  • Access Denied error while opening the deployed Application

    Hi,
    When I try to open my deployed application I get the following error:
    weblogic.net.http.SOAPHttpsURLConnection
    Im using the following code in my application:
    URL wsURL = new URL(wsLocation + "?command=login");
    So I went ahead and changed my code to this:
    java.net.URL wsURL = new URL(null, wsLocation + "?command=login",new sun.net.www.protocol.https.Handler());
    But I got the following error:
    access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission accessClassInPackage.sun.net.www.protocol.https)
    Also I believe sun.* packages are not supported anymore on cloud. I think it might be because of this it failed the second time.
    Is there any workaround for this?
    Regards,
    Abhishek

    Access denied indicates the user account uploading the file doesn't have access to the library, or sometimes it means there's already a document in the library with the same name that was never checked in. It's also possible that your template contains
    custom code that tries to do something that is not allowed.

  • Error while opening the ORACLE application

    hi
    when i am opening the Oracle application(DB & oracle forms) -frm-40815 message is coming and when i say enter and it is asking me database details. I checked the oracle services and they are in started state and server path is also pinging but i am not able to open the application. so i restarted the server .
    After restarting the server the application started working fine.
    But this is happening daily when the day started . Please let me know if any thing i need to check.

    Thanks John, that's the solution. For some reason I'd forgotten that DCErrorHandlerImpl exists in the controller layer, not the model layer, so it makes perfect sense to override it and do the redirect.
    Here's what I came up with:
    @Override
    public void reportException(DCBindingContainer dCBindingContainer,
                                Exception exception) {
        try {
            String message = exception.getMessage();
            if (message.indexOf("JBO-26061") >= 0) {
                FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().redirect("faces/ErrorPageJDBCFailure.jspx");
            } else
                super.reportException(dCBindingContainer, exception);
        } catch (IOException e) {
    }The following OTN post shows some other methods to do the redirect: JSF forward Vs redirect

    With the URL of the feed one can check it in iTunes and submit it to FeedValidator as a first-line method of locating problems. It's nearly impossible to read right through a long feed's text looking for the one tiny error which may have borked it. With both URLs it's much easier to check things - including whether iTunes is using the feed the originator thinks it is (not always the case).
    If you've been getting quick updates in the Store you've been lucky; the Store checks feeds in some sort of rotation and so it depends where you happen to be in the cycle when you upload a change.

  • File Server Role: Slow access for "opened files" and slow Explorer browsing

    Since we migrated our fileserver from Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2012 we are facing two major problems:
    1. Opening files which are already opened by other users takes about 1 minute before the file actually opens. This is not only for Office files such as Excel and Word, but also for other (not office) files. Again, this problem only rises when the file(s)
    is/are already opened by another user. There seems to be a sort of "Lock" check time which is about 45 to 60 seconds.
    2. The other problem is browsing via Explorer through the network drive (all clients are Windows 7 clients). Half of the time there is some kind of "hick up" with displaying the results of the folder. I cannot figure out a patern, but if there
    is no "hick up" then browsing is very fast (also in the busiest times of the working day)... If there is a "hick up" the result can take about 50 seconds to display the content of a folder.
    I suspect the SMB implementation / settings of Windows Server 2012 which are causing the problems...
    Things I tried:
    1. Changed the Oplocks wait time to 10 seconds (which is the minimum). The result is that openening files does indeed go some faster (still taking about 45 seconds).
    2. Disabled SMB2: the result is that browsing is fast... Opening files does go faster. BUT: we are then facing other problems like some files are not able to open... This setting was, after getting a lot of complaints from the users, changed back to enabled
    SMB2.
    3. Within the NIC card properties I disabled "QoS packet Scheduler", "Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper I/O Driver", "Link-Layer Topology Discovery Responder" and IPv6 (as we only use IPv4).
    All above with not the promising results.
    The server is a dedicated (virtual machine on vSphere 5.1) fileserver.
    Please Advice since this is not workable, and we have postponed the migration of the fileserver for our aother location.

    Hi Dave,
    I suggest you disable all third party applications like Anti-Virus application to test if it could reduce the waiting time when accessing a file.

  • I need help identifying and removing annoying gadget that shows all open windows and applications when I mouse over a corner.

