SLVR Phone w/ iTunes Compatibilty w/Bluetooth Headphones?

I recently bought a SLVR phone with iTunes along with Motorola HT820 Bluetooth Stereo headphones. According to Motorola, iTunes is not compatible with bluetooth, so it is not possible to hear music on the headphones. Is this absolute, or is there some way of making them work?

My HT820 works perfectly with itunes. I paired the headset with the compuer and went into the system settings and chose H820 as the input and output device. Music in my ears. It also wirks with vid conferencing wih ichat. Not the best quality. Pales in comparison to a good pair of headphones. It is supposed to work simultaneously with my phone (motorola Q). It should mute the music when a call comes in, but I can't seem to get them to work at the samt time.
Sorry! I just re-read your post. I thought you meant itunes on the computer! FYI: the HT820 works fine with the windows media player on the Q

  • ITunes plays through bluetooth headphone

Every time I tried play music in iTunes through bluetooth headphone, I had to remove and reconnect the device in System Setting panel. After I pressed the play button, the music just would not play at all, or sometimes there was skipping noise. However, playing sound in web browser worked fine. Quit and restart iTunes seemed to be able to "solve" this issue.

It just dawned on me that you are asking a windows pc-spedific iTunes question.  Bluetooth yes, but windows none-the-less.  I think you would be better off going to the apple forum specifically for windows itunes problems:

  • Cannot listen to itunes via Jabra Bluetooth headphones?

My headset work with everything except listening iTunes thru them. I can chat with them, I can even pause and play itunes, but no music comes thru them, only the computer speakers
    do I need a driver ?

Using a headset needs several steps even needed if you have the latest computer or Mac OS X release. Please make sure to follow them in order.
Download the Apple Bluetooth Firmware Updater
    Install it
Remove as much USB devices from your computer as possible
Launch it from Applications > Utilities > Bluetooth Updater
Apply it to your adapter (takes very long and disconnects your Bluetooth mouse).
Start the Apple Bluetooth Assistant and select Headset. Do not use anything else!
Make your headset Bluetooth visible. Look up the manual of your headset how to do that.
Now select the headset in System Preferences > Sound.
In most cases step 3 is missed. You have to start the already installed updater yourself (do not ask me why).

  • Need help pairing Jarv Nmotion BTHL-201 bluetooth headphones

    Hello...
I just received my Jarv Nmotion BTHL-201 bluetooth headphones and my iPhone 4s (I have not done the most recent IOS update) and the phone is not finding the  bluetooth headphones.
I followed the directions -  completely charged the headphones and then tried to pair.  My phone just keeps searching but never finds the headphones.
Any suggestions? ( I have tried it several times. Turned the phone off completely, then powered it back and tried again - all to no avail).
    Thanks.
    - Jill

Never mind!!  Pilot error. Came to my senses - it works!  Great set of headphones

  • Bluetooth headphones not streaming itunes

    Hello,
when using an itunes enabled phone like the moto RAZR V3i, a bluetooth stereo headphone kit does not allow itune music to stream to the headphones.
Is this a problem with itunes software, or the phone's hardware/software capabilities streaming to a bluetooth headphone set?
there's not much info out there, execpt people confirming that it doesn't work.

your phone probably doesnt have A2DP bluetooth profile. theres no real way to get that profile either unless you reflash your phone i think.

  • How can I stop iPad from starting the music app after ending a phone call when using Bluetooth headphones?

music app automatically starts after using Bluetooth headphones during a phone call

If you don't have iTunes you will need to buy the song from the iTunes store and download it that way. If it is a custom track you may be out of luck.  The only way to get a song on your device without iTunes involves jailbreaking it.
iOS is set up to prevent people from emailing each other songs, videos, movies, books, etc. This is how Apple got their contracts with the content providers by promising that they would do what ever it takes to prevent people from sharing content that they didn't pay for.

  • ITunes refuses to use bluetooth headphone

At first, I didn't realize there is this forum, and posted the following in a forum which is less suitable than this one. So, I copy it here.
I'm bewildered. Consider these three items: The bluetooth setting of Mac OS (the bluetooth icon near the top right corner), a bluetooth headphone, and iTunes. In what order should I switch them on?
First of all, I use the same headphone (S305 of Motorola) with the iPhone 4 and the 6th-gen. iPod Nano without any problems. It doesn't seem to matter which is switched on first.
Now, on my iMac, I experience wierd things. For example,
    1) Switch on the headset.
    2) Bluetooth menu of iMac -> Turn on Bluetooth.
    3) Bluetooth menu of iMac -> S305 -> Use headphones.
After a while, my headset beeps and the Bluetooth
icon of the iMac turns to three dots. (Connection
    established.)
    4) Invoke iTunes. Then, the Bluetooth icon turns back
to the Bluetooth symbol, and music starts to flow
from the buildin speaker. Not from the headset!
    5) Quit iTunes.
    6) Bluetooth menu -> Turn off bluetooth.
    7) Do item (2).
    8) Do item (3).
    9) Do item (4). And then, there is an error pop-up
window, saying that the bluetooth audio failed,
    or somthing to the effect.
    10) Restart the iMac.
    11) Repeat from (1). Then, SOMETIMES, iTunes plays music
    through my headset!
I failed to see any "systematicness". It SOMETIMES works and SOMETIMES fails.
Is there any pattern here? What's the correct order to turn on various things? I ask this, because establishing a Bluetooth connection after starting iTunes SOMETIMES works!
Oh, and I'm sitting right in front of the iMac and the strength of the signal should be very good. When I do a test like the above, I turn off all other Bluetooth signals. (For example, if its Bluetooth is on, my iPhone 4 establishes a connection with my headset before my iMac does so.)

