Slideshow pics in dreamweaver

I have a Dreamweaver site under construction and on one of the pages I would like the main image section to have a slideshow of just 3 images. Fading from one to the other. Any ideas on the best and simplest way to do this?

Slideshow Gallery in Dreamweaver cs3

Hi, at the moment i am new to dreamweaver. I have the
dreamweaver and flash cs3 package. I am trying implement an image
to my home page which will in turn change every 5-10 seconds. I
dont want any controls to show up like the ones that come with the
dreamweaver slideshow. Just a simple image that fades into another
image every so often(where i can embed url links possibly also).
any help would really be appreciated. I would like to avoid coding

unfortunately, you're probably gonna have a hard time finding
a slideshow or gallery that doesn't involve at least a little bit
of coding. and the fact of the matter is, if you're serious about
web design (or at least having a decent site) you're going to have
to familiarize yourself with html code. you don't have to know how
to write an entire page with just code, but at least knowing how to
edit it is a must.
having said that, check out

for slideshows and galleries. they do involve pasting code into the
code of the page (at least the one i've used do), but they give you
instructions on how and where to put it.

How do I edit the Bridge Slideshow Thumbnails in Dreamweaver?

I've made a slideshow in Bridge for a photography website in Dreamweaver. It's in an iframe and everything is great except I can't get the thumbnails to move closer to the big image! Where can I edit this?

Slideshows duplicating in dreamweaver

I'm new to dreamweaver and I'm having a problem with my fireworks slideshows. I'm building a wesite and inserting slideshows into dreamweaver from fireworks. I can make the first slideshow no problem. Goes onto website fine and looks good, but when I make a new slideshow and try to put it on another page in my website, it's duplicating the oigional slideshow. I have tried putting the new slideshow in different folder, changing the names of the files, anything i can think of. When i preview the 2nd slideshow in dreamweaver it plays as it's supposed to, with the correct pictures, but when I go to my website it shows the pictures from the 1st slideshow. Needless to say I am dumfounded, any help at all will be greatley appreciated.

IDVD slideshow pics from Aperture

I want to create a slideshow, no music using full screen pics from Aperture. I want it to loop over and over. How can I set up the slideshow not using an Apple theme? Also how can I create a slide of a logo that is not a photo?

Hi Phil,
The themes in iDVD are for the menu, and will disappear once the user starts the slideshow. You can drag a slideshow to the Autoplay position (use the Map/Outline view to see this) so the slideshow automatically starts when the DVD is inserted. And there is an option to loop the slideshow video.
You can use third party software to create the slideshow, but iPhoto and iMovie both will work fine to create the video version of your slideshow (you'll need to set timing, transitions, etc.). iPhoto can Share/Export a slideshow to Quicktime video. You can drag and drop this video into the Autoplay position. iDVD can also create slideshows, but I prefer the other two options.
None of this software distinguishes between a photo jpeg and a logo in jpeg format. Like your photos, you'll want to get the orientation correct (traditional TV is a 4:3 ratio, and widescreen is 16:9) or you'll have black bars framing your photos.
Resolution of your logo or photo doesn't matter (they are being displayed on a TV at 72dpi), but the size of the image can be a factor. Surprisingly, huge images may actually look worse on a TV than smaller images (to a point). Images from a DVD on a full screen, conventional TV are approx 640x480 pixels; larger images are scaled down and if you scale them down in Aperture, the results can be better than if they're scaled during the conversion to video. There's lots of forum discussion on getting the best quality slideshows, so search and get other views and techniques.

30 gig 5 gen. Titles don't show on slideshow pics.

I have connected iPod to TV to run slideshows. It works great for time spacing and transfer between pics. It does not show titles on any pics. Is this possible?

Not that I have found. You just see the picture and hear what ever music you applied to the slide show.

