3 but the slideshow feature not working at all. Screen goes white but any features selected, nothing is produced .The themes preview windows are blank too. is there something missing?

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List.

Here's how I fixed the issue.
I did an iCloud backup
Did a full reset
Restored backup and guess what.... it didn't fix the problem.
However.... here is what did fix the problem
I went into Settings --> Messages
Listed under the "Send & Receive" button it only showed one address listed.
On the 'You can be reached by iMessage at' it only had my email address there with a check mark. My phone number was unchecked but i couldn't check it for some reason. So what I did was click on my Apple ID at the Top and choose view account. Entered in my password and that made the phone number show as checked. Then I started getting iMessages on my iPhone again. If that doesn't work. Click on Apple ID at the top and choose LOCATION

I only show one iCloud on my IPhone that can do a restore. I synced it with my MacBook Pro and I think that may have messed things up. Prior to that I have several backups. Will a "genius" be able to access the info I need?

If things seem to be going haywire with your phone, it seems that it MAY be a software issue.
Now, that being said, that does not necessarily mean that it is a virus. Software issues do happen sometimes. It is probably just coincidence.
What you need to do is restore the device using iTunes. This will fix any software issues. After you have done this, you can restore from an iCloud backup.
iCloud does not back up the actual software, so no, the "virus" would not have gotten into the backups.

Don't worry! Everything should be back to normal if you follow these steps.
