Slow moving and non moving

Dear friends,
Our client is currently doing the following process for inventory in legacy.
1) XYZ analysis:based on stock values based on the Current inventory
X- is the materials having for high inventory value.
Y-is the materials having for mediam inventory value
Z-is the materials having for low inventory value
2) FNS analysis:
N- Non moving materials--It is the list of materials of no issues for last three years but stock is still there .
S- slow moving materials --this materials are listed based on the average of opening and closing stock of the materials and 50% of those average stock and Slow materials are listed based on the those materials listed below the 50% of the average stock.
F- Other than those S and N materials.
3) ABC analysis:This analysis based on the Past consumption , i mean this can be done through the ABC analysis:---MIBC transaction it can be done.
Please suggest how to do XYZ and FSN analysis in SAP,any standard process.
Regards,
Canand

Hi,
for slow moving item use MC46 and in same you can do ABC analysis.you can maintain ABC indicator in MRP 2 view of material master.

  • Inventory Buckets as Slow Moving and Non Moving

    Hi Experts.
I have an Requirement for Buckets in Inventory as Slow moving and Non Moving
    Considering:
    1)  For 0 to 30 days 0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL as no movement and 30 to 60 days there is movement then consider Slow Moving.
    2) For 0 to 90 days 0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL as no movement then consider Non Moving.
    Considering:
Here I am taking 0VALSTCKVAL  instead of  0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL because as it inflow and outflow.
So how can I create Buckets for above Requirement.
    Waiting for reply
    Thanks
    Sunil

    Hi,
For creating Buckets first need to Have Date Fields logiv 0 to 30 days based on what char's we  need to consider like :
User entered date - Created date = Difference (0 -30).
Systems Date (Today's Date) - Created Date .
or do you have any calculated field in modelling which contains this data.
kfg might be any either 0VALSTCKVAL  instead of  0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL .
Just need to create New selction/RKF based on those date Difference and restricting with existing 0ISSVS_VAL and 0RECVS_VAL.
    Thanks.

    Regards

    Hi Piyush
Slow moving---Items on which inventory Trnx. has done..such as Gr..Iv..goods Issue In a given time span
If u check MC46 it will ask last posting days
Non Moving:-Items on which inventory Trnx. has not done..such as Gr..Iv..goods Issue In a given time span.
If u check MC50 it will ask period to analyze i.e.Dead stock in a period of time...Means items on which no Trnx. have been passed for given period
I hope it will clear ur doubt little bit

  • Slow keyboard and mouse moving erratically after update

After the 10.5.3 update my imac is showing some strange behavior. Ive noticed that my mouse every few minutes moves erratically across my screen. I'm also having problems with my keyboard, where it often doesn't type a letter that i press - very annoying! When playing music in iTunes, every so often i get slight brief pauses. This gets worse whenever Time Machine is doing an update or when im opening dashboard. This has never happened to me and i believe that update is the culprit. Is anyone experiencing this?

I am having the same mouse movement problem and I am seeing "wait" spinning disc many more times than I used to.
    Any answers?

  • I restored Firefox to its default settings but the slowness, crashing and non-responsiveness are not resolved

    Hello fellow-users of Firefox,
I followed the advice stated in the Support article about slowness, crashing, etc. by restoring Firefox to its default settings. But the problems didn't go away. The browser remains slow and still gives me error messages about a non-responsive script or plugin and crashes. To make matters worse I don't see the menu items on the top toolbar I was so used to using, like File, Edit, View, etc. I used the View menu very often to zoom in on texts too small for me to read. Now I can't do that. I tried to drag some icons from the menu on the top right-hand corner of the page onto the top tool bar above the address bar, but this is not the same as what I was used to using before, And there are no File, Edit, View, Tools icons in the menu. So now I'm seeing my g-mail inbox in tiny little characters. I tried using the magnifier suggested in the Troubleshooting page of Support, but it's too cumbersome so I gave up.
Would someone kindly please help me out on these issues? Thank you very much in advance.

