Slow iTunes connection
Hello,
I'm running a 100Mbit line to the internet (cable, germany). Usually a Movie on ATv is available for viewing right after I rent it. Today it's horrible slow. Even trailers need about 2 Minutes to buffer. Is it possible that the download of Mountain Lion slow down iTunes?

ITunes Connect....VERY SLOW!!!
Is anyone else having problems even logging in and navigating through iTunes Connect? Sometimes it takes a good 2-4 minutes to proceed to the next page or log in, and at times I get a Gateway Timeout.
I am making progress (slowly) by
1.) Deleting all images except one remaining for iPad
2.) Logout to itunes connect
3.) Re login
4.) Add a few images until it get's slow again
5.) Then Logout and relogin and contine
Better don't update text and imges at the same time. -

sorry for my english!Hey, I have had my intunes soley shut down my computer numerous times, for the past month or so. I realize now it is only within my itunes, but it may not only be itunes. My desktop and a lot of cashed info have been cleared now, as a result of a ton of restarts by completely shutting the power most likely.
I have been too lazy to back up my music because it messes stuff up, and goes so slow it crashes. it will probably work better if I dont even touch itunes and just transfer small parts of my library at a time, not all 120+ gb!
I think a my computer is
a fried
b my files are terribly corrupted
c or my itunes is compromised
either way, i will back up my music, but what do you think the chances are my music is the culprate, and by backing it up I will have the same problem in the future?
i've been thinking re-installing itunes would be best

Difficulties submitting to iTunes Connect
Hello everyone,
As of this morning, I am having troubles submitting an iOS app to iTunes connect, either via Xcode 4.5.1 or Application Loader 2.7 running on OSX 10.8.2: I get the dreaded "An error occurred talking to the iTunes Store", along with
Xcode[1215]: *** Error: An error occurred while deserializing the JSON request. Error Message - Invalid JSON character sequence (<) at index 1
in the Console.
As it turns out, "Validating" an application yields the same result. Is anyone else having a similar issue?
I looked through existing discussions; some of them mentioned having unsupported characters in the bundle name, but my bundle name is only in ASCII.
If anyone has an idea/suggestion, it'd be greatly appreciated.

when validating or submitting my app via XCode. I'll wait but hopefully this doesn't take too long. -
I am unable to download the restore file for ipod touch due to slow internet connection. is there any other source to download the file to my windows7 computer?

After the download, hold down the Shift key when you click Update in iTunes, and you'll be prompted to locate the downloaded firmware file. -
Cannot connect to iTunes Connect
Over the last few days my connection to the iTunes Connect store is becoming very slow. Since approx 10pm BST last night, I've been unable to access with the message:
iTunes Connect is temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance.
Try again later.
I've checked the service status and it is still showing as "up", so why am I seeing this? I was not aware of any scheduled maintenance.Better to post your topic in the ASC Developer community > Developer Forums: Apple Support Communities

If your computer's connection is slow then you can update your iOS from your phone.
Find a free, strong Wi-Fi network.
Go to Settings>General>Software Update>choose option "Download and Install"
Benefit: if you update phone through this method the actual download size will be only 30 to 50 MB only! and it works fine! if you try to download iOS from iTunes it will goes around 800MB. -
Does anyone experiencing slow iTunes download?
I experience slow iTunes download in last 24 hours, keep getting connection timeout error. I wonder if it is just me or the iTunes server is facing issue? Can anyone give me some clue? Thanks
Yes! Still experiencing that error right at the end of the download. Has been happening for a few days. Have tried connecting to a different internet service provider and still have the same problem. Telstra sayits not them, iTunes helpdesk says its not them. Just have to keep on trying for now.

Safari/ITunes Connectivity Issues
Not sure why, but my connection speed in Safari and to the iTunes store slowed way down about five days ago. ISP is Comcast. Comcast tech said modem connection and speeds measure fine, but Safari is taking much longer to load web pages. I have already tried resetting Safari... no improvement. The iTunes connection is much slower as well and I recently discovered I can no longer preview movies in iTunes. Can anybody help?

Did you change anything before the slow-down???
Do any updates, add any new apps or fonts?
Here's how I make sure Safari is all cleaned up.
Do these basics & report back, OK ?
1. Empty your cache & History settings via the Safari menu
2. Trash your Icons Folder:
HD>Users>Home>YourName>Library>Safari -->Icons
Restart Safari and a new folder will be automatically regenerated.
(This folder saves favicons of all the sites you visit. Needs cleaning periodically -- or you can change that file's preferences to "Read Only"
rather than "Read & Write." This will keep it from growing in size.)
3. Launch Font Book and check all fonts for duplicates. A duplicated font will have a bullet beside the font family and you can resolve duplicates by selecting the font and at the menu bar, go to Edit > Resolve Duplicates.
Do this for each font with a bullet next to it.
If you're still having problems:
4. Shut down your computer . . . unplug the computer, modem, and router, if you have one. Let everything sit for 2-3 minutes. Plug everything back in, start up your modem & router, then restart your computer.
5. Do you have internet apps SpeedDownload, iGetter, PithHelmet, Acid Search, Safari Enhancer ? Or Norton or Virex? Sometimes non-apple internet apps need updating or uninstalling. If you do, let us know which ones and which version, please.

i bought a macbook pro back in summer 2012 and it came with mountain lion but since then Im having a very slow Internet connection. I have one router at my home. my other PC works fine with the Internet even my iphone 4s is way faster with same wifi connection. when I download a TV show on macbook from itunes its takes about 40-50 min to download fully but on my phone or PC it usually takes about 18 mins. and also when I try to watch a hd clip on youtube, I need to put on lowest quality in order to watch it without lagging or stopping midway.

Why when I try to login the Itunes Connect with my Apple ID it always says: "Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect."?
Look on one of your bank statements and be sure to enter the billing address exactly as it shows on the statement. Some folks forget where they actually get the statement. They put their home address in iTunes/Mac App Store and they actually get the statement at their place of employment or vice versa.

The reason I found this problem is that I did a complete reset of my iPhone, so it reset all the content, through settings on the phone. That ended up deleting the ringtones I had. I tried searching up the same tones, however you can't "Install" already purchased stuff like you can in the AppStore.
I can't "iTunes wifi-sync" because you need to have connected at least once to the computer before you can wifi-sync, but because I reset my phone, it doesn't "remember" it once synced with my Mac cause I reset it.
I have gone through the "iTunes connectivity troubleshooting", nothing worked.

My iPhone charges fine with the USB-Wall outlet adapter, so its not the lightning connector or the USB connector on the other end of the cord.
All the USB ports on my Mac are functionning (working with other cords for printers, etc.), but still the iPhone persists not to be recognized in iTunes.
So I am guessing iTunes is the problem.
Any Help, Solutions, Suggestions, would be appreciated.

As the subject suggests I want to restore my iPhone 4 to it's factory settings and am wondering if I need to have an internet and/or itunes connection in order to do that? I just don't want to get 1/2 way through the reset and get stuck because I don't have the required connections..
I DON'T want to restore any of the back-ups! I want to start from scratch..

hello all, i registered time ago a itunesconnect account with the authorization of book distribution. I never uploaded a book, i now have a developer account in my apple id but i can't upload app. Is there a way to change my itunes connect account type or transfer the developer account to another one? thanks
i'm registered as an ebook reader producer so i can't upload app, i guess if there's a method to convert my account
