Slow Firefox tried everything including reinstall. Slow in Safari too.

For 24 hours Firefox has been really slow to load. This is on my computer only - browsing on my ipad is fast and good. I tried the same on my computer with another browser and it is equally slow. I have tried all the suggestions including reinstalling Firefox but unfortunately the problem remains. Do you think it could be a hardware problem in which case any solutions? I have tried disk utility too a few times and all my other programmes are working as normal.

You can reset user set (bold) network.http.* prefs on the about:config page via the right-click context menu to the default value.

CTRL+0 (<--that is a zero) will reset your zoom level on affected pages. Firefox remembers the zoom level you last used on a page.

Brand new iPod touch, only synced once. Now showing the pairing record missing notification. Not recognised by iTunes OR computer. Have tried literally everything including reinstalling iTunes, rebooting, etc. Please help.

As I've said, brand new iPod touch. I only synced it Friday night, put some music on it. This morning tried to connect to iTunes and got a message saying the pairing record was missing? Computer isn't recognising it either, but it charges off the computer just fine. My apologies. Your post jogged my little grey cells to the point that I did a few experiments. In essence, you are right. My plug-ins do not work with 8-bit greyscale images. I like to deliberately shoot B&W and have a Wratten #12 minus-blue filter on the lens--as I used to do with film cameras.
The raw files ( Fujifilm's .RAF) were converted in Adobe CR by checking off "Convert to Grayscale" under the fourth tab. In the future, I will do the B&W conversion in Photoshop with either Nik or Topaz plug-ins.

Try a few things:
First, try double tapping the home button. You should see a row of apps at the bottom; these are your recenty opened apps. Hold your finger down on any of the icons until they start to shake, and a red minus() appears. Tap the red minus for each app. This will close the app, not delete it. If you have too many apps open, this can cause crashes.
If it still crashes, try the basic troubleshooting steps here:

no they are already in mp3 format I just tried that home sharing today because I couldnt find any other reason why they werent syncing. here is an example of a sync I just tried. I made an mp4 concert into an mp3 it came out perfect on my computer.. then I tried to sync it to my ipad with no luck, other than it going on my computer, it did not show up anywhere on my ipad in any area of the music sections etc playlists, songs, albums etc. Its just not there but remains on my computer. thats why I tried the home share today to see if that would help. Either I am really missing something or there is something wrong with this ipad. Can someone please help me!? I am trying to put music on my IPod and it was working the other day. I can not get itunes to recognize my Ipod. I have tried to unistall and reinstall Itunes. I have tried all the steps on the site and can't get it to come up. I tried my IPhone which was also showing up just the other day and it also is not showing in Itunes! Please help me. I need to be able to put music on my IPod for my work.

I have sorted it myself!!
Ipod is now in the top right corner, last time I clicked on it, it ejected it but by clicking on the actual ipod icon then it brings up your ipod. I restored it to factory settings and synced all my music and it now works again. Hope this can help anyone who ends up with the same problem.

My Photoshop Elements 13 doesn't recognize my Canon PRO-10 printer. I've tried EVERYTHING. Reinstalled all my software, didn't fix anything. Can anyone help?

I have Windows 7 x64 on a desktop PC. I have Photoshop Elements 13. I bought the Canon PRO-10 PRINTER on 2/3 and at first it worked fine. Then I tried to install it as a plug-in in Elements 13, and everything went bad. When I click on AUTOMATION TOOLS it does say "Canon Easy Photo Print Pro" like it should, but when I click on that I get an error message NO SUPPORTED PRINTER FOUND. CONNECT A PRINTER SUPPORTED BY THIS SOFTWARE AND THEN INSTALL A DRIVER. I also tried the FILE > PRINT command which also said there was no printer installed.
I reinstalled the Canon software and driver. Then I called Canon. I got a real live tech person who checked everything out and asked me to print from a different program. That worked fine and he said, the printer is fine. It's a problem with Adobe. Contact them. I uninstalled my Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 and reinstalled it. But the whole situation remains the same. I can't find how to contact a live technician for help so I'm appealing to ANYONE to help me with this. If you can 't help me with the printer problem, can you tell me how to reach a live tech support person at Adobe??

After talking to 3 different Canon techs who didn't know anything about
this and told me it was Adobe's fault, a 4th Canon tech e-mailed me a list
of the Elements software that is "compatible" with the Canon Pro-10
printer. The list stops at Elements 12! In other words, Canon has not
written the software for their plug-in to work with Elements 13 yet. I
personally am stunned by this. Considering how popular Adobe Elements is,
you'd think Canon would be up-to-date on having their new printer's plug-in
work with Elements 13, which has been out there for some time.
Not only that, Canon's more expensive printer, the Canon PRO-100, also has
the same problem. My friend just bought one and told me the plug-in doesn't
work with Elements 13.
I have figured out a solution, if it will be of help. I had just
uninstalled Adobe Elements 12 and when I saw that Canon's plug-in worked
with Elements 12, I quickly reinstalled it. Sure enough, when I clicked on
AUTOMATION TOOLS there was the Canon plug-in, and when I clicked on it, the
Canon print screen opened. So I decided I would do my photo editing in
Elements 13, and when ready to print I would open the photo in Elements 12
and print it there. Hope that helps.

Flash player crashes continuously in Firefox--tried everything

I too have experienced a problem very similar to this and was hoping to find help here. Another person has experienced a very similar problem, but without response here: Adobe flash player freezes constantly
This all started when I updated to version 16.0.0.305. When I downgrade to version 16.0.0.296, the problem is resolved. However 16.0.0.305 is a bug fix that patches a critical zero day exploit, so I do not want to stick with it for very long.
I hope this is a known issue and Adobe will be releasing a patch for it soon.

AI CS5 crashes when saving - I have tried everything including uninstalling and re-installing

At 80% of my attempts to save adobe illustrator cs5 crashes. Very rarely does the .ai file actually save, but it has on a few occasions.

Working now and again, it may be caused by some strange interference.
The full general list of things to try includes interference from specific applications in Item 7) in 5).
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.