  • Only slow charging and none while sleeping

Hi! I have a 17" 1,67 MHz PB with a charging problem. The time to charge displayed in the menu bar can change from more than 10 hrs to several hundred. When the computer sleeps it doesn't charge at all, although the power adapter light is amber all the time.
I have noticed that the charging is depending on what I do on the computer. If I just leave the computer on, the charging goes to almost nothing less than 10 mA. When the screensaver starts the charging increases to more than 300 mA, but that is still very slow.
It seems like the fast charging is not working and only the trickle charge that should start at 80% works.
I have done all the usual stuff, reset PMU, tried different charger, new battery, but nothing have worked. I have run Tech Tool Pro, and no problem is reported. I don't have the Apple Hardware test CD, but what I have heard is that Tech Tool does the same tests or more, right or wrong?
As everything else works I can live with this problem, but if there is an easy fix I would be more than happy. Can the DC-in board be the problem or the logic board? Where is actually the circuits located that controls this stuff?
    Thanks, Leif
    PB 17"   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

How long did it take to charge the battery ?
About 40 hours to 92%, then it stopped, although the charger did not turn to green. But the charging icon switched to a power plug icon on the menu bar. To this time should be added the time the computer was sleeping and not charging at all, despite the amber light was on.
Fresh batteries require some cycles before they reach
their full capacity. So I would consider this as
    normal.
You may keep an eye about this and - if nothing
changes - ask the seller for a replacement (but you
should consider that +/- 5% are in an acceptable
    range).
    Ok.
Have you followed the instructions provided by Apple
to calibrate a new battery ? See
    http://search.info.apple.com/?search=Go&lr=lang_en&kwo
    rd=&type=&newstype=&q=calibrate%20battery
Yes, I did this, but as I said, the battery only went to 92% so the calibration was not fully completed.
I recorded the charging with MiniBattery Logger and you can see the graph here: http://www.lignell.net/charging.png
The red line is the amperage and the amber is current charge level. The steep parts of the curve is when the screen saver starts. The dotted line is when sleeping. The amber charging icons means the charging starts after a stop. At the end the charging starts and stops all the time. The big red negative spike at the end is when running on battery only. Green line means it is "fully" charged (92%).
I hope this clarifies my question a bit. I think a normal charging should take a few hours only, without interruptions. The charging current never goes above 400 mA, and it should be more than 1000 mA.

    Thanking You;
    Regards;
    Joydeep Mukherjee

    Dear Friend,
MC50: Based on you date range selected, The logic here is "No
    Consumption" below certain Stock Level.
MC46: Based on the date range selected, if there was no movements
(Consumption), the system would classify them as Slow Movers
and Goto MM04, Enter the material no and plant check the changes made to that material master. Ofcourse, it'll give all the changes made to that material master
Check Trn CKMPCSEARCH. It records all the price change docs (Type PR), Ref. Transactn PRCHG

  • Non-Moving /Slow Moving stocks

    Hi
Is any Standard Oracle Report available which give
us the Sub_inventory wise/Item wise stock which are
not moved (i.e. No transactions are happening since a
    given date).
I hv check the Inactive Item Report available in
Inventory. What is exactly this report ?
    Can anybody help us.
    Regards.
    Navdeep

    hi,
The reports gives you an idea abt which stock is not used from many days or which is not even used or had no movements for the same...When you see the report you can give the periods in between which the system evaluates the materials movements...if the material has no movement in the given period it is called dead stock...and if the material is consumed out of it for given period then it is called slow moving stock..
Pls check both the reports carefully...
Check MC46 - slow moving items
MC50  - Dead stock(You can say dead stock as non moving stock )
If there is no selection shown by the system then it means that all the material/stock is used properly on time and is consumed properly...

    Hi
You have to create Generic Data source as you know the filed/tables names.
Hope you know how to build a Generic Delta or else.https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/84bf4d68-0601-0010-13b5-b062adbb3e33
    Create a Generic Data Source
a). Select the Data Source type and assign a technical name to it.
b). Choose Create The screen for creating a generic Data Source appears.
    3. a) Choose an application Component to which the data source is to be assigned.
    b) Enter the descriptive texts. You can choose these freely.c) Choose Generic Delta.
    4. Specify the delta-specific field and the type for this field. Maintain thesettings for the generic delta:
Specify a safety interval. (NOTE: Safety interval should be set sothat no document is missed u2013 even if it
was not stored in the DB table whenthe extraction took place.
    4. Select Delta type: New status for changed records (I.e.after-image); This can be used with Data target ODS (AIE). Additive Delta (I.e. aggregated data records) (ADD)Then choose Save.
    6. After step 4, the screen of step 3 comes back. Now choose Save again. This will generate the data source. After generating the data source, you will see the Delta Update flag selected.
    7. Choose Save again.
    Hope it helps
