Slo mo video playing at regular speed

I've recorded several videos in slo mo mode on my iPhone 6 Plus and they've worked just fine. However, today I recorded two videos in slo mo mode at 240 fps, and when I went to play them back, they played back in normal speed.
The videos have the circle icon in the lower right corner of the screenshot indicating slo mo mode, and they also appear in the slo mo album on the phone. But they play back in normal speed.
When I exited to the home screen, then reopened the camera app, it recorded a subsequent video correctly.
Anyone else with this experience? Any advice?

Just adding my case to the list. After syncing the slo-mo slider is gone and also other icons like the "favourite" hart shape, the "more" icon (small circle with 3 dots) and the trash icon... all these are missing.
While in the iPhone all videos and photos have these options / icons available. Not after syncing. And slo-mo videos play at normal speed in the iPhone. In Aperture and iPhoto in my macbook pro the same videos play "slow" as they should...

Fast audio playback after recording overlay in CS4- How can I slow it down play at regular speed?

I have a video that I am trying to record audio narration over and everytime I record the audio (as I have done many times in the past) it goes on the time as a shorter clip that plays back at a faster speed causing me to sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. What am I doing wrong and how do I get it to play and record in real time speed? The video speed is uneffected and plays normally?

Hit Play video plays about double speed

When I play the video I am working on in the timeline, the video starts normal (for about a second) but then starts racing at about double speed. If I turn the external video to off under the "view" pulldown menu, the playback is normal.

Please give your full system specifications, what computer, what drives, what camera or deck, how everything's connected, what settings are on the media, what settings you're using in Final Cut, and finally what version of the software, of the OS, and of QuickTime you are using.

Videos playing in FF under Leopard

Ok I have an odd problem with leopard front row, some times when playing videos they play in fast forward but just the video, the audio plays at normal speed. If i stop the video and play it again from the beginning it plays normally, sometimes it takes 5-8 tries before the video plays at regular speed. all my vies play fine inside of itunes and quicktime. there all encoded using h.264 and AAC audio.

I have the same exact problem, even with purchased iTunes videos. The videos play so fast that the song is barely a quarter of the way done when the video ends and it reverts back to the menu. I use Front Row a lot and this if very annoying, so I hope Apple fixes this soon.

Uploaded video plays at twice normal speed, but audio plays normally

I am able to upload video from Panasonic Lumix camera to iMovie08, but video plays back at twice normal speed. Meanwhile, audio plays back at normal speed. I posted a video on iTunes just to see if the problem remained and it does. How do I fix this so video plays at normal speed?

Like I say, there are two 24 modes on that camera. Is your sequence set up for 24fps or 29.97? Whichever one it is, try the other and see if it makes a difference.
What were your capture settings? You need to clarify that you've captured correctly (I'm not sure whether it's possible to capture 24fps material incorrectly as I've never tried).
The basic thing you need to do is determine whether you shot native 24 or 24 converted in camera to 30, and work forward from there.

Slo-Mo video doesn't send properly

So sharing a Slo-Mo video over a txt message or email doesn't actually send the video in Slo-Mo. It plays at normal speed.
Am I doing something wrong? I can watch the video in slo-mo on my phone but as soon as I share it on FB or iMessage or email it plays at normal speed.

So I contacted support on this. I was told that the iphone seems to be saving the file as a RAW file, which is why you can go back and edit the time frame of slow motion at any time.
He said that's the way it is meant to work, however he did agree that it was not an optimal way for an end user and to put a feedback request at www.apple.com/feedback and he was actually going to do the same thing.
basically the request is to be able to save the RAW file as a separate file, Kinda like how the HDR feature worked in the past.
Other than that, not much that you can do besides copying the file to the computer and use video editing software to make it happen since the file is recorded in 120fps but it's RAW.

Youtube playing at Hyper Speed?!!!!

When I select on a couple of youtube files, the video plays at hyper speed (about 2-4 times faster) while the audio is normal, making EVERYTHING out of sync.
This only happens on a few youtube videos. Is that got anything to do with a bad transfer on youtube's part? Like wrong encoding for iphone? And if they fix it, by bookmarking it, should I just wait for it to get better?

