I have cleared the cache and cookies multiple times, updated flash player, did a virus and malware scan, allowed java script, allowed mozilla in the Windows firewall, contacted Zynga multiple times, and yet Farmville still will not load using Firefox, my main and preferred browser. Flash website is not loading in firefox, but loads in Chrome - how do I debug / fix this?

When I go to a flash web site that I have a subscription to (stock market data), it does not load, but the same page loads in Chrome (Chromium). That is the best info I have right now. I have latest flash on firefox 18.

Actually, this occurred to me later this afternoon, but I use Gentoo, which normally builds from source (cuz I am hardcore like that). I uninstalled the normal build and reinstalled the prebuilt binary and everything works. I am happy again and just need to play around with the source build options, which I can do later.

Whenever I open Firefox I get the message 'Problem loading page' on every website I try. This just started today. I am having the same issue with IE, but Chrome is working fine. It is not a problem with my internet, as Chrome and my PS3 have no problem connecting to the internet.

Thanks, turns out I got a virus somehow. BWContextHandler32.exe is reporting itself to my firewall as the game BulletStorm, which I do not have, and somehow attached itself to Firefox and probably IE as well. I figured it was bogus so I blocked it. Still not sure why it just started blocking Firefox. I was denying access to it for a couple days, darn procrastination, and Firefox was working fine. Now I just have to get rid of it...I really hate windows sometimes...

Michael's Weekly Ad does not load in Firefox, but it loads in Internet Explorer

My wife and I have different computers, and she is interested in many ads for craft stores and the like. As such, she's been telling me how the Michael's Weekly Ad (http://weeklyad.michaels.com) does not load on her computer. Just for a kick, I thought I'd try it on mine, fully expecting it not to load, but then it did. I have double-checked everything I can think of; I have completely updated her add-ons (which turned out to be useless anyway because after disabling ALL of mine, the ad still loaded), I checked to make sure our version of Firefox match, and I have tried using search engines (Google) to locate any similar problems to no avail. Is there any explanation available (and ideally fixing whatever is wrong)?

A lot of content on that page is loaded via JavaScript, so she may be blocking some scripts on that page if it sin't displaying prolerly.
If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Why will twitpic pictures not load in firefox but will in internet explorer?

Why suddenly have twitpic pictures stopped loading in Firefox. They load in internet Explorer but just stopped loading on the twitpic site in Firefox??

The pictures load OK for me, with twitpic on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see [https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Site+Identity+Button]) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Images+or+animations+do+not+show
Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
I have tried safe mode with networking amongst other things but I just cant get this darn site to load on Firefox
As I said it loads fine on Internet Explorer 9.

Some websites not loading in Firefox but load in Chrome. Weirdly fixed itself. But why?

Hi.
I had a very strange problem this morning. Firefox wouldn't load about 75% of the websites I usually visit. These sites were accessible via other devices in the house. So I downloaded Chrome to my desktop and was able to access those sites from Chrome.
So I went back to Firefox to continue trying to troubleshoot what the problem was that Firefox had suddenly developed. But all of a sudden, everything was loading again in Firefox.
Now I didn't do anything other than installing Chrome and importing my bookmarks.
So this sounds a bit wonky and mysterious to me.
Does anybody have any ideas about what might have happened and why?

This seems to have been a problem with BT Broadband, they've posted an apology and had some sort of weird outage.
So not a problem at my end at all.
Weird that switching to Chrome seemed to resolve it though, but I guess that might just have been a co-incidence.
Not sure how to close my own question?

Pictures on Firefox add-ons pages will not load in Firefox but will in IE

My operating system is now Windows 7 on a new computer although I use Firefox, not IE to browse the internet. I am having problems on the Firefox website, especially the add-ons pages. If I click on any pictures relating to add-ons I get a blank page but if I switch to IE I can see the pictures. This is frustrating because I did not have this problem on my old, XP operated computer.

Imgur pictures do not load in firefox, but work fine in IE.

Embedded images in forums hosted in imgur (e.g. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/oBNUb.jpg[/IMG] )won't load when using firefox.
This does not happen when using IE.
Also, the images load properly when I paste the image's url in the adress bar (e.g. http://i.imgur.com/z1oHH.jpg ).
When clicking on a link to a imgur page (e.g. http://imgur.com/uIPsM ) the whole page will load, except for the image.
I have disabled all firewalls and antivirus software, it still doesn't work. I also deleted cache&cookies, fooled around with some connection settings and rebooted. Still no success. What bothers me is that imgur works perfectly fine with IE.

Upgraded to ff4 , no video but sound and chat are ok on justin.tv. Ended up downgrading back to 3.6 and voilla, all is well again!!!

Safari will not load any pages but chrome does on my ipad3

When I click on a link in safari, it takes forever to load and often says server not found. Yet, if I use chrome, no problems. Unfortunately safari is the default. Any solutions possible for safari? Thanks

This is strange. Our two iPads and work laptops (Windows) have no problem accessing the web so I know the Comcast cable internet connection and Motorola wireless router are working just fine. I did hook up a new wireless Brother printer and have the two affected Mac's set up to print to them. I am starting to think that maybe the issue causing my problems and the software update was just coincidental. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks for reading my discussion.

HTML Page with Flash Video will not load in Firefox and Chrome

When going to the page http://www.airsept.com/linespliceanimation.html in Firefox (latest version) I am prompted to either open or save the file as if I clicked a link to download a file. Going to this web page in Google Chrome displays the code.
What the crap is going on? I can't figure it out. It works as it should in IE 7.