Are these tracks ones that iTunes played successfully before the update? If not, what format are the tracks (MP3, WAV, WMA, etc.)?

  • Itunes and bluetooth headphones is horrible

I have a really nice pair of rocketfish bluetooth headphones that work great with my iphone...i tried using them with itunes....sound quality was unbearable and all i got was pops and cracks using these headphones with garageband.....Mac needs to do something about this. I have tried using several diff brands of headphones from $50 to $300 same problems. Its obviously not the headphones cause they sound awesome on my phone

I no longer need this questioned answered, haven't used those headphones in the LONGEST time!

  • Bluetooth headphones with itunes

i have some bluetooth headphones, LG HBS-200 and a bluetooth usb dongle for my laptop. I can connect my headphones to my computer, but i don't know how to make itunes work through them. (or any other media like power dvd for that matter) any help would be greatly appreciated.

i finally figured out how to make itunes play on your bluetooth headset...kind of a pain.
    this is on vista...
click on the start bar, click on search, type sound.
click on sound, when sound loads you should see a list of sound devices for your computer. you have to disable your primary audio output.
FYI, right click and click display disabled items, so you dont have to go manually turn your internal speaker or speaker outputs back on

  • Phone apps & bluetooth headphones

Can I get bluetooth headphones that will work with the phone apps like Truephone & Skype?

    Merula wrote:
I'm not sure why they would do this as wired headphones are available with a microphone (they work for Skype etc.) Are they the only ones that make the headphones with microphones?
    a) They're holding back features so the consumer can be impressed by "free" add-ons in the future
    or
    b) They haven't worked out the kinks in the system and this is the best they can offer at the moment, with headset support in the future as they fix bugs, etc. Routing audio through bluetooth isn't as easy as using wired headsets. Bluetooth is just like using the internet. All data gets compressed/encrypted/packet'd, then sent to the other device, where it does the reverse. That's on TOP of the audio processing that is done with both wired and wireless audio. So, you then have to factor in, how to do all that, without lagging the audio too much (like watching poorly dubbed Chinese movies, the guy is talking but the audio comes out a second after he starts)
    take your pick.

  • ITunes 7 locks up when I plug in my SLVR phone.

iTunes works untill I plug in my SLVR phone. Then it locks up. The old iTunes software worked. I hope somebody at Apple wil contact me to tell me what my problem is.

Have you tried asking them? This is a user supported forum, hardly any Apple employees even look in here aside from moderating. I would recommend that you go to this page:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/
and see if you can find your answer there. You can also submit your question to an actual employee through that page, so give it a try.
And, from personal experience I can tell you that I received an answer back when submitting a question within 24 hours, so it should not take too long.

  • Bluetooth Headphones for Mac Pro - Recommendations Please?

    Hello!
I am looking for a Bluetooth headphones to listen to iTunes on my Mac Pro.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!

yup.. this was added to Leopard 10.5... 10.5 is REALLY flaky though (all around, not bluetoothwise)... 10.5.2 is what you need.
but with 10.5.2 installed i use the Motorola MOTOROKR™ S9 with a Belkin USB bluetooth adapter (class 1 so get 300 ft range)... works really well... good for exercise 'cause they are light and they stay in your ears securely and can take sweat etc and they are sound isolating and have two sizes of in ear thingies for different sized ears.
plus have Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) and Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP). AVRCP lets you control iTunes and volume from the head phones... back, forward, play, pause, volume up and down.. they are really cool and work perfectly.

  • Bluetooth headphones dilemma

    Hi all,
I'm having an issue with my Bluetooth headphones & my iPhone. The headset is a motorola s805 so it has the ability to play stereo music CIA Bluetooth. I paired it with the iPhone and tested it with the voice memo app and was able to hear the message I recorded so I know the headphones are paired and function. When I go in iTunes and play a song plays out of the speaker!! I've looked All over the phone and can't find a menu option anywhere that let's me choose the sound output source. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    francis

The only thing I see when I go to that window are the skip back, pause/play, skip forward buttons and right below them there is the volume control and that's it!! no bluetooth icon