I think I figured out the problem. In the "what's new in Logic 7.1 document", it says:
"The [follow tempo] function works with all audio files that were recorded in, or bounced/exported from, Logic Pro 7.1"
So even though I'm using 7.1, it only works on the regions that were recorded while I was using 7.1. (The checkbox "follow tempo" does appears on these) I was trying to do it with regions originally recorded in 7.0.
Alright, so there must be a workaround for this. Any ideas?

Hi. I don´t use Iphoto, but after trying too upload from the Facebook app, I found out that the video isn´t saved as a finished video. (you can still edit it)
I used the iMovie app to save the movie as new finished movie. Open iMovie , those video, select your video, click the share button i down right corner. Push create movie (I guess, mine is in danish) play the movie or not, push the back button, change the name or not, push the share button, save the the movie. Now I think the movie can be exported to iphone. It also can also be shared in the Facebook app i closed groups, so you don´t have to put in on your wall first.

Slo-mo videos in regular speed on iPhone 6 after syncing with iPhoto

Hi, I took a bunch of slo-mo videos during my daughter's bday party with my iPhone 6 (upgraded from iPhone 5) and then imported them onto iPhoto on my MBP in the evening. My usual practice is to delete photos & videos from the iPhone after importing so that I can then selectively choose what gets synced back on with iPhoto albums while "Include videos" is checked. After syncing, I noticed that the slo-mo videos, which are still listed in the Slo-mo album on my iPhone (with the little slo-mo icon in the bottom left of each thumbnail as well), now only play in normal speed! In iPhoto, the videos still correctly play in slo-mo showing 240 fps in the info panel. Anyone have any ideas how I can restore the "slo-mo" when viewing on the iPhone 6? Very odd!

Once a video is made in slo-mo can you change it to regular speed

I took a video using slo-mo and want it to be saved as regular speed. I can get it to show in regular speed when I view it (moving the markers of where it started slo-mo) but I can't save it that way or get it saved onto iMovie. Is there a way to do this?

I am hoping my post to the Apple feedback may prompt a useful response from Apple and I live in hope that my post here will elicit a useful response from another user. I did not miss the the text at the top of the feedback form but you presumably missed my initial text, 'someone here can explain' or my subsequent 'work around from another user'
Just in case anyone reading this has a large collection of music videos, video podcasts or iTunes U then DO NOT upgrade your iPad to iOS 5. If you are considering purchasing the iPad as a useful mobile device to experience these media organised in your iTunes please don't as you will be wasting your money. (unless someone on this forum knows of a way to undo the mess created by those infallible folks at Apple)

Webcam video plays back super fast speed

hi, does anyone know about this: when i record video from my creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro, the play back is like twice the speed of real life. like a video speeded up. it was working fine on my previous computer, which was windos xp, and i upgraded to a newer computer with windows vista 64 bit, and now the video play back is too fast. i also tried viewing the video on other viewers like windows media and VLC, still too fast.

I think we may be able to say more if you can tell us more about the rest of your code. What sort of structures are you using, and where are you dropping your AVI Capture code in? Is the video sped up on your front panel or when you play the resulting file?
You should post the larger piece of code if possible.

Canvas window - video plays back at different speeds from the timeline. Why

I've scanned 25 pages of topics but found nothing that mentioned this as a problem. When I play a sequence in the timeline, the video in the Canvas window slows down (and sometimes suddenly speeds up to catch up with the audio) About the audio, it sounds find regardless of how the video is playing back. if I hit the space bar to stop play back, the video snaps to the correct position.
Any ideas why?
Sometthings I've noticed : If I restart my computer, the video tends to play back fine. But if I leave the program open and use it alot, the play back problem happens over time. If I make the canvas window tiny (25% size), the video plays fine but at 50% - I get video speed changes. (audio, always good)
Here is what Im using : The project is about 20 mins long. I have over 50 gigs of HD space (the Macs main drive) Im using FCP version 4.5 on a Dual G5. 2.5 GB of Ram.

Does this happen in any other sequences within this FCP project? Or, for that matter, with any other projects on your FCP system?
And, to confirm, your media is running off your system drive? That is, your machine has only one hard drive on it, correct? (Partitioned or not)