I want to use an iWeb Slideshow in a Dreamweaver website

I am not an expert at html. I thought it prudent to get that out of the way.
I have been asked by a friend to make a simple website for him. I have put it together in iWeb and he loves the results. However the fact that each page is a seperate document means common things (like a banner and navigation buttons) take a while to load of each page.
I have decided to go down the frames route in Dreamweaver and used the iWeb output (png files as buttons etc) so that it looks the same to my friend.
The only problem I seem to have is with the slideshow page. If i try and run the slideshow directly from the gallery.html page that iWeb produced it doesnt work. If I run the index.html page and then go into the gallery.html page (using the navigation link) the slideshow does work. However, when doing that I see the iWeb naviagtion in my main page below the dreamweaver banner which I do not want.
So, I deduce there must be some code in the index.html page that controls the gellery.html page.
Does anyone know what I can strip out thsi code or change something to make the gallery.html page work by itself independantly of the index.html page?

Nope, gallery.js & openSlideShowWindow.js control the slideshow.

How can I add a slideshow banner in Dreamweaver CS4?

I am relatively new to Dreamweaver and am looking for a way to make a simple banner that will display several images at a time interval and move to the next image. I have tried looking for different tutorials, but haven't really found a good one yet.

Do a Google search for jQuery banner rotator. There are dozens of them on the web.

Slideshows (pics) in iDVD, can i put them to fit the screen

when im doing a video project in iDVD, if id like to do a slideshow, is it possible for the photos to fit to the screen and do the same effects (dissolve, page flip) as iPhoto?.. Im mostly concered for the pictures to fit the screen (when im going to play the dvd in dvd player or comp.. etc)

Lightroom 3 slideshow pics wont move

I am ready to scream I am trying to make a slide show and my pictures wont move into order the directions say click and slide over and I just get a bubble looking thing on them and then a circle with a slash through it and they wont move ....thanks for any replys this really shouldnt be so hard I am not sure if I need to click something or what I havent made any changes to the program since I installed it on my computer

You're likely viewing a composite view - like multiple folders.
Save the slideshow, which will create a collection, and then you should be able to drag them around.

Can't preview slideshow pics (audio only)

Just trying to make a last-minute holiday gift. I've created a slideshow on Iphoto and "sent" it to IDVD. All I get is a black screen. So then I tried making it with Magic DVD. I selected my pictures and music, but when I preview it, all I get is the music. I'm using ILife '08; I did not have this problem with ILife '05.

Import Fireworks slideshow to Dreamweaver page

Hi,
I created a photo gallery (slideshow) in Fireworks CS4 and everything is working smoothly. Now I want to add this slideshow to my Dreamweaver page BUT I am new to this and I don't know how to include it.
I noticed that depending on the type of fireworks player it creates different files (html, swf). I used the FW slideshow template: Player - Black (Flash Plug In not required) and it created an index.html file.
How can I add the index.html page to my website template? I want for it to show after my navigation bar etc.. I don't want it in a seperate file but include it to my PhotoGallery.html page.
I also tried different players and I can't get for it to load. SWF files do not play when i check it in LiveView.
If someone can help me with this I would appreciate it. I have been struggling for a day now and I can't get it to work with any type of player.

I'm new to the Adobe world and I'm liking it! There are so many features in the software that I just want to make sure that I learn the proper way to incorporate the 'objects'.
In the mean time what I have done is created an iframe.

I'm currently searching for an extension or widget for a slideshow usage in dreamweaver cs6. I've seen the free ones like easy rotator but i was wondering if ones such as wow slider are better? any information on this would be great! thanks!

How to add an Animated Slideshow created in Photoshop CS6 to an HTML file in Dreamweaver CS6?

What steps do I need to follow to complete this task? I've already completed an animated slideshow in Photoshop CS6, and saved it for the Web, which produced an HTML file and a .GIF. All I need to know now is how to insert the slideshow into my Dreamweaver CS6 HTML file. Your input would be appreciated.

It's usually best if you use Photoshop for images only. The html code generated by graphics apps is not too swift for use on the web.
In DW, insert the animated gif into your HTML page with the Insert panel.

Can i edit slideShow size?

when i go to view a thumbnail and it opens the picture up the window covers my whole screen (23inch) and my pic is only like 500 pixels. is there a way to resize the slide show window so it fits perfect around my pic. or will i have to open the slideshow HTML in dreamweaver and reset it there?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit the size of the image placeholder in TOC in Captivate 5. The image is scaled down to project size and displayed in the TOC.
