Slow closing labview when connected to the network

It takes about 40 seconds for the labview executable to disappear from the Windows 7 task-bar ( Labview 2010 ) when it is connceted to the network. It only takes a few seconds when there is no network connection. There is nothing that the labview program is doing programmatically when the exit command is issued to kill the labvilew program. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks.

This sounds familiar but when I heard about this before it was when closing the developement environment. In that case I believe it was something to do with the LabVIEW RSS reader doing something on close. Sorry I don't have any other details. In the past I have entertained the idea of calling a taskkill on the application after all cleanup has been finished in my application. I have tried this on a few programs and it appears to work just fine, but is not recommended.

Deployed 2012 R2 NPS for wireless 802.1x Workstations work fine, but iPhones state that the SSL is "not verified" when connecting to the network.

NPS server is a 2012 R2 in a fresh domain. I'm using a Go Daddy standard SSL. I emailed myself all the GoDaddy Root and intermediate certs that I could find and installed them on the iPhone but I still get the "not verified" after entering the
username and password. Once I click Accept, I'm able to connect just fine to the wireless network. Will a Go Daddy cert not work or am I missing something else here?

"Unable to connect to the database" when connected to corporate network

Hi
Installed Primavera P6 V7 and Oracle 10g in Stand alone on XP 32bit machines with SP3. When our machines are NOT connected to the corporate network it works fine.
However when connected to the network we can not access the locally stored database. We get message "primavera unable to connect to the database. would you like to configure the database connection now"
Database on servers that we set up are fine regardless.
If we connect machines to just the internet, again no issues.
So something is stopping Primavera opening local database when connect on our corporate network.
Any ideas please?

This may be a long shot but look into how your TNSNAMES.ora file is being distributed on the domain (or are you possibly utilizing LDAP.ora on the domain side?).
Some time ago I remember a company scripting an ENV variable on domain logon that altered where the Oracle client would pull the TNSNAMES from.

Why can I connect to my home network with my iPhone 5 in one room, but when I move to another it is 'unable to connect to the network'

At home, I can connect my iPhone 5 to my home wifi network with no problems, as long as I stay downstairs.
As soon as I go upstairs my phone disconnects from the network. I can still see the home network it in the available network lists (with full signal strength), but when I try to reconnect I get an 'unable to connect to the network message'
If I move back downstairs it reconnects
This has only started happening in the past week or so
I've tried to forget and rejoin the network, but this doesn't work
I reset my network settings on the phone. This worked for a couple of hours and I could connect to the wifi upstairs, but now it won't connect again.
Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this?

Sounds like your wi-fi signal strength has degraded. Try rebooting your wi-fi router, or get it serviced.
Do you have similar issues with any other wi-fi routers?

Since you are having trouble with Parallels or Windows, did you ask in their respective support forums? If not, you might want to consider doing so.

Warning by NAC when a new Pcs connecte to the network

I have a NAC is configured to authenticate users through the NAC by local BD and just use vlan mapping mac-address filter list.
I would like to control new Pcs connection to the network ; when a new mac-address -- PC ,laptop or any other mac based device is connected , then The NAC Monitoring should be make an alert or a warning to the " Network admin ". Thereby the Network Admin is more active in monitoring whole network.
Any good solutions, suggestions are many appriciations from my heart!!!

if you are into the mac address monitoring I think the NAC profiler is made for you.
It can recognize hundreds of kind of devices from their behavior (DHCP, ARP, ...) and it classifies any device you plug on the network. You can even make custom rules if you have very specific products.
So you can determine "Cisco 9971 phones will go to this vlan" and any 9971 phone you bring in the future will be added in the NAC list.
It can also do this "monitoring" you are talking about, you can put any new mac address in a special category. And from there Profiler shows you its location and current behavior (what profiler thinks it is).

Chances are, there was a signficant power surge or voltage fluctuation just before the power went out. This type of thing can cause the AirPort Extreme to reset back to default settings.
If this occurs, your only option is re-configure the device again, just as you did originally.
In order to improve your chances this next time this happens, (especially if you live in an area where thunderstorms are severe), a good quality surge suppressor / voltage limiting power strip will really help, and may save you the entire device or a nearby computer next time something like this occurs.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

I use pfsense as my firewall and see the traffic not reseting to zero when I cancel download.
Also, IE doesn't have this problem. When I cancel the download the traffic drops to zero.

And this problem seems to be systemwide. Since I created a new user and under which problem still exists.
Hope apple will look into it

When trying to use the apps message received is not connected to the network

My printer is connected and I can print from the ipad and the laptop, but when I try to use one of the apps to print something. I get an error message that the printer in not connected to the network. I have tried all the trouble shooting tips and when printing out the wireless network test results, it says no problems found. I believe I have the same problem. I get "Server Connection Error: -1". This only occurs on weekends (Sunday). Is this because someone turns off the server on the weekends?

looks like this is your network connection settings problem, you'd better only keep one network adaptor online and linked, if you do not understand how to setup windows routing, this is completely not firefox problem. buddy. wish you goodluck.