    It seemed like a good idea at the time. Some time ago I installed a gadget (doesn't seem to be an item in my Applications folder) which, when I mouse-over the lower-left corner of my screen, brings up a screen showing reduced-size versions of all open application windows and Finder windows. I've tried to identify what it is, and where it is located, so I can remove it, but to no avail.
    I'd really appreciate any help getting rid of this thing. Thanks!

    Hi Paul,
    Check System Preferences>Accounts (Users & Groups in later OSX versions)>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
    Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
    Check the System Preferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts.

  • Issue facing while opening a Canvas application in Webstart

    Hi experts,
    Need a help on the issue: issue was like this:
    I have created a Canvas application in Swings. And It was running fine. The next day i have compiled again the code and build the class and after jar. Deployed in Tomcat.
    Started the webstart and launched the application. Now If I am opening the Canvas which I have required it is giving a error called " Identifier Not found".
    For this issue i tried in these ways: I kept the S.O.Ps in the initialize() method and the respective methods like extractConfigurationParameters(), jbInit().
    But once the control reach to jbInit() it is not continuing.. Even i can see the S.O.P first control in the java console.
    Please help me to fix it.
    With Thanks
    Kishore

    always check in this way - your number of column count for the Jtable, tableInit(), and tableColumnconntent(). these will load at the time of convas initialisation.

  • [solved]Erro while opening emacs and playing mplayer

    i install thunderbird and after that i got this error  and wallpaper disapper and its now opeing the emacs
    mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libjpeg.so.62: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
    whts wrong with it.......

    Hi "arunix"
    The reason "wonder" suggested what he did has to do with the fact that certain libraries are used by numerous programs. For example, libjpeg is the library (you guessed it) that decodes jpegs. When programs are compiled they are linked to the version of the library that is currently installed on the maintainers computer at time (or yours if you roll your own). As you can imagine there are quite a lot of programs that need jpeg decoding so libjpeg is a biggie. Recently libjpeg  was updated to a newer version so all the apps that use that library (and there are quite a few as you can imagine) have to be rebuilt so they will be linked to the new library (which I'm assuming you are using the new version because of the error your getting). This, of course is conveniently taken care of and a simple "pacman -Syu" should alleviate most of your problems. If you search the forum (from about 2-3 weeks ago) you will find all sorts of posts about this issue.  I had this issue until I re-compiled all my programs that use libjpeg.
    Hope this helps!
    Just a piece of future advice though, make sure to search this forum (or the wiki) thoroughly because most of the time the issues you are having has already been encountered and possibly solved by others.

  • Cannot open desktop and applications icons

    Hi I would appreciate your help. I have had this computer for a year and lately I cannot open desk top icons and icons in applications folder. Someone suggested
    holding the control key and then a menu comes on and ask to open and it works. But
    there must be a better way. I am a writer and a translator so I need this option to work. I really appreciate your help. Many thanks

    Hello Pilatesteacher and welcome to the forums!
    If you really are still on 10.4.8 and have never updated your system, perhaps you have also not realised the importance of a little maintenance from time to time, the most important, and easy, of which is:
    Repairing permissions, which should also always be carried out both before and after any software installation or update.
    Go to Disk Utility (this is in your Utilities Folder in your Application folder) and click on the icon of your hard disk (not the one with all the numbers).
    In First Aid, click on Repair Permissions.
    This only takes a minute or two.
    Background information here:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25751
    and here:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302672
    An article on troubleshooting Permissions can be found here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2963
    If you were having any serious problems with your Mac you might as well complete the exercise by repairing your hard disk as well. You cannot do this from the same start-up disk. Reboot from your install disk (holding down the C key). Once it opens, select your language, and then go to Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Select your hard disk as before and click Repair.
    Once that is complete reboot again from your usual start-up disk.

    Hi Winston,
    Goto Administration in /rep.
    Click on Java Web Start Administration - > Re-initialization and force-signing
    Then try to open the IR and ID. This should work.
    If it does not work then, do the following and paste the log.

  • Tracking opened files and applications as you work

    Which log or process on Leopard is tracking when an App or File is opened? I want to be able to monitor when files are opened for certains apps and record the name of files and time opened/closed.
    To automate timesheets for people.

    It's probably fseventsd, but I don't know of any easy way of tying into it without coding up something or using something designed for that purpose. I have to imagine there's something out there (in the audit space) that will do close to what you want. Maybe something like:
