Slow widgets...not worth using anymore

recently, my widgets started acting up. two i use all the time now are very slow to respond. one allows me to print envelopes, it can search my address book and return addresses. The other is for a quick fax for FaxSTF.
they both take a long time to type in, then stop text entry for a bit then resume again. anyone ever heard of this.
i have and do repair permissions often, i run some auto maintence scripts and i shut down every night.

Tables not in use anymore

Hello dreamweavers.
Im following up on a tutorial,and this guys seems very professional with 15years+ of expirience in making websites.
And he has stated not to uses table layout to construct websites. Is this endorsed by other dreamwevaer users?

CSS styled layouts have been the backbone of modern web layouts for modern browsers for several years now.
These days it's all about Responsive Web Design (desktop, laptop, netbook, tablet, smartphone) and re-purposing content - all done via CSS.

I have a dual boot system. Windows xp and Windows 7. Photoshop elements 7 would not run on Windows 7, so I purchased Elements 13. Slow as christmas. Not worth using at the speed it takes to do work on photos

I want to put music onto my partners phone from my Mac computer. The message comes up that her phone is synced with another iTunes library (not in use anymore) and do I want to erase this iPhone and sync with this itunes library.

There is currently no music on her iPhone and all the apps are already in the iTunes library on the mac that I want to sync it to so its not a problem, the apps won't be lost.
My question is are photos and messages and contacts classified as iPhone contents? Because I don't want those to be wiped. So can I sync her phone to this iTunes library? I have not been able to find online whether or not photos and contacts will be lost.
Also her phone is already backed up on this computer because it gets plugged into it all the time we have just not tried to put music onto it yet until now.

Safari 5.0.5 - Slow, Crashes, Not Worth The Trouble?

Hi - I'm a brand-new iMac user, trying to switch after 15 years of being a PC user. I have a "new" iMac that I bought from a guy who just purchased it in January, so everything should be extremely current. The computer was wiped clean upon transfer to me and I have been spending three days bringing it up from scratch. I love most everything about it except for the Internet access through Safari, which is just God-awful.
My problems are: Pages don't load, or won't load on the first try and then I have to reload or kill and reload. Pages can take up to five minutes to load, which is just ridiculous. Images in the pages, such as for Facebook or Comcast, don't load at all. And Safari constantly crashes entirely, causing me to have to reboot the iMac and start all over again.
Since I use the home computer primarily for Web surfing, this is a major issue and if I can't get this problem rectified, I'm going to have to ditch the iMac and go back to a PC, which obviously I don't want to do. But at 57 years old, I don't have the patience to wait around for Apple to fix it. And I sure don't have the computer smarts on my own to delve into the guts of this thing and monkey around. Help?!! Any and all advice appreciated, but please frame your answers in very easy-to-follow steps for an old **** with limited skills. Again, I love this machine but I'm not feeling the love back from it. Thanks.

Post a crash report so we can try and help...
If Safari has just crashed, press the Report button on the CrashReporter dialog box to view the crash information.
Copy/paste the entire contents of the Crash Reporter window into your reply. If the crash report dialog does not appear or the crash is hard to reproduce, crash logs can be retrieved from the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter> folder.
You did get the install discs that originally came with this iMac, correct???

With Safari running go to the menu bar top of your screen click Safari / Preferences then select the Appearance tab. Select: Display images when the pages opens.
If you can't figure out how to locate or post a crash report, login to another user account on the iMac. If Safari crashes there, that can be an indication the startup disk needs repairing.
Log back into your admin account.
Launch Disk Utility. /Applications/Utillities.
Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions). If the startup disk needs repairing, follow the instructions for Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks

I suggest you immediately make a backup of your data. You don't know if or when the computer will show some symptoms from the drop. You may want to, for piece of mind, take the computer to an authorised service center for assessment. No one here can assess any internal damage you may have done.

If you are planning on using iCloud to store files, forget about iCloud and use a cloud storage service like SkyDrive or Dropbox. iCloud is focused on information sync between the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and PC instead of storing files like MobileMe. It's not worth using iCloud for this.
If you still want to set up iCloud, open Settings > iCloud, log in with your Apple ID and follow its steps

With new Free Characeristics Aggregates are not being used

Hi....i have a query from a multicube with two infocubes where i have two aggregates one for each cube...in my query both aggregates are being used with no problems....when i add a new free characteristic that appers on aggregates something happens and the aggregates are not being used anymore...i dont understand why this happens because i know that ......free characteristics ....doesnt affects the aggregates usage....is this correct??? or not?

Shut down the notebook. Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to enter the Start-up Menu. Select the Bios option ( usually f10 ) and under the Advanced or Diagnostic tab you should find the facility to run tests on both the Hard Drive and Memory. Post back with the details of any error messages.
Note: If the option to run these tests is not available in the Bios Menu, use the f2 diagnostic menu instead.
Can you also post back with the following details.
1. The full Model No. and Product No. of your notebook - see Here for a guide on locating this information.
2. The full version of the operating system you are using ( ie Windows 7 64bit ).

My other Adobe ID account is linked to an email i rarely use and don't particularly want to use. i have tried changing the linked email account to my regular one i use. But it obviously does not allow me because of it already being linked to my other non used obsolete Adobe ID account. Is there any solution to this?? Please help.

Photos used in iWeb to publish a Photopage, not in iPhoto anymore

I published a photopage using iWeb. The photos were in an album in iPhoto. The page published fine but now the pictures are not in iPhoto anymore. There are empty frames where the picture used to be. Does anyone know where they are and if I can get them back to iPhoto.

I am talking about navigating to ~/Pictures/iPhoto Library in your Users folder.
When you navigate to the iPhoto Library folder>Originals> do you see the roll names and the images inside them that you used for the iWeb photo page?
Check out the screenshot then get back if you find the images there.
